Nightmare! - Spokane, WA

This Dr. Had specialized in cleft palette repair in children & did exceptional work. My mistake was thinking since he could do that, certainly he could help w/ my deep nasal labial folds. My guess is he jumped on the plastic surgery bandwagon due to the $$ that can be made. When he saw me in his other office a week later he sat me down & told me that after consulting w/ colleagues he did the procedure the wrong way. No apology, no refund, nothing! I was in hiding for nearly 3 months. Everyone that did see me said I should have sued. I had to have some corrective work done but honestly, my face will never been the same.

Older Woman with Nasolabial Folds and Marionette Lines on Face and Beginning of Jowls. Baltimore, MD

Dr. Vander Kolk was outstanding in all areas. He explained the procedures, answered all my questions, and followed up on my procedures. His work is excellent and I would only go to him for any cosmetic or plastic surgery procedures.

After a 195 Pound Weight Loss I Desperatly Needed a Brachioplasty, Neck Lift, and Lower Face Lift - Baltimore, MD

I met Dr. Vander Kolk for the first time at my free consultation and from the second I met him I felt I was in good hands. He discussed in depth what I could expect with the surgery and what results I may have. He was very courteous and respectful and honest about what I may expect. I was very impressed with his knowledge concerning Weight loss surgery and the affects of recovery while suffering with Fibromyalgia. On the day of surgery Dr. Vander Kolk's bedside manner and confidence helped to quell any doubts I was having. He was obviously very respected by the OR staff which also helped me to feel confidant about my decision. On leaving my out patient surgery it was very comforting to know that Dr. Vander Kolk would be checking on me the next day, which was Saturday, by coming to my home. That is one of most impressionable things that have stayed with me. A house call from a surgeon, to check on his patient and to change dressings! During my recovery I have felt assured that any question or problem I would have, the answer or care was just a phone call away. My recovery has been picture perfect and each day I am thankful for the quality of care that I received under Dr. Vander Kolk's watchful eye.
