Understands the conveyed desired results

Dr McNeel is a very experienced, highly skilled & meticulous plastic surgeon. I have had two separate rounds with him over 10 years. He is a great listener and understands the conveyed desired results. It’s important to him to also deliver those results! He is up to date on current treatment/surgical options and offers many that other plastic surgeons do not. I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Michael McNeel, Dani his NP & also the nurses/office staff. Most importantly I am thrilled with my results!! He goes above and beyond and I wouldn’t go ANYWHERE else for plastic surgery.

After having surgery recently, I can see the results will be amazing

I received a tummy tuck, lipo to buttocks, arms and neck, with neck tite and body tite. He also reduced my arreola size giving me a slight breast lift without the major price tag and surgery for it. After i was done having kids, i wasn't left too bad but i wanted to go ahead and get tweaked up a bit and why not all at once? I am currently a week post op and the recovery has been smooth. It wasn't as painful as i anticipated. Im already getting up and showering on my own. I am still taking it easy but my recovery looks like it is becoming very quick. Marietta plastic surgery has been nothing but amazing. They have great customer service with wonderful bedside manner. The staff and Doctor were very knowledgeable and patient with answering all my questions. Dr mcneel understood everything that i wanted. He knew i wanted subtle changes with great results. Even after having surgery recently, i can see that the results will be amazing. I am just so happy with the entire experience that im still in disbelief that everything far exceeded my expectations. I can't wait to see my final results after my swelling goes down. Dr. Mcneel is indeed a master at what he does and calling his work "Magic" is an understatement.

BodyTite w/lipo and Morpheus8 to abdomen - so happy with the results

So I’ve always been self conscious of my post pregnancy stomach. I am 5’1 and am 105 lbs and only Fluctuate up or down 2 lbs at most. I gained 25 with both my pregnancies. I did not want a full or mini tummy tuck, I didn’t feel like my loose skin was worth that large scar and major surgery. I had a consult with the surgeon (after 3 years of researching BodyTite). I figured it would help the pooch and the little bit of sagging I had. He recommend I add the Morpheus8 for further skin tightening and I agreed. I am so happy with the results and I am only 10 days post op. Can’t wait to see what the next 3,6 and 12 months look like Updated on 24 Jul 2022: Front and side Picture. I still have some loose skin but it’s so much better than before. I feel a little bloaty in these pictures- my stomach is usually way more flat. Thank you summer! Also I am sunburned a little bit that’s because for the first time since kids I wore a bikini!

Lip Fillers

Sometimes a Light Touch is Just Exactly What You Needed.

Why did I do it? Let me start off by saying, I have always loved my lips. They are not too big, not too small but as I aged, they looked permanently chapped all the time, the natural wrinkles on them became extremely deep (I realize they lost a slight bit of volume and that's normal over the years). Lip balm was gathering in those deep wrinkles on my lips and driving me nuts. My lips were soooo itchy all the time. So I decided to ask my doctor about maybe using a filler there to solve my problem. I didn't want any reshaping or adding extreme volume. I just wanted them smooth enough (like they were years ago) where my balm wasn't settling in and driving me nuts. THE PLAN: Dr. McNeel knows that I am a "light touch" patient so I don't want drastic change. I don't really want anyone to notice I've had anything done. As far as plastic surgery goes, I am a "refurbisher" over being a "remodeler." Dr. McNeel knows that about me and recommended that I do 1/2 a syringe. That sounded good to me. Start off light and if I need more, then I get more. A good plan. PROCEDURE: Now as far as the procedure, Dr. McNeel also does tear trough filler for me so I am no stranger to filler injections. The lip injections are more painful than my tear trough injections probably because the lips are just a more sensitive area. The procedure doesn't take long. You are numb but you do feel it here and there for a few seconds but it is tolerable for me. All of my injections were into the meat of the lip and not into my borders or cupid's bow. AFTERCARE: A little icing on the day of on and I kept my lips moisturized with a bit of Aquaphor Lip Ointment. I did not use any Arnica because it doesn't work on me (probably my body chemistry). I bruise all the time and using it does absolutely nothing for my bruising. I just wait it out. Most of my bruises go away after 1 - 2 weeks. My lips were sore for about 2 days. Not bad sore, just you didn't want to rub them together. Day 3 they looked really swollen but they did not hurt. Of course, they were bruised. It looked like I "chewed" my lip but I expected bruising. The bumps that some reviews talk about, I experienced them but they go away after a few days. It's probably is just the filler settling in combined with the injection swelling. Otherwise, healing has been a breeze and my bruising is almost gone as I am writing this review at Day 9. I took pictures after my shower with no makeup, no lip balm so that you could see the natural process of healing over a week's time not just some before and after. WAS IT WORTH IT? At Day 9, I am happy with my results. My lips look natural (actually they look like they did in pictures from 20 years ago), and I am not experiencing the itchy lips from the lip balm settling into the cracks like before so problem solved. At this point, I think I would definitely have them retouched with 1/2 a syringe once a year. It is nice not having that itchy lip feeling and not having my lips look chapped all the time. Updated on 1 Feb 2021: They say the final result is visible at the 2 week mark. I love my final result. Dr. McNeel and the 1/2 syringe accomplished just what I wanted. Goodbye chapped lips look! And ... natural. So happy. Updated on 22 Jun 2021: Lips look great. I get compliments on my "lipstick" because people notice they look good but can't pinpoint why. I just love that they don't look chapped anymore. I don't have any lumps like some people complain about and I have had no problems whatsoever so far. I am happy that I did it. I was on the fence about doing it but it was just what I needed.

