I recently had an extended abdominoplasty done with Dr.Kayastha and PA Amina. I could not be happier with my care and the results. Dr. K and Amina’s collaborative approach makes each visit feel thorough. They spend a lot of time with you planning and providing extremely realistic expectations for surgical results. K. Plastics also worked with my health insurance to get a portion of my surgery covered. During my search for a surgeon, some offices would not even consider submitting to insurance, and many seemed off-put by the request. Dr. Kayastha was compassionate about my functional health struggles with loose skin and was willing to advocate for me. He understood my goals without offering additional surgeries or trying to upsell during consultation. Dr. Kayastha and Amina practice with meticulous skill. Surgery and recovery went smoothly. My post-op care was exceptional and frequent enough to ensure no complications or unnecessary pain. Aesthetically my results have more than exceeded my expectations! But the physical and mental benefits top all that!!! I can now enjoy the level of physical activity I desire without unwanted skin irritation and infections. My 5k time is already faster than pre-op, now that I’m able to run without aggravating my back! I’ve waited and planned for this surgery for 20 years. I did not take the decision to pursue surgery lightly, but I was so sure in my decision about choosing K. Plastic Surgery and would do so again! 10/10 recommend!

I cannot begin to put into words how thrilled I am with my results! I have been wanting an abdominoplasty for over 10 years and finally decided it was time. I researched online and Dr. K hands down had the best reviews. I scheduled a consultation with him and then life happened and I wasn’t able to find the time to schedule the surgery. Almost a year later I went back. Dr. K did another consultation without showing any frustration or concern that I hadn’t followed through after the first one. He walked me through different options to get the results I was hoping for. While he did advise as to what type of surgery would maximize my results, he also was supportive of my choice to do the more “traditional” method with the horizontal incision rather than the vertical. From there the staff were incredibly helpful with scheduling the procedure and giving me all the information I needed as to next steps and what to expect. When I saw my primary for pre-op he asked who I was going to. When I said Dr. K, my PCP referred to him as a “rockstar” and spoke very highly of him both as a surgeon and person. During other pre-op processes I had two different nurses on two different days tell me how amazing his work is and how he would be the person they went to if they were to ever get work done. These were all unsolicited opinions but certainly made me happy to hear. The day of surgery came. Dr. K was prompt, thorough, and reassuring. Amina, his assistant, was equally as wonderful and they compliment each other so well. After surgery they both were incredibly responsive when I wasn’t tolerating the antibiotic. Dr. K really had the best bedside manner, and beyond the amazing work he did, he also built my confidence with his kind words and encouragement throughout the process. To clearly be able to see HE was excited about his results really meant the world to me! I’m just under 3 months post-op and I am beyond thrilled with my results! It has exceeded my expectations! I LOVE my figure … and I didn’t need any liposuction and still opted for the horizontal incision. I can see why Dr. K had talked about other options, but he also didn’t hesitate to reassure me that the results would still be excellent with the method I chose. He was spot on! I’ve healed incredibly well, couldn’t be happier with my results, and am so incredibly grateful for Dr. K, Amina, and the team! If I could give 10 star rating, I would. Dr. Kayastha and Amina are fantastic! I have been thinking about the surgery for well over a decade and have seen 3 other doctors for consultations. After I met with Dr. Kayastha, I had no doubts that he was the one I was going to go with. He is very thorough and you never feel rushed with concerns or questions you may have. He 100% listens to your wants and concerns. I love the fact that you have 2 separate consultation appointments and that he really takes the time to go over everything very thoroughly. He takes time with measurements and explaining the best possible options for you. The day of surgery was great. I was certainly nervous but he and Amina were so confident and reassuring, it put my nerves to rest. Their bedside manners are the best! Surgery went great and loved that he called later that day to check in on me to see how I was doing. Post surgical appointments went very well. The office staff is always so kind and welcoming. It's always nice to walk in to such friendly smiles. I honestly cannot put into words how thrilled I am. My only regret is that I did not do it sooner. Dr. Kayastha listened and with his expertise I got EXACTLY what I hoped for. I couldn't be happier and would definitely recommend him.
