17 Year AMAZINGLY SATISFIED CLIENT

I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr Timmons since 2003. He has performed my Rhinoplasty, Blepharoplasty, Mini Tummy Tuck, Z plasty and Liposuction of several areas.... there is not another surgeon that I would trust. His work is immaculate and seamless and my results are always beautiful and natural. My healing is always comfortable. He keeps very close check on my recovery and his bedside manner is so kind. Dr Timmons truly listens and empathizes with what you want to improve with yourself. Each procedure he has done for me has exceeded my expectations and left me feeling more confident and so pretty! If you are looking for a top notch surgeon, there is no better choice than Dr. Benson Timmons

Impressive Results!

Incredible finesse with my facelift. My results were better than I expected and I am astounded with how he hid the scars. I checked results with a few friends before deciding on Dr Timmons and I’m so glad I did!

Very Pleased with my Results!

My experience was fantastic. My procedure went smoothly, I recovered quickly and my scars faded fairly quickly. Im 31 years old and I had the chest of a 12 year old due to breast feeding two children, and never really having breasts in the first place. Timmons and his staff made it possible for me to have the chest of a woman. I'm very pleased with my results!

I think I can hang with the young girls again

LOVE my results !!! Staff was amazing. Went for my consultation and Dr Timmons let me have the $1,000 offer that was coming up because I wanted to get my surgery done before my cruise. To be in the "over 50" club, I think I can hang with the young girls again .

Highly Recommend

Dr Timmons and his staff are great! They make you feel comfortable and make sure all your questions are answered before surgery. Dr Timmons performed surgery on me about 15 years ago and I recently had another one performed. I have always been happy with my results and highly recommend him.

23 Year Old with 3 Kids 345CC

My Sugery went GREAT. The staff was super sweet and very professional. Dr. Timmons at Piedmont Plastic surgery did an AMAZING JOB! My breast are even, full, and look sooo much better! I’m a mother to 3 girls. Before the procedure I was a 32b measuring 12.5cm. I wanted to be a full C. I was a small-med C before kids. I got 345cc moderate Silicone. I wanted my breasts to look natural and full again but not so big that they draw attention. I wanted to be comfortable in a swim suit again and not have to wear a bra sometimes with certain tank tops or shirts! I told them I did NOT want to hit a D (super small D is fine) I don’t think I’ll hit a D. Overall, my sugery experience was satisfying. As for post op pain, I’ve been in HORRIBLE PAIN. I’m on day 5 and I have barley been able to breathe since day 1 post op. Swollen in my collar bone. My incisions BURN. My right one is so swollen I feel like my incision is about to rip open. It must be due to a small frame. I’m 97 pounds 5’1. Updated on 16 Apr 2018: I’m a little upset I don’t think my breast has dropped at all and Wednesday it will be 3 weeks post op.. been doing aggressive massages and strap at night.. nothing is working.

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction, age 23

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr Timmons. I am young, don't have kids and decided to get breast reduction because of physical and emotional reasons. I'm glad to say my major upper back pain is gone! And I like my new self so much more now! I don't have an insurance, saved for deposit and the rest is on my carecredit. I know there are a lot of doctors around but I'm glad a picked Dr Timmons, he's wasn't selling or praising himself for great achievements - that made me comfortable with him right away.

