This has been an interesting journey. I looked surprisingly good immediately after the surgery on day two. I didn’t quite expect that the trajectory would actually get worse over the next two weeks. Lots of swelling that extended all the way to my eyes annd temples and my skin seemed to have a crazy allergic reaction causing it to get scaly and red. I assumed that new skin would emerge underneath, but I will say that it was a very stressful and demoralizing experience. Things have calmed down at day 19 though things are still puffy and very tight. My face is itchy too and the new skin isn’t fully in yet. If you have this condition I would highly recommend putting aquaphor all over as that seemed to help move the process along. I have posted a picture before and at day 19 which is where I am now. The swelling is finally starting to subside and I am feeling much better about the results. I am very surprised you can hardly see the incision at all in front of my ears and Dr. Weston did an amazing job. I’m just a little impatient to see the final results but I’m convinced that they will be good. I already I look younger than before, and the marionette lines are less prominent. I don’t have any pictures from the side yet but will post some later. Overall, I’m very happy I did it. Updated on 28 Mar 2023: So I’m on day 32 and things are looking better. My skin is less itchy and puffy though the under eye area is still not back to normal. I think there is still some swelling. My friends so think I look younger and I’m pleased with the results so far. Updated on 11 Apr 2023: It’s been six weeks and my skin is finally less dry and inflamed. I am pretty sure I look better and younger. Am very happy with how this came out. Having said that, the recovery was stressful despite the great outcome. Updated on 9 May 2023: 2.5 months out. Skin is still cycling through as my face continues to shrink and the area around my ears are still kind of numb but I can really see a difference! I think it was worth it and I’m feeling much better about this. Updated on 25 May 2023: It’s been three months and things are looking very good! Skin still dry and cycling. Not sure why. But I’m very pleased with results. Incision around ears still a little tender when touched. I really see a difference.

Dr. Weston did such a great job with my breast reduction! The procedure was done really well, he made sure to make them proportionate to my body. The end result was better than I could have imagined and I am very happy that I decided to go forward with this big change that has made my life better for me. The aftercare and the friendliness of all the staff were also very much appreciated. I was able to call or email about any hesitations at any time.

Dr. Weston gave me a beautiful mini tummy tuck with lipo 3 months ago. He is truly a master of his craft and I'm thrilled with the results. PreOp I met with a couple of surgeons and ultimately selected Dr. Weston for his charming bedside manner, his depth of experience and the fact that he has his own operating suite. Day Of I was a bit nervous but was reassured by: Dr. Weston's smiling confidence, the calm competence of the anesthesiologist and the complement of thoughtful nurses. I don't like ORs much, but I may never have as comfortable of an experience in any other operating suite. I walked in, laid down and was covered by a warm puffy blanket. The anesthesiologist knew I was nervous and wouldn't appreciate laying there waiting so she put me under right away. She gave me exactly what I needed but didn't know to ask for - minimal awake time and when I woke up it was all over. PostOp My dear husband took me home and put me to bed. I bought the large bed covering pads to handle leakage from lipo incisions. Worth it! Kept frozen diapers on the lipo areas and walked a bit, snoozed, took my meds. Gabapentin was a great addition to narcotics and really kept pain to a minimum. Day 1 post-op visit was fine. I could already see the difference in my tummy! Lipo From what I've read, there are a lot of ways to do lipo, but the most effective is when you feel like you got hit by a truck. It was possibly more painful than TT, but SO worth it. This is where Dr. Weston really gave me my money's worth. He truly sculpted my abdomen, flanks, lower back and also shrunk my saddle bags. Removed 3.5 pounds of fat. Exceeded expectations! Husband says he gave me 15 years back. TT 2 C-sections gave me a terrible fat-filled pooch. I work out 4-5x weekly and it never improved. Ugh. The first night, I turned over on my side and for the first time in 15 years, didn't feel a flop in my midsection. After 3 months, I'm back to working out hard, doing core work, etc. I can see abs!!! Bought a bikini. Life is good. The clinic is busy. Everyone and their sister is having work done. For me, the results are worth the temporary pain & recovery. I wish I'd done it sooner. But very glad to have it done now.

