I am scheduled for a breast augmentation on 10/16. I'm 36, 5'5, 122lbs and a small B / A. I have two kids (8 and 9) and won't be having anymore. I've been wanting to get my boobs done for as long as I can remember. Anytime I've mentioned that I wanted to do this, my friends and husband always tell me I don't need it and / or they like my boobs as they are. I decided earlier this year that I'm not listening to anyone else anymore and I'm doing it. My husband is now totally onboard because he knows this will help with my confidence. My preop is tomorrow. We'll decide on sizing, but I have a pretty good idea of what I want from obsessing over pics on Real Self. :) Before pics are attached.

Wish pics are attached. I want to be a full C / small D. I'm thinking 325 to 385 ccs. I want a natural, not too big look, but I also don't want to go too small! Do you all think this would be a good number of cc's for the look I want?

I had my pre-op yesterday and met with Dr. Nathan for the first time in person. The consultation was virtual. Dr. Nathan is super down to earth and his staff is great!
We did the vectra imaging, which was super cool and I tried on a few sizes. We decided on 375 cc moderate profile, soft touch silicone. It was between 375 and 340. Both looked great, but I’ve read so much that you should go with the bigger option. Now I just hope they aren’t too big! Attached are the 3D images with my chosen size.

Surgery is done and I’m home resting. It went really well and happened much quicker than I anticipated! Everyone at the surgery center was so nice and I love how confident Dr. Nathan is. I trusted him completely. We had planned on 325 to 400ccs, landing on 375 at preop, and the more I thought about it and the more pics I’d seen, I decided I’d rather go smaller than bigger. I would like to be natural looking and was worried any more would be too big. I gave Dr. Nathan this feedback right before and he decided to do 340. So far , they look alright. I was expecting them to be up closer to my collar bone, but they don’t seem too terribly high yet. They are definitely swollen and hard. I’ve been taken Valium, which is what I was told would be my friend, lol, and a half of a norco. Hopefully this helps! The pain isn’t too bad, more like the aftermath of a super intense chest exercise. I’ve been able to use my arms more that I thought I would, but am being careful to not overdo it. I accidentally did a kind of push up getting out of bed and I 10/10 do not recommend! My husband has been a great caretaker! I can’t wait to take the bra and fluff off to see what they look like on Sunday!
I had never been under anesthesia, so was a bit nervous, but it was pretty straight forward. One moment I was a scooching over to another bed in the surgery room and that’s the last I remember before I woke up. I apparently asked for a coke, which is weird because I don’t drink soda. The nurse said she cold tell because I made a face when i took a drink, lol.
I let the anesthesiologist know that I am susceptible to motion sickness, so they gave me a zofran and a patch behind the ear that I can leave on up to 3 days, but I’ll likely take it off tomorrow. I had no issues. I’ll provide more updates and pics after my shower!
Stats:
5’5”
122 lbs
BWD 12, I think
Pre op- 34 small B, large A
340cc inspira soft touch round silicone gummy bear, moderate profile

They definitely hurt more today.. I’ve been taking lhalf a Norco and Valium every 6 hours or so. I’m not supposed to shower or take anything off until tomorrow, but I had to take a sneak peek. Pics are attached. Thy are pretty high and hard!
The only complaint I really have right now is from the motion sickness patch they put behind my ear. I took it off his morning, ,but my eyesight is pretty blurry. Typing this review has been challenging!

I feel pretty good today. Trying to stick with Tylenol instead of the Norcos. I think I tried doing too much around the house yesterday, so I’m attempting a lazy Sunday.
I took a shower today and was able to do everything myself.. it was glorious.
Sleeping on my pillow mountain has been surprisingly easy. The heating pad on my back has been a lifesaver.
Here are a couple pics in my surgery bra. I plan to try on fun clothes soon!

I’m not sure if anyone even reads these, but I know that i scoured through like every single review and update I could before my surgery, so figured I’d pay it forward in case anyone is following!
I’ve always heard that day 2 and 3 are the worst, but to be honest, I’ve been feeling pretty good! I’m back to work today (at home), but will likely still take it easy. I’ve been pretty sleepy. I have my one week follow up in a few day’s and I can’t wait to change into a more comfortable bra!
Pics I took this morning are attached. I’m biased, but I think they’re looking pretty good!

Day 4 PO
Still sore and hard, but I’m off the prescription drugs now. My husband said they look bigger than they did at first. Wanted to make a quick update because, look, cleavage! :)

Not much change, but I did notice some stretch marks today. . Hopefully they fade! Also tried on a dress that I think made my boobs look good!
My one week check up is Friday. I promise to not post until after then! It’s just kind of fun to document my progress.

Still riding high, but definitely getting squishier. I’m sleeping on my sides pretty comfortably. I wake up really early and they are pretty sore, so I’ll take some Tylenol and go back to bed. Other than that, feeling pretty good!

I tried on a couple of my old swimsuits today that I never quite liked the fit before. Boobs help for sure!

My recovery process had been so smooth. My breast skin and nipples are sometimes really sensitive, but I’m feeling great otherwise. I have another follow up appointment next week and am hoping to be cleared to start working out again. I also can’t wait until the surgical glue is off the incisions. I’m anxious to start treating the scars, and also to not have black lines under my boobs...

I went to Victoria’s Secret and was sized today. 32DD?!? The fitting rooms are closed, so I couldn’t try any on there, so I fully expected to try it on at home and have to return it. But, if anything, it’s a little tight! I know their sizes run small, but i was still shocked! I’m not mad about it though. It’s much better than my barely fit size Bs.

I am so happy with my results! I’ve been cleared to work out again and started scar treatment this week. I do sometimes feel a little boob greed, but I honestly do think they fit my body well. If you are on the fence, i say do it!I also highly recommend Dr. Nathan!

I ordered a couple of bras from AdoreMe in a 34D. Victoria’s Secret measured me at a 32DD, but I was pretty sure that was only in their sizes. Anybody know why they measure you bigger than you are there? Anyway, I’ve measured myself at home and thought I was a C, but these new bras actually fit me pretty well, so I guess I’m a D!

I can’t believe it’s been over 9 weeks now! My boobs are a part of me and I can’t imagine not having them. I am so happy I made the decision to do this! I still get random ‘zingers’ occasionally. Working out is almost completely back to normal, minus pull ups, which I’m not quite ready for yet.

Had my 4 month appt today. Everything is ready! My scars are still kind of dark and raised, so he injected a steroid into them to hopefully thin and lighten them up. I also purchased a different scar cream since it doesn’t seem like the silicone cream is doing much. Overall, I am very happy! The pic is a pic of a paper print out, so not the greatest quality, sorry!
