Dr. Ekstrom is extremely experienced and I could see from my first appointment that she wanted excellent results as much as I did. She took the time to make sure all of my questions were answered and that I understood every detail involved. By informing me about everything involved I was able to make the right decisions about size/type and recovered very quickly.

I saw a couple of other Surgeons for consultations prior to meeting with Dr. Ekstrom, and I found she was very thorough and honest with what I wanted and what to expect. Dr. Ekstrom and Kristen Larocque were amazing, ansewering my 20 million questions and concerns. I truly appreciate the fact that Dr. Ekstrom prefers a more conservative approach (i thought i would need augmentation and lift), her advice to hold off on the additional procedure was the right decision. I highly recommened Dr. Ekstrom and her office. I am very happy with the care and treatment I have recieved!

Dr. Ekstrom was referred by my primary care physician familiar with her work in critical cases. Her knowledge and professionalism were as expected based on her years of experience. The pleasant surprise was her attentiveness to my recovery. She was honest before and after, giving guidance and discussion. It was easy to question her without being felt that I was offending her, she understood that a patient deserves the time and answers.

This is an all woman practice, the fact that I was able to finance my investment thru the very easy and quick Care Credit Financing process made this able for me to be able to do. Overall excellent experience from the moment I stepped in the door, all the nurses and staff were extememly nice and understanding. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Word of mouth, Board of Certified Plastic Surgeons, other internet sites. The great thing about Dr. Ekstrom is that she makes sure her patients always feel comfortable talking with her, she takes the time to make sure you know that she will always be there to answer any questions and she has and always gives an honest answer. Dr. Ekstrom is very intelligent and caring, which has made this experience wonderful. Her statistics for experiencing problems that can occur after this surgery is phenomenal, which shows that she pays close attention to detail to ensure patients safety. I originally researched Doctors in Worcester, MA that are Certified Plastic Surgeons and also had great reviews, so I met with another Doctor along with Dr. Ekstrom. I choose Dr. Ekstrom because she is very personable and real. I know other people that had also gone to Dr. Ekstrom and had a great experience. It also helped that I felt more comfortable having a woman Doctor who really knows about women, because she is a women! Thank you Dr. Ekstrom for enhancing my life!

I developed a couple of issues with bumps on the scars and had to go back to the Dr. Dr. Ekstrom was very rude, condescending and unprofessional at my post up visit and did not fix the issue. She was angry that I questioned her billing me and the insurance company for post op visits that were supposed to be included with the surgery. She first had her secretary embarrass me, regarding payment issues, in the lobby of her office, in front of other patients, and then again in her office. She had to numb my eyes before performing the procedure to attempt to correct the mistake she made with the surgery. I could not open my eyes while the medication was on my eyes. She then had the nerve to send the nurse in, while my eyes were closed, to have me sign an ipad signature line without reading anything, telling me that it was consent to do the procedure. I asked what it was they wanted me to sign because I could not read it at the time, and she said I "had" to sign it if I wanted the procedure done. What?! How unprofessional! Needless to say the "prodedure" did not work and I still have noticeable bumps on my eyelid. I would never recommend Dr. Ekstron to anyone for any type of procedure. She is rude, unprofessional, unethical (overbilling patients and insurance companies), and incompetent. DO NOT LET HER TOUCH YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES!