If you are considering getting a breast augmentation, look no further because Dr. Weston at Austin-Weston is the best. Not only am I extremely happy with my results, I had a wonderful experience at each step along the way from the initial consultation to the final post-opp appointment. The center itself is beautiful, too! If it's possible to choose who your consultant is, I recommend working with Christine. She was so friendly and helpful and I never felt rushed with my millions of questions. I was very concerned about what size to get as I really wanted very natural results and more of a "mini" augmentation. She was very patient with me during the appointment and also took the time to work with Dr. Weston to review a gallery of pictures that I had created to show my size and look inspiration as well as what I really did not want my results to look like. Dr. Weston also made me feel very comfortable throughout the process and really listened to what I wanted. Unlike some other surgeons out there, Dr. Weston really believes in natural-looking results. Leading up to the surgery, I was given a pre-surgery information packet that left me with no questions because it was so detailed. Although I felt nervous the day of the surgery, the staff were very warm and comforting. The night of my surgery, Dr. Weston called my husband to check in and see how I was doing. All of my post-op appointments went very well and I never had to wait to be seen. I am beyond in love with my results. Dr. Weston did such an amazing job and I cannot recommend him enough!

After losing 110 pounds, I looked in the mirror and realized I lost at least half of that in my face. I felt great and looked awful, skin hanging from my neck and jowls that would make a bulldog jealous. My first consultation with Doctor Weston we discussed my expectations for plastic surgery, what is a realistic outcome, what can and be done within my own body structure. My first surgery on November 4, 2020, was skin removal from my arms and a breast lift with an internal bra, the results are stunning. This surgery was used as a basis to prepare me for my other desired surgeries. My next procedure will be a breast augmentation and a lower body lift, I am so excited to see the results. I love Dr. Weston and his staff! They made me feel like family. The surgery center is state of the art and the mommy makeover process was seamless from consultation and beyond. I was always able to get an appointment and Dr. Weston did more lipo on a section of my belly to improve the symmetry. He has a great personality and I always feel very comfortable. I definitely recommend this practice.

I am in constant awe of the amazing transformation that Dr. Weston performed on me. I have spent my whole life unhappy with my uneven, heavy breasts and extra weight in my tummy that I could never lose with exercise or diet. After having both a tummy tuck and a breast reduction/lift, I have never looked better and I feel fantastic! Dr. Weston is not only an extremely skilled, experienced surgeon, but a wonderful person to go through this experience with because of his wonderful, funny personality. The entire staff at Austin-Weston was a joy to be with and I recommend this practice and these procedures highly!

