Q: Fraxel Repair vs Dermabrasion to complement Neck Lift?

I commonly perform Fraxel repair treatments with minilifts, Necklifts and the two combined. Dermabrasion is largely out of favor these days. Fraxel repair will improve mouth lines but will not completely eliminate them, particularly the deeper ones.

It also has a lower incidence of complications than dermabrasion or fully ablative CO2 Laser resurfacing. It is also a painless recovery.

The benefits of fraxel repair persist for at least a year, certainly well after the swelling resolved, as has been documented in many histologic studies performed during the FDA approval process.
