Lucky enough to have him for both of my surgeries

Just had my second breast augmentation with Dr. lohner. My first breast augmentation was 15 years ago and felt lucky enough to have him do my second I would highly recommend to my family and friends. His bedside manner and work is a 10/10.

Best on the Mainline

Dr. Lohner is not only a talented surgeon, but a caring doctor who cares about his patients. He is understanding and answers questions clearly. In addition, his staff is top-notch and responsive. I am thrilled with my results, and only wish I hadn't waited so long to call his office for a consult. Highly recommend Dr. Lohner, but go ahead meet other docs -- you will find he is head and shoulders above the rest who rush the process.

So happy I picked Dr Lohner

I consulted many doctors before picking Dr. Lohner. He is the first plastic surgeon I’ve met who takes the time to get to know, answer your questions, and treats you like a person instead of a file. On top of that, he’s a wonderful surgeon. I could not be happier with my treatment, recovery, or results. I would go to him again and recommend him to others without hesitation. Additionally, his office staff is friendly, highly responsive, and caring. What more could you ask for?

The me I like

This is me today. I like my boobs. I don’t love them. I realized about a year ago (almost to the day) that I can do something about it. It literally never occurred to me that I CAN get breast implants. It’s 100% my decision. It’s almost silly to me how I had to come to that realization. Next step- consultations then figure out how to pay for it and the best time to get it done. Here we go! Updated on 5 Feb 2019: I went to meet with Dr. Lohner today and he was great! I had my sister there for moral support, to ask questions and to help me pick a nice size :) Dr. Lohner is very experienced and knowledgable and out my mind at ease about the typical concerns. I got to "try on" boobs which was just so fun after all this looking at other people's before and afters. I decided on silicone, under the muscle, under boob incision and between 325-350cc. Ive been struggling with the "when" part of this because I play a sport and I'm hesitant to take the time off. But after some thought and chatting with a fellow teammate whose had this done, I feel much better about putting this first. I'm due for my mammogram and physical so gotta schedule those ASAP. I'm hoping to do this in about 6 weeks! Next step - tell mom. Probably the part of this I am looking forward to the least (other than telling my 14 yo son). She will be supportive. But it might take a little while. Gonna hopefully rip off that band aid tomorrow! Updated on 7 Feb 2019: I told my mom last night. It went very well. She said it just made her sad to think that I didn't feel beautiful all this time. I assured her that I do feel beautiful but this is the one thing that I would change and finally realized I can. She's going to take me to my surgery and take care of me after :) I called today and locked down the date! March 6th. It feels so close but so far. I scheduled my physical and mammogram and Im waiting for the packet from the doctor in the mail with the details about getting bloodwork and what I need to do in preparation. I can't believe this is really going to happen! I'm nervous now. But excited. I wish I took pics when I tried on the sizers!! Updated on 14 Feb 2019: I got my consent forms to sign a few days ago and I read them very thoroughly- all the things that COULD go wrong. That night I dreamed that I was laying on the couch recovering right after my surgery. My mom said that it went fine but (in a concerned voice), she said I chose a really big size. I couldn’t remember talking to the doc before the surgery to confirm size and I couldn’t remember anything at all from the time I softened the consent papers to 3 weeks later when I was sitting on the couch after! I looked down an I had one enormous boob and one tiny boob. ???????????? Needless to say, the nerves have kicked in a little. I think mostly the reality that this is a really big deal (in terms of the fact that I’m altering my body). I think it’s healthy though the be a little nervous and have a healthy perspective on it. If I wasn’t at least thinking about the potential downside, I’d be worried. In better news...... 20 days!!!!???? Updated on 20 Feb 2019: Just started taking my vitamin regimen today. And still quite obsessively looking at boobs. I am looking at between 300-350cc and I'm hoping to not go too big but also not feel disappointed that they are too small. I'm REALLY excited and I know I'm going to love them so much. Just realizing today too how many pieces of clothing I own that will either not fit anymore or will look so great after! Updated on 21 Feb 2019: 13 days away.... can it just get here already?? Last piece of the puzzle is in a few days. Getting my physical done and then everything is all set. Had my mammogram and blood work done this week. Next week, I'm getting my hair done and eye brows waxed. Then 8 days off to recover!! Updated on 24 Feb 2019: 10 days to go! I feel like its going to be the longest NYE countdown ever - lol. I am still obsessively looking at photos making sure that I have honed in on what I and hoping for as an end result (size-wise). I started by VitaMedica regimen this week, bought Bioclens body wash for pre-op (and I suppose for after too?). Getting my checklist of items to have ready post surgery. I haven't gotten any prescriptions for the PS yet for after and there isn't a pre-op visit so I'm curious about how that works. But I will be getting Exparel which is time released over a few days to help with the pain an recovery. Also....I found this bathing suit that I bought this past summer. With lots of padding it looks alright. I can' t wait to see how it looks THIS summer!!! Updated on 7 Mar 2019: Surgery was yesterday and it went very smoothly. Day one wasn’t hard. Day two comes with a lot not pain. The Exparol is starting to wear off. But the Dualadin and Valium are really helpful. I get to shower today (if I want too). I am allowed to take off the bra briefly when I do! Can’t wait to see!  Mom is here with me, making meals and giving me the wide assortment of vitamins, antibiotics, and pain meds throughout the day.  Pain on day one was about a 4-5 Day 2 pain about a 7. 10 if I try to move too much using my arms.  Oh but I did Learn something! If you bend you knees and then put your hands under your knees and use them to pull yourself is in bed (to sit up further), way less pain. Updated on 8 Mar 2019: Showered today and got to see them- finally! I’m still in a little bit of disbelief that I did it! I know they are really swollen so I can’t wait to see how thy progress over the next few weeks. They are super hard and high. But I think the size will still be good once they settle. Getting in and out of bed is starting to get a little easier and I am just taking Tylenol now (in addition to the antibiotics, Arnica and vitamins). Updated on 14 Mar 2019: Things are going very well! I finished my antibiotics, still taking my vitamins. Had my post op visit yesterday! They took off the tape on my incisions and said everything looks great! I can wear whatever kind of bra I want now and sleep however I’m comfortable. I tried sleeping flat on my back but that didn’t go over well. So upright for a while longer, but more on my side. Still can’t drive but off from work for 4 more days. I’m happy with how they are settling in so far! They are definitely bigger than I expected. But I love them! I can’t wait for them to feel less tight. Updated on 22 Mar 2019: It’s been just over two weeks and every day my boobs feel a little better. The only pain I really feel if when I do something that works my chest muscles (which is everything!). There still a little tender. But really the only thing that still is an issue is the tingling and sensitivity in my skin and nipples. The nerves are well adjusting. But we’re getting there! They still feel kind of tight but I can see the shape changing. I can’t believe it’s only been two weeks!!