Hi all. I had all the above with some lipo done two days ago. I have NO bruising, just swelling. Loving the results already. Several tight spots, numb spots and sore spots but that's to be expected. Was able to shower the next day but opted to stay in bed, icing my face with frozen baby diapers and cold gauze pads on my eyes. I stayed overnight at the facility which I highly recommend. I can't imagine having to go home being "out of it". I have only had one Oxi for pain and have been primarily using Tylenol for pain and Gabapentin for the nerves. Will continue to post updates but am super pleased. My left side is more swollen since I had more done. Will continue to post pics... Recommend chapstick and a Listerine breath strip post op LOL. Mouth is super dry after surgery and I was dying for some minty freshness. PS recommend frozen baby diapers to wrap around your face. This was super clever and helped a lot. I got Target brand #2 baby diapers and wet about a dozen the night before surgery. They are waterproof and help to keep your face cool. I also bought a wedge pillow and a travel neck pillow to keep my body elevated and comfy while I sleep. This worked out really well. Lastly, kept a cup of ice water next to the bed so I can soak 4x4 gauze pads to put on my eyes. HEAVEN!!! Updated on 9 Jan 2021: Still please with results. Some weird things going on with my nerves. Touch a spot on my neck and feel it on my ear. LOL. Definitely need to rest the eyes as they get tired. I actually had the procedure on the 5th but I couldn’t change the date no matter or I tried. Eye sutures removal in 2 days. Rest of stitches and samples out in 6 days. Updated on 11 Jan 2021: Super excited to have the tape and sutures removed from my eyes. That was a bit uncomfortable but considering what I just went through, a walk in the park! Still swollen around the eyes but am LOVING the results and the fact that I have absolutely NO bruising. Can’t wait for the swelling to be completely gone. Be sure to moisturize on the sutures for easier removal. Updated on 29 Jan 2021: I look forward to every new day when the swelling subsides a little more. The key for anyone going through this is to BE PATIENT!!! Everyone heals differently and some quicker than others. I had a small set back a couple days after suture removal because I ended up being allergic to bacitracin. My eyelids swelled back up as if I had just had surgery. When I called Dr. Weston’s office, he wanted to see me right away. I loved that he was very responsive and available for me. I still have swelling around the eyelids and when I look up, feels a little tight. Scars are slowly disappearing. I can’t wait until I’m fully healed but little milestones in between...I can’t wait to have my gray roots colored!!!!!!! Updated on 15 Feb 2021: Here I am...32 days post op. Met a friend whom I hadn’t seen in about 18 months. She mentioned how “snatched” my face looks without knowing I had surgery. I still have spots on my ears where it is numb along with spots along my jawline. Tightness has improved significantly. The suture sights are starting to soften. I still have red scar lines on my eyelids but, I’m sure those will go away in time. Under my left eye seems to have a skin fold that concerns me because when I wear makeup, it collects inside that skin fold pocket. I have my first follow up on the 17th and will address that with my surgeon. Considering it has only been a little over a month, I love what I see. No longer having to look at my turkey neck, tired eyes and uneven eyebrows when on video conferences at work. (Last pic is a filter from Snapchat.) Updated on 15 Feb 2021: Wish I could edit a post. Oh well. Huge improvement. Wrinkles gone! Updated on 12 Apr 2021: A picture is worth a thousand words. My pre op and 3 month photo shoot comparison shows how tired I looked. My jowls are gone, my turkey neck...gone, hooded eyelids...bye bye. I also got lip fillers a couple weeks ago because, well...why not?!?! There is only one area under my left eye that I need to watch and possibly follow up in 3 months if it doesn’t correct itself (incision line created a skin fold...hoping it is just swelling and will subside). I still have numbness in my jawline and ears. I have incision scars but in time, those will fade. I’ve upped my skin care routine and will also elevate the application of sunscreen on my face and neck. I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Weston gave me youth and confidence. He mentioned sunscreen, no smoking (which I don’t anyway), and don’t gain weight which will help my face/neck lift last longer. To say I had an amazing experience with Austin-Weston would be an understatement! I had a Mommy Makeover which included a breast lift, tummy tuck with lipo of the flanks and under bra area back in August of this year. From the time I had my consultation with Wilma and Dr. Weston I knew I picked the right place for this major surgery! Even in the misdt of Covid I had no concerns because the facilty was beautiful, very clean and they had very strict Covid guidelines! For so long I've wanted to have this done. I would work out and I could never get rid of the baby bulge. After nearly 17 years of living with a body I was not happy with, I decided to start seriously researching and take the leap. After visiting multiple sites in the DMV area, I came across Austin-Weston and all the reviews and before and after pictures were excellent! Post Op recovery went so smooth! I woke up from surgery in my clothes and garments they provided. I couldn't believe the surgery was over! I had very little pain, only required 2 of the prescribed pain medication the first 2 nights and advil as needed. Dr. Weston called and spoke with my husband the night of the surgery to ensure everything was going well. I thought that was absolutely amazing!!! So far my recovery has gone as planned. All my post op appointments were informative and I just love Dr. Weston! He's one of the most down to earth physicians I've ever met and does amazing work! I am so glad I chose Austin-Weston and would recommend them to friends and family!!!
