So my journey begins.
Just went to my pre op and picked my size implant. Dr thought hp's, but I didn't like the projection. I have been walking around for 2 weeks with rice sizers on. I really liked 275cc, so going with 304cc since I will loose a little going under the muscle. I really liked the 275cc moderate plus on me at my consultation. I am not looking for a large implant, just want a little extra. Haven't considered cup size afterwards, just want a certain look. I did take in pictures to show and understand that everyone is different. The ps is also fixing my inverted nipple. Very excited to have this done. My ps was very patient and answered all my questions. He is board certified, been doing this for many years. I am very comfortable with him and look forward to my procedure. I just got my prescriptions filled, sports bra, button up shirt, laxatives, water, thick socks. Hopefully I got everything. Can anybody recommend what else I might need?

Not much to update yet. Still worried about size. Some days I think they might be too big, but listening to my Ps. He says they will be great.

Am having a massage today, trying to not think about the up coming surgery. I'm getting kind of nervous. I am not looking for a dramatic look, just subtle. Hoping I am not going to big with 304cc mod plus. I think I have everything else ready for my big day. Just relaxing today and tomorrow since I have these 2 days off work. I have my last consultation this Friday and surgery scheduled Monday at 8 am. I will be working Friday-Sunday, so hoping to keep to busy so I am not stressed.

I can't believe I have 2 more days. I got a call from the doctor with final instructions. Nothing to eat or drink the night before. Bring a zip up bra or hook front. Zip up hoodie. Sweat pants, thick socks. I can't take my sleep medicine the night before, so thinking I will be up all night. I am also taking lip balm, crackers, juice.

So far it's been okay, I take my pain meds every 4 hours. Not really having any pain, just tightness around my chest. Kind of like someone is giving me a bear hug. I have been icing them every couple of hours, it feels much better. Someone on here had a suggestion on making your own ice packs so I did that. I took 1 cup water and 1/2 cup alcohol in a quart freezer bag. They never freeze, but get very pliable and mold to your boobs. Kind of like a slushy, they work the best for me. I get to shower today, so will be able to take pictures of my progress. Getting excited about that.

They are still high, but it's only been 1 day. My left nipple is sore, I had an inverted nipple that he fixed for me. No bruising yet. They are still hard and tight. By before surgery sports bra was a little loose. Now it's kind of tight.
Updated on 11 Feb 2015:
no longer taking pain meds, just ibuprofen now. The bottom part of boob is very soft, the top is still really hard. The discomfort is now really just stiffness. I feel pretty good just kind of tired. I unhooked my bra which feels so good. I can lift my arms with no trouble, just taking it easy. Still icing them, which feels good.

I am starting to get bruising by both incisions. Also on my left side near my bra band, which really hurts. Still just taking ibuprofen, haven't had any since this morning at 8. Will take some before bed. My left nipple feels kind of raw, I feel a little itchy near the incisions. Overall I am feeling pretty great, hope the swelling goes down soon. The experience has been good. Good luck to all you ladies that haven't had your surgery yet. Happy recovery to all.

So it's been 7 days and I feel great. Under my left breast bruised something awful. I am not taking any medication just icing. Today I notices that they are getting very soft. They have definitely dropped some and are not as tight as before. I slept on my side last night and had no troubles getting up. They are getting a little smaller since the swelling is going down. Because of the bruising it's very hard to wear a bra, so I go without. My system is back to normal now (yeah for that) I still get tired easier then before. I don't go back to work until Wednesday, so taking it easy until then. I am going to the gym tomorrow to walk on the treadmill. It's way to cold to be outside.

Walked the mall yesterday, really wore me out. I have to go back to work tomorrow at 3pm, getting very nervous about that. I am a retail manager so I'm on my feet pretty much the whole time. I walk a minimum of 3 miles a day while at work. I think the most was 8 miles a day during busy days. We do have ice packs in our first aid kits. If needed I will take a break and ice them. Anyways, my right boob is dropping more then the left one. The muscles tighten up when I do to much. Other then that they are getting kind of soft on the bottom. Incisions are starting to itch, not liking that part. I like how they are looking from the front. Side view is still a little freakish looking. I am having a very hard time finding a bra that fits. Too tight, too big, cups too small, ugh! I tried on several yesterday, because I need them for work. Went up to a large/xl just because they weren't tight. Hopefully after several hours in them, I won't have any discomfort. Can anyone share what bra's/sports bra's they bought that give support and are comfortable for long periods of time. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Overall I am loving them more and more each day.

I go back to work this afternoon. Bought a couple of soma bras, nothing fancy. Hope they give enough support and I'm not in any pain. I still have the bruise on my left side. The bra band is right on top of it, hopefully after a few hours I will be okay.

They are both dropping nicely, the right faster then the left. The bloating and weight gain from surgery has finally subsided. The right is softer then the left. Been doing massages which makes them feel better. The still swell up if I do too much.

Feeling pretty good, loving how soft they feel.

It's hard to believe another weeks has come and gone. My breast are feeling very soft. I am massaging everyday. I am using silicone scar away strips, until scars are no longer red. PS said wear then about a month longer.

I bought some new bras last week. I was measured at a 36c, I still have some swelling on the top part of my boobs overall I'm happy with results.

It's been 7 1/2 weeks now. My breast are pretty soft, they still need to drop a little bit. The left still sits higher then the right. My left looks more round then the right, it also looks bigger. I feel I still have a little swelling in my upper pole area.

Not much change since my last post. Leaving for some fun in the sun on Sunday. Will post tanned picks after next week. My left nipple is still sore to touch, the scars are hardly noticeable anymore. My incisions healed up nicely.

Wow it has been a year, a lot has happened. I got a new job, I moved to another state.
I no longer have high and hard boobs. They are very soft, not as soft as before but, I like them. They are no longer under my collar bone either.
After a year I still think I got the right size for me, I have never said I wish or what if's. I love how they look with or without clothes on. I can do everything I did before surgery with no problems. I was a 36A, I am now a 36C with 304CC. Dr G. did an amazing job. I am saddened that he no longer works at the clinic I went to. He moved on to the Shriners hospital, so I wish him well in his new journey. I hope everyone is doing well, I look forward to catching up. Will post pictures soon

Its hard to believe it's going on 2 1/2 years since I had my surgery. I could not be happier with DR G. from Vernon Hills. My boobs look amazing and are finally natural looking.
