My consult was very informative and I felt based upon his reputation, clinical explanation and credentials he was the best choice. Also his center is a certified ambulatory center. The CRNA was awesome...I was very nervous and he put me at ease and no nausea afterwards! I elected for Lortab vs Percocet so it could be called in. In retrospect I would have appreciated Percocet for day 2-3. day 3 was the worst for me as expected. Cost was reasonable given I had flanks and upper and lower abs. I did get 10% off a free consult as I attended an open house. His nurses and office staff are very helpful...the first follow up appt was with a nurse.

Rhinoplasty

Smooth talker at first. Set expectations that were reasonable, but he still did not meet them. For instance most surgeons will write or mark on you before surgery. He told me to expect that. On day of surgery, they were rolling me back and I insisted he see me before the ENT started the deviated septum procedure. (before I was out and swelled - which is what he told me needed to happen) He showed up and acted pissed and rushed. I wanted to stop right then, but was already on gurney with IV's headed to op room. This guy left me deformed and when I challenged him, he blamed me. Too difficult...best result I could have hoped for. He was wrong. I hired another surgeon after having to wait one year. He did a beautiful job fixing this guys mess.

I went shopping for a plastic surgeon. I gathered recommendations from friends and my internist and set up three appointments. Dr. DeLozier was my second interview and I never made it to a third. Keep in mind that I set up the appointments to talk about a tummy tuck: The first doctor I met with wanted to talk about laser resurfacing of my face! Surprising, since genes (thanks, Mom!) and an inability to stay still long enough to be a sun worshipper made my skin my best asset! On the other hand, Dr. DeLozier gave me the information I'd come to seek, talked me out of a few ideas & recommended a couple of things I hadn't thought of. Going forward was an easy decision & Dr. DeLozier's staff made the entire process a pleasant experience. The results were fabulous, the side effects few (and well known in advance) & I've been singing Dr. DeLozier's praises ever since.
