So this past fall, I was babysitting my 5-year-old nephew, when he fell off the couch and landed directly on my nose. It was swollen, red and painful. There wasn't any bleeding or bruising, though, it just felt tender and I noticed it shifted a little to the right. I also had difficulty breathing, which had existed before, but now seemed even worse. I made an appointment with Dr. Bennett because I read online that he's the top nasal surgery doc in NYC. When we met, I explained what happened and after examining me, confirmed my nose was indeed broken, and ordered an x-ray. He told me that via surgery, he could reset the broken bones and cartilage back to where they should be, and also fix my sinuses so that I could breathe normally again. His Office Manager then took care of me from there - handling all the insurance paperwork so that the procedure would be covered under my plan and scheduling the surgery around my busy work schedule. I thought I would have to wait months before the operation, but to my surprise, Dr. Bennett was able to fit me in the following week, which was amazing! All in all, I was most impressed with how smoothly everything went - from the first consultation - to the surgery - to the post-op appointments. I will admit that I have never been a big fan of going to see doctors, in fact, you could say I was a cynic. I was so used to long wait times, rude staff that rarely lifted a finger to accommodate, fighting on the phone with the insurance company - but Dr. Bennett and his staff made sure NONE of that happened. Describing them as "helpful" and "caring" is an understatement. Dr. B and his staff are a close-knit team that work together in a respectful and professional way that in turn, has a dynamic effect on patient satisfaction. Dr. Bennett called me daily after my surgery to make sure everything was healing according to plan. Meaghan was flexible with coordinating my aftercare appointments around my crazy schedule, and was patient in answering all my questions. If you see Dr. Bennett, which I highly recommend, be prepared to be pampered and given the highest quality of care you can imagine. It's been two months since my surgery. I can breathe so much better and my nose actually looks better than it did before my injury. I now feel more confident and healthy than I have in years and I owe it all to Dr. Bennett, Meaghan and the rest of his staff.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Bennett after meeting with 2 other ENT surgeons in the area and being very dissatisfied with their staff, treatment options and costs. I wasn't feeling very optimistic at first, but things changed when I realized that Dr. Bennett and his staff run an extremely professional office and are dedicated to patient satisfaction. Let me explain: not only does his entire staff dote on you from the moment you walk through the door, but they go above and beyond what you would expect from a normal doctors office. His office manager took care of all of the insurance details during my consultation with Dr. Bennett, so that after, I knew exactly which procedures would be covered. She also spent about 20 extra minutes with me, answering some questions I had about my insurance provider (Aetna). She was super patient with me, and even walked with me across the street to where I had my CT scan done. As for Dr. Bennett's skills and beside manner - I was profoundly impressed by both. He is a patient and humble man, and is willing to put the time in to develop a relationship with you and learn about what treatments will most satisfy you. He also has a great sense of humor, and has a wonderful knack for helping you relax your nerves. After my CT scan, he literally walked me through each image, and explained to me what was going on with my sinuses (my turbinates were inflamed and my septum was deviated). He compared my scans with different scans of normal-sized turbinates and a straight septum - something that really touched me, since it showed that he honestly took an interest in making sure I understand what was going on. Dr. Bennett cares about his patients on a level that is second to none. It's no surprise that he was voted Most Compassionate Doctor for 2013. Thanks to Dr. Bennett, I can breathe normally again, and the irritating sinus symptoms that I suffered with for years are permanently gone. Five stars, A+, 10/10 - see Dr. Bennett and you will be surprised at how far a doctor and his staff will go to give you the best treatment, in a comfortable and caring environment

before seeing dr. bennett and his fabulous staff, i had every problem imaginable with my nose: i was constantly congested, i had trouble breathing and was constantly sniffling. it seemed like i was living with a perpetual sinus infection. as you could probably also guess, my nose was enormous. it was always a sore spot when it came to self-esteem issues. i found dr. bennett on a google search and booked a consultation with him. within 5 minutes of meeting him, i knew that he would be the doctor who would change my life. he explained the causes of my sinus issues and laid out a plan to help me. i was really nervous about the costs (i am not a trust fund girl), but dr. bennett worked with me to make surgery an affordable option. i was also impressed at how comfortable i felt around him, and how patient he was (he took the time to answer every one of my questions...and i admit, i had a LOT of questions haha) 6 months postop, and i am more confident and healthy than i've felt in years. i am no longer a "mouth-breather" (thank god! - or should i say..thanks dr. b!) and i finally have the cute little nose that i've always fantasized about. if you're thinking about sinus surgery or rhinoplasty - do not hesitate -- go see dr. bennett. you will be happy you did.

My experience with Dr. Bennett has been 100% PERFECT. I came to see Dr. B to get advice about a revision rhinoplasty in NYC. My previous plastic surgeon had left me with that “worked on” look, which was stigmatizing. I was anxious to find a surgeon who could help me – and research led me to Dr. Bennett. I chose him because he is DOUBLE board certified – which means he has the expertise in not only the cosmetic, plastic surgery portion of the procedure, but he is also an experienced ENT doctor as well – which meant that my rhinoplasty not only resulted in changing my look and giving me a more natural-looking nose, but the surgery ALSO helped my breathing. It was INCREDIBLE. I am super thankful for both Dr. B and his awesome staff for being caring and attentive the whole time. I had given up on my nose until I met Dr. Bennett – and only one month later – I couldn’t be more happy with the results!!!

A girlfriend of mine recently had a rhinoplasty and the results were beautiful. She recommended Dr. Bennett, so the very next day, I made an appointment. The staff was super friendly both over the phone and in the office. The day of the appointment, I waited only a fraction of the time as compared with other doctors, and after sensing my nervousness, Dr. Bennett put me immediately at ease. He listened to all of my concerns and told me that his goal was to create the type of nose that I had always envisioned. He was also very upfront about what was, and was not possible. After taking “Before” photos, and ordering a CT scan of my sinuses, he asked for my input as he re-shaped my nose using state-of-the-art digital imaging software.

Due to a car accident a few years past, I needed a sinus surgeon. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Bennett for Rhinoplasty in NYC. I had no hassle booking a surgery in less than a week. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Bennett as my doctor, for he was a very caring and honest doctor. I was able to see that he was more than qualified for Rhinoplasty with all of his credentials on his walls and his complete understanding of his work. The surgery was quick and easy. I had some anxiety after the surgery, but Dr. Bennett was on call 24/7 for when I had any questions. He made the whole experience very easy and pleasant. I would highly recommend Dr. Garrett Bennett for Rhinoplasty NY.