ashban27

33 y/o, 5’ 7”, 135 pounds, 2 children. Silicone Inspira. Under the muscle. Round. Smooth. Looking for 300-325cc.

I have been thinking about Breast augmentation for years. After CrossFitting for the past 3 years 5-6 days a week, and having 2 children my breast are uneven, small, and have no life to them! It is officially go time. I am looking forward to sharing this journey. Surgery is set for Thursday, May 31st. I was so emotional taking my before pics. It sealed the deal for me. All the working out in the world cannot change my breast! No more ugly boobies. I am looking forward to feeling more like a woman and simply to fill out a bra. A bralette seems to be in my very near future. I will definitely add my after pics and progress pics. Updated on 31 May 2018: Everything about today went smoothly. I felt calm and relaxed, woke up from anesthesia like a champ. I also have very little pain. Definitely have some discomfort but it is very manageable. Dr. Ronald Lohner was incredible, has great bed side manner, and values his work. Nurses were the best as well. Here is a sneak peek of my 2 new girls. More to come soon! Updated on 1 Jun 2018: Updated on 1 Jun 2018: Well, today was the big day! It went amazing! Everyone was so gentle, kind, & accommodating. Great from start to finish! Came out of anesthesia like a champ, pain is very low and tolerable, drinking lots of fluids and plenty of rest. I took a peek and they actually look beautiful already. I get to remove the dressings tomorrow and I plan on showering on Saturday. It is my husband’s birthday on Saturday. I would say he is getting 2 fun gifts! I will continue the updates. Here is one photo from me peeking. Updated on 2 Jun 2018: I am so pleased already. Very little pain when keeping up with the meds, lots of fluids, sleep, and hanging with family. This girl has a very full heart! Updated on 2 Jun 2018: Updated on 17 Jun 2018: I absolutely love my new breast! Very pleased with the results. The before and after pics are crazy! Overall progress has been smooth. Word of advice... do not over do it! I had 3 days where I did just a little to much and boy did I pay for it! Breast were so sore, throbbed, contracted, tired, and I felt fevered. I can honestly say it was self inflected. Listen to your body BUT respect that it needs to heal. When I take an easy I have zero pain, breast are already starting to soften, and there is very little to no swelling. I am continuing to pray for full, healthy healing! I am beyond thankful!

38yr Old, with 2 Kids, 34A, Needed to Change That!

I'm 5'8 weigh 140lbs and after 2kids my breasts never really stayed a full B. After each pregnancy and after the "engorgement" went down, my breast size stayed at 34A or 34AA. It was time to finally changed that! My PS was great! I have 425 mid-profile, silicone implants under the muscle in each. I'm now a full 36B (spilling over a bit)/ small 36C

50 and Feeling Fabulous - Bryn Mawr, PA

I had a breast reduction on October 26th. I was turning fifty after having a child at 40, I wanted my probably body bock. Dr. Lohner did my procedure and was friendly, informative and professional. I interviewed other doctors, but I just thought his bedside manner was great. Dr. Lohner explained everything fully. I'm very happy with how I look. My overall experience was phenomenal.. I have recommended him to other people, and I'm sure I'll be back again for something else.

Neck Lift

jobrien39

Incredibly Skilled Plastic Surgeon - Bryn Mawr, PA

A friend’s friend had her neck done by Dr. Lohner, so I saw her, and I was so impressed at how natural her neck looked. I also love the “after” photos in his photo book. Everyone looked so natural, but not overdone. I had neck lift, injection of belly fat in my cheeks and deep lines around my lips and skin removal from my eyelids on 12/22/2014. I was amazed at how little bruising I had and how quickly it disappeared. The eye bruising took a couple weeks to be absorbed, but my neck area had no bruising. I was not in pain, just some discomfort. More than anything, Dr. Lohner’s results are so NATURAL looking. I look exactly the way I did before but much younger and well-rested. Friends have gasped when I pointed out that I had my neck done. I love my neck and jaw line. I am so happy to no longer have the deep lines from the corners of my mouth. I love my full (but not too full) cheeks and that my eyelids are no longer so baggy they weighed down on my eyes. The results exceeded my expectations. Dr. Lohner is such a skilled surgeon and is relaxed and confident in his abilities. He did my eyelids because he knew that I would not be happy with my saggy eyelids when the rest of my face looked so tight. How quickly I recovered. How NATURAL I look. I still look like myself and don’t look like I had work done, just without all the sagging in my lower face. He is such a professional and is so good at what he does. I have already recommended him to several others.