Explant and Lift 550cc Silicone, This is Really Happening! - Gastonia, NC

First I want to thank all of the beautiful brave women who have shared their stories and pictures as well as bared their emotions on this site. Your testimonials helped me with my decision and inspired me to pay it forward by sharing my journey. Thank you! So, a little about me, I'm 45, 5'2" and athletic. I've had implants for 20 years. I got 300cc saline over the muscle after pregnancies and breast feeding transformed my once perky 34Bs into two pancakes with raisins on top, lol. The 300cc took me to a small C cup and really helped restore my body confidence. I was happy with them for many years. Over time they began to ripple and sort of slosh around in the pocket. I wanted to replace them so I saw a very reputable PS who suggested I switch to silicone for a more natural look and feel and he suggested I go a bit larger to fill in the skin that had loosened over time. My husband was all over the bigger suggestion, lol. We discussed 400-450cc. After surgery I woke up to 550cc that took me to a DD cup!! Way too big for my frame. The PS told me the swelling would go down but fast forward to today, years later and I still have DDs. Don't get me wrong, he did a great job on the surgery and I've had a little fun with these, but they're not for me. I'm sooo ready to be back to me. Ready for my clothes to fit, no popping buttons on button down shirts, looking top heavy in dresses, looking heavier and more matronly than I am. Ready to wear a monokini minus the major side boobage. Most of all I'm hoping to be rid of the chronic neck, shoulder and back pain. I attached a recent pic. I was shocked, I call it my mega-boob pic. My poor top straps are hanging on for dear life! Thanks for sharing my journey with me. Updated on 6 Nov 2016: Hi everyone! I planned to have three consults before making a decision but I only had two. I first went to the PS who performed the BA and he ticked me off within minutes. I was very clear that I didn't want to replace the implants and had questions about the lift procedure and he kept asking me "are you sure you don't want to go with a smaller implant? ". He dropped lines like, "you won't be happy with them", "they'll be deflated ", "they'll have a very flat appearance", blah, blah, blah. Ugh! He practically ignored questions about the lift. He was in implant sales mode. Believe me I know that what he's saying may be true, I understand the reality that removing the implants may leave me with a look I'm not happy with. I'm not looking for a PS to lie to me. My problem with him is that he wasnt listening to me. I called him on it, he tried to back peddle but by that point I was super irritated and my decision was made. Anyway, rant over about him. I left his office knowing I wouldn't be back. My next consult was with Dr. Timmons and wow what a stark contrast. He came in, sat down, listened to me, told me he understood my concerns, did an exam and told me he thought the explant and lift would give me the result I'm looking for. Explained why, showed me some before and afters, answered all of my questions, wasn't rushed at all and he was very pleasant and down to earth. A couple days later I received a personal letter in the mail from Dr. Timmons thanking me for choosing him for the consult. I canceled the third appt with another PS that charges $200/consult and booked with Dr. Timmons. By the way, Dr. Timmons patient coordinator Shannon has been awesome as well. I'll do a full review after the procedure and after care. Updated on 9 Nov 2016: Good evening ladies! They're out! The procedure went great and I feel pretty good tonight. Some minor soreness but no real pain. My chest felt like it was on fire when I made it home after surgery, especially around the incisions but that has faded. I can't stop staring at my new profile. I feel so tiny and light. The breast shape isn't great yet but I'm working on being patient and giving my body time to heal properly. I'll update after my first post op appt and give more details on the procedure. Thanks to everyone who checked in on me today. I appreciate it so much! Updated on 11 Nov 2016: Hello ladies! I had my first post op appt this morning and all looks good. The right side is a little swollen but the doctor wants to give it a chance to resolve itself. They're a little boxy shape wise but I know changes will continue. So far so good! We'll see what next week brings. Now that I'm feeling more like myself I can give you guys more details on the surgery. I showed up at the surgery center at 7am. I was greeted by Shannon the patient coordinator and taken to a room to change. I gave a urine sample for a pregnancy test (negative, lol). The nurse came in and confirmed my medical history. She was very sweet and put me at ease. Dr. Timmons came in took some pictures and made some markings on my breasts. Then the anesthesiologist came in and introduced himself, confirmed the same health questions and started an IV. It was cold in the room so they put a warming blanket on me. The IV fluid was also warm. I walked across the hall to the operating room and within minutes I was under general anesthesia. The implant removal and full anchor lift took about 2.5 hours. I woke up in the recovery room fully dressed and sitting in a wheelchair. No memory of how I got there. I didn't feel pain at that point. The ride home was fine too, no pain. By the time I got home my chest felt like it was on fire, which I understand now is the nerves repairing themselves. I'll continue to update, hopefully I'll keep seeing positive changes. I'm so happy I did this, it's a literal weight off my chest. My neck and shoulder pain have resolved already! I attached a pic of my implants. They were huge. If anyone has questions please ask me. If you're on the fence about removing your implants I'd urge you to do it. I don't think you'll regret it. Updated on 12 Nov 2016: Today has been a pretty good day. The Dr cleared me to shower yesterday but I was nervous about it for some reason and waited a day. I got over it today and enjoyed a much needed, relaxing warm shower. The warm water felt great, especially on my swollen breast. I also changed out of the surgical bra into a sports bra. The extra compression and support feel really good. I bought a Fruit of the Loom 2-pack from Walmart for $10.94. Can't beat the price and they're comfy and supportive. I'm feeling much better today, no more pain meds only tylenol. Thank goodness for that, those pain meds really slowed me down and left me feeling so bloated :-) Updated on 14 Nov 2016: Hi ladies! I've been off of pain meds since Friday, drinking lots of water and I still look 6 months pregnant! I'd love to hear from any of you with advice. Do I just have to wait it out? Otherwise healing is going great. The little indent I had on my left breast has filled in (yay!), the right is still swollen but seems to be going down. I'm getting feeling back in my nipples (yay!) and I have no pain, just tenderness. The human body is truly miraculous. Happy healing to all my explant sisters! Updated on 18 Nov 2016: Hello everyone! I went for my one week post op today and Dr Timmons is pleased with my healing, yay! I'm pleased too. I asked a bunch of questions today that may be helpful to you ladies too. He expects the asymmetry to improve as swelling on the right comes down. It's improved a bunch in a week. Both breasts are softening and the shape is changing for the better. So nice to have warm, soft, jiggly breasts. I'd forgotten what it felt like! The glue that he used on the stitches has a purple tint so the scars appear darker than they really are. He expects the glue to start peeling off within 2-3 weeks of surgery. I'm very pleased with the placement of the stitches. They gave me a tube of Skinmedica scar gel that I can start when the glue peels off. I can sleep on my side using a pillow. I'm soooo glad. Sleeping at an incline isn't the most comfortable. I can start back at the gym slowly, he suggested I do 20% of my norm to start and listen to my body. I'll try the treadmill or elliptical. No weights for now. I go back in 6 weeks. I'm so pleased so far. I was scared to take the leap but I'm so glad I did. Updated on 30 Nov 2016: Hello RealSelf family! 3 weeks have flown by. I made it through Thanksgiving and even some Black Friday shopping. Feeling really good, almost back to 100%. I've started my workouts, up to 15-20 minutes per day with no problems. Limited to treadmill and elliptical for now. The glue finally peeled off. That stuff is seriously sticky! I'm so pleased with the progress so far. The shape continues to improve. I was scared of the scars but Dr Timmons incision work is truly fantastic. It's funny how when your boobs are no longer your focus you notice other things about yourself. My booty definitely looks bigger to me now and I like it! Heyyy! I've lost about 4 lbs since surgery, not sure why but I'll take that too, heyyy! I've attached a few pics from different angles. Loving the small boob life. Can't wait to buy pretty bras! Updated on 21 Dec 2016: Hi RealSelfers! Just popping in with a quick update. Healing is going well, scars are changing some, appear a little darker. I started Skinmedica scar gel 3 weeks ago, not really long enough to see if it's making a difference. I have a little piece of suture poking out near the bottom of my left areola. It's the little white dot on the pic. I've had this happen a couple times and it's resolved itself both times. A little scab forms and then one day the scab including suture falls off. Its not painful or anything, just a bit of a pain in the butt since it rubs on anything it touches. Sleeping in a bra is getting old, I'm ready to let them hang free, lol. The best parts so far have been the way I feel in general, the way my clothes fit, stomach sleeping and hugs without those rocks getting in the way. Wishing a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all, enjoy!

