Q: Can a tummy tuck be carried out after four c-sections? asked by Nothappy Edmonton Alberta...

A:

I'd almost go so far as to say having had a c-section is a reason to have a tummy tuck.  After four, you can be fairly certain your abdominal wall is lax, and you either have 1/2 of the horizontal scar, or might have a vertical scar.  In either case, if you are in good health, a tummy tuck can significantly improve your abdominal contour.  Please have a look at the last patient in my video to see how her abdominal contour changed and the benefit of scar reorientation.

Best regards,
