I had a very painful sty in my right eyelid that lasted for over a week. I became more distressed when another sty developed in my left eyelid. Instead of waiting for it to go away on its own, I went to see Dr. Pak. He gave me a steroid injection that literally took seconds and told me that I would be 90% better within 48hrs. The next morning, I was surprised to find out that the most of the swelling and pain went away within 12 hours. I highly recommend Dr. Pak in case anyone suffers from stys. No need to stress out about going to work or going out when Dr. Pak can make the problem go away within 24 hrs.

I found Dr. Pak while searching for doctors who did massager botox and ran into one review that said she got it done with him. Although she did not see results, I decided to go in and give it a shot. My face looks slimmer and will probably schedule another treatment soon to upkeep it. Very satisfied with the results! May 18, was one week after the botox injection.

I found Dr. Pak through RealSelf. I had been looking for a doctor in my hometown who did the Botox injection into the masseter (jaw muscles) to help stop grinding and clenching in my sleep. This is an off-label but common use of Botox, especially in the Asian community. Unfortunately I was unable to find any dentist or plastic surgeon in my city who does this injection, so I drove to Chicagoland area. Dr. Pak is Korean and has lots of experience with this injection for slimming the jaw. He told me he performs it on his wife frequently and has a lot of patients who do it as well. Essentially the botox weakens the masseter muscles and should help prevent the chomping, grinding, and clenching. By weakening the muscles, they also atrophy over time, resulting in a slimmer jaw. I also got fitted for a night guard and am hoping that the weaker muscles and inability to chomp will help prevent any further damage to my teeth. I got x-rays at my dentist's office and they said my roots are blunted due to this chomping and clenching. The only thing is that Dr. Pak charges 16.01/unit, and with 25 units injected per side, it was 800. Where I live Botox is about 12/unit, so if I found an injectionist near me, it would have cost 600.

Just like everyone else I started to worry about my "11 mad-tired"  look when people at work started commenting about how tired I always  look regardless of a very relaxing day or weekend...but I really don't mind them that much. It all started when I woke up 1 beautiful  morning and my 5 yrs old son had this worry/about to cry look in his face as I was preparing his breakfast  I asked him what was wrong...and he nervously asked me if I was mad at him...I told him no not all and his response  surprised me he told me why I look mad then and he made this frowning mad look. After having MOHS surgery to remove basal cell cancer on my lower eyelid, Dr. Pak expertly reconstructed my eyelid in what I would say was a complicated surgery. After just a few months, no one could tell that I had anything done! Because my eye had to be sewn shut for 6 weeks, I was pretty apprehensive about the ordeal, but Dr. Pak's reassurance and awesome bedside manner made the experience as positive as it could be.

I have suffered from a drooping left eye for years. As it runs in the family, I only have to look at my mom to see what I will look like in the future. I had both eyes done at Central Dupage Hospital where the care was excellent as well. I followed his detailed pre and post proceedure directions and had very little bruzing or pain. I did work at home for a couple of weeks and then was able to put on makeup after the last set of stiches came out. It has now been 7 weeks and my eyes look great and my face feels refreshed. 

I tried Botox several years ago because I was unhappy with the lines between my brows and on the corners of my eyes. Although I wanted to try it, I was worried about looking fake and unnatural and I expressed this to Dr. P. He listened carefully and injected conservatively, per my request. The results were amazing. The lines were removed completely and my entire face looked brighter, more youthful, more awake, yet completely natural. I am ecstatic with the results and would highly recommend to anyone.

I had botox done for two vertical lines between brows. I am in my late thirty and I noticed these lines about two years ago and it started to really bother me. I wanted to see someone who is an expert for treating this region and figured that eye plastic surgeon would be a great choice. my doctor told me that it takes about 2 weeks to see the maximum effect. I didn't bruise or swell at all after the procedure. He put ice pack right before injection and right after which helped with discomfort. My two lines are completely gone and the procedure also took care of horizontal lines on forehead which was unexpected bonus! I am very happy with my result and I would definitely do it again. I think botox is a great treatment option for treating two vertical lines between eyebrows. even thought it paralyzes muscles, it gives very natural result.  No one noticed that I had the procedure done and when I tell people that I did, they all say "oh, you don't need it!" And that's why I say I am a believer in botox. I definitely noticed the difference.