27Year Old 5'6/ 125pounds; B36 Getting Somewhere in the Range of 425-500cc Saline Under Muscle - Gastonia, NC

My breast augmentation is in less than a week. I am ready for it. It took me a while to book the appointment. Don't get me wrong I love my perky 36B's but I have a lot of room in the middle of my chest. When I wear a bathing suite or anything without a bra I have no cleavage so I am treating myself to some big ole boobies. It took me so long to finally put down my payment for surgery and pick a date because I did the wrong thing....I asked too many peoples opinions on if I should do it or not. All the guys I had talked to told me no that I would be seen as a sex symbol or looked at as a little slutty. I asked my mom about it and she said to make sure I found a good doctor but she didn't say anything against it. This time around I only told a handful of my very good and supportive friends and family. My boyfriend said he would love me either way and my gf at work said she was super jealous. I feel like you need to surround yourself with positive people. If getting implants are going to feel better about yourself or happy then " [RS bleep] it" go for it. I was super nervous about calling and making payment because $500 of it was none refundable but once I did I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Once you understand all of the side effect and complications and still want to do it then go for it. I have an IUD Paraguard implant and if you read all the reviews about it you will hear horror stories but 5 years later I am just fine. Do not read any negative reviews. Google "I love my breast implants." No matter what you do there could always be a negative side effect. I will update before and after pictures as I get closer to my surgery. Either way I am glad I made this decision and I am super excited to flaunt my improved girls :) Updated on 20 Feb 2015: I am on day two of my breast augmentation. Surprisingly I have no bruising, burning, or pain. Of course there is the tenderness...more like a really hard work out. I received 475cc in both breast. I am really happy with the way they have turned out so far. I am able to do my make up, hair, walk around, eat whatever I want, and even drive. The Oxy only makes me slightly sleepy. I can't wait until they drop. Very happy. Updated on 20 Feb 2015: Under muscle 475cc in both. Updated on 23 Feb 2015: I am back at work today. My chest is still very tight but I am able to do almost everything like drive, make up, hair, lift small things. I still am being very careful. I do notice that both of my boobs are numb espec around the nipples. I really don't mind if I ever get that sensation back because I was never a big fan of having my boobs touched before. On day 3 I did experience some extreme nerve pain in the middle of the night that left me in tears for about 20 mins. I chewed two pain pills and took a drop of morphine and went to sleep. Other then that no real pain. I have just been working on touching and massaging them. No bruising either. Still very happy with my results and ready for that 3 month mark to get here. I am still sleeping on my back which isn't hard with the pain pills because they kind of put me to sleep. I can slightly turn on my side but it isn't fully comfortable.
