I had one of the BEST experiences and am here to let women know, do not pick the first surgeon you find online. I met Dr. Newman after doing plenty of research on him. I had breast augmentation 11 years ago. I feel that I am more than qualified to write this review, being that I have been through it in the past. There is so much negligence out there, it is truly hard to trust anyone. I am one of those people. My first surgeon was not terrible, however, Dr. Newman was so outstanding, I had to write a review. He takes pride in state of the art equipment, as well as his amazing high qualified staff and over qualified anesthesiologists. One of his main concerns is safety. He made that very clear from our first meeting. Even though what he told me was all true, I was skeptical because of prior, negative experiences. Many doctors will tell you what you want to hear. I am so tired of being lied to and hope at least one person will read this review and know, I am honestly doing this because of how many times I have been mislead. The quality of work done by Dr. Newman and his staff was top notch. My recovery was one day. I had very little pain and was lifting my son after 2. I still can't believe what little recovery I had. This was also something he told me about prior. The outcome was better than expected and I am so happy with my result. Dr. Newman is not the cheapest. I can honestly say, "you get what you pay for!" All of his advancements that result in a higher price are all those specifications you hope for in a surgeon and his practice. I am not getting paid to write this, I truly just wanted to share an honestly great experience and hope I can steer at least one person in the right direction! 5 stars all around!!! Going to write a review on a few different sites. Heard about this one from a friend.

Dr. Newman literally changed my life. He is such an amazing doctor who answers all questions and makes you feel so comfortable. Before picking Dr. Newman I visited 2 other plastic surgeons and NO ONE compared to Dr. Newman. He takes all the time necessary to answer all questions and you never feel rushed. The staff is also amazing everyone makes you feel so comfortable. I was a nervous wreck before my Breast Lift and Aug because I never had surgery before and Dr. Newman and staff made the experiance perfect. I would recommend Dr. Newman 110%. I now love my body and my new breasts!!!

Dr. Newman is the most thorough doctor I've ever been to! He spent so much time with me and I was a nervous wreck. He and his staff took the time to make me feel so comfortable. I love my new breasts and I'd recommend Dr. Newman to anyone!

Breast Reduction
Dr. Newman and his staff (Kerri, Deann, and Christine) have been so absolutely wonderful to undergo this breast reduction process with. Not only did my surgery go wonderfully, the whole group is so supportive and have made me feel so comfortable and at ease. They made it so that I didn't have to feel nervous at all! Everything has gone so smoothly -- I am currently 2 weeks out and already most of the swelling has gone done and you can see how amazing the results are. Dr. Newman and his staff as a whole are clearly a well oiled machine who love what they do and do a fantastic job at it!

I am a physician myself and I live in San Diego. I'm 44 years old with two kids. I have a friend who used Dr. Scott Newman for her surgery who lives in NY and she raves about him. I have a plastic surgeon colleague here in California who knows of Dr. Newman and, although traveling to New York for breast augmentation surgery seems excessive, it was the best decision I ever made. Much of my pre-operative discussion with Dr. Newman was by telephone after I emailed him photographs of me so by the time I got to NY my surgical plan was pretty clear. I have never met another doctor, in any specialty, including myself, who spends this much time with a patient. His staff is equally wonderful. In the end I got exactly what I hoped for, without issues or complications, and I felt like I was cared for in a way that, even from the perspective of a physician, was impressive.

I would like to first say to Dr. N.....thank you! ..the ladies at the front desk were great! thanks to kerri for helping with the finance! I went in one week and a week later i had my procedure done! I was nerovus! but everyone mad me feel very comfy! office is very clean and steril! O.R room was nice the Anathesia doc was great! woke up and i was in recovery!!! If you are considering a tummy tuck ...you NEED to see Dr. Newman!!! Thank you!

I came to Dr. N for Breast Augmentation surgery. He was referred by two other friends who used him for their breast implant surgery. I saw him after having consults with two other plastic surgeons in New York City and one in White Plains. His expertise in this field is obvious just from speaking to him and his staff (who are wonderful!) He actually called me before my first appointment with him which I thought was amazing and made me really comfortable. In the end, the results I have are exactly what I asked for. I love my new breasts!! Thanks Dr. N- I recommend you without reservation.

I went to several other doctors before choosing Dr. N for my breast augmentation surgery. Honestly, I found him on a web search and I knew nothing about him before this. He seemed so much more knowledgeable and so much more experienced than the other people I saw, and certainly more so than anyone else I saw on the web. This is clearly his field of expertise. While I was at the office I met with two other patients who had the exact same surgery in the past week! I got to speak with both of them and they said they had the same opportunity before their surgery. Clearly Dr. N does a lot of breast augmentation. The results I have are exactly what I described to him and he honestly changed my life. I love my result and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for breast augmentation.

I rated Dr. Newman with 5 stars because he is truely a great Dr. and he knows his stuff. It is not just about the money for this Dr., he cares about his reputation and your satisfaction. He provides you with so much information on the pros and cons of the possible outcomes of the proceedure. He makes you feel very comfortable to ask as many questions and he takes his time so you dont feel rushed. He tries to get a great understanding of what you are desiring and delivers just that. Getting this proceedure with Dr. Newman was one of the best things I have done.

I researched every doctor in the NY area that had experience with lower eyelid surgery. When I had my consultation, I felt that my feelings were valued, my questions and answered and I left with more information than I had prior. His facilities are immaculate, his staff is friendly, attentive and approachable.I will go back for other procedures. Bathing suit season came around and this is what brought me to Dr. Newman. I looked like a 12 year old girl rather than a 29 year old woman. I called for a consult and due to a cancellation I got one for that same day. I loved Dr. Newman from the moment I met him. He made me feel very comfortable and was very informative. When it came to size he was very helpful. He listened to what I wanted but offered his opinion as to what he thought suited my body type. I booked my surgery that same day and cancelled any other consult appointments I had made. I was very nervous for the surgery but the staff helped to calm my nerves. The anastesiologist called the night before and really eased my mind. Everyone from the dr. To Kerry in the office made the whole process a great experience. I can't thank Dr. Newman enough!!!!! Call him...he will change your life too!!

I went to three other doctors before I decided on Dr. Newman. His explanation regarding my breast procedure was so in depth that he gave me the confidence to proceed. He took the time to answer my questions and showed me more photos than anyone else showed me. Dr. Newman performed surgery on two of my friends and they look great. I found Dr. Newman on Realself and then did independent research on him. I met with 5 surgeons and chose him because he had the best credentials, spent the most time with me, and answered all of my questions.