I feel amazing after the incredible experience I had, the whole team of Marietta plastic surgery made me feel like home, and Dr. Mcneel work is impeccable. I am loving my results, no pain or discomfort. 10/10 Updated on 13 Dec 2019: This is after 2 weeks post Op, and i am thrilled with my results. I am so happy in how they look now, no regrets at all. If you are thinking about it go ahead and do it. No pain no discomfort just a little bit itchy on the incisions

BLB2019

31 y/o, no children, 5’3” 120 lbs., 34 a —> 370 cc mod + profile, Mentor silicone, under the muscle w/ armpit lipo

Just had my breast augmentation with Dr. McNeel at Marietta Plastic Surgery in Marietta, GA. I am 31 years old, no children, 5'3" and my weight fluctuates from 120-127 lbs. My starting bra size was a 34A and I went into surgery with the goal of being a full C cup. After a thorough pre-op consultation with Dr. McNeel, we agreed that somewhere between 350-400 cc silicone implants will give me the results I'm looking for. He also suggested liposuction of the fatty tissue in my armpit. He actually called it extra breast tissue, as I've had it for as long as I can remember no matter what weight I have been.. so I decided to that too!! Here are my pre-op photos. Updated on 5 Dec 2019: Post-op day 1 and I’m feeling pretty good! I’ve been alternating Percocet with robaxin & ibuprofen for pain control and that’s been working well. Nothing much to see yet on progress photos. My PS said I can take the ace wrap off tomorrow and shower so I’ll get some better shots then! Updated on 6 Dec 2019: Took the ace wrap off this morning. The girls are riding high and tight, so excited to see them drop! I have some minimal bruising in my armpits from the lipo but otherwise everything is looking good so far! My chest definitely feels tighter today, but that’s to be expected. Still alternating Percocet with robaxin & ibuprofen for pain. Updated on 7 Dec 2019: Feeling much less sore than yesterday.. although both breasts are still high and tight. I can sit up and get off the couch much easier than yesterday and I’m taking less Percocet. Still doing robaxin and ibuprofen every 6 hours. I was able to shower last night which felt great! Incisions are still covered but I have very minimal bruising around them. Trying to stay hydrated and get rid of some of this post-op bloating, but I know this will go down with time. Overall, super happy with the progress thus far! Updated on 8 Dec 2019: Slept much better last night.. managed to tilt a little on my side (so hard for me to sleep on my back). I was able to wash my hair today with help from my fiancé, and I haven’t taken Percocet at all.. just managing pain with robaxin and ibuprofen. Feeling tightness in my chest and some mild burning in my incisions but no major pain. Picture is pre-op vs day 3! Updated on 10 Dec 2019: No major changes here, the girls are continuing to drop slowly! You can tell how high they still are in my side profile photo. Still feeling just tightness in my chest and tenderness in my incisions but otherwise not bad at all! Went out shopping for a couple hours today and tried on some new zip front bras I got from Amazon. Loving how they look in this bra!! Updated on 14 Jan 2020: I’m about 5.5 weeks post op and I LOVE them!! I think the size and shape are perfect for my frame! Haven’t gotten officially sized yet but ordered a 34C from Amazon that fits well. I’ve been able to comfortably sleep on my side/stomach for a couple weeks now. Updated on 16 Jan 2020: Did a little pre-op, 4 week, and now comparison. Love the progress so far!

Dr. McNeel Was Absolutely Amazing!

Dr. McNeel was my fourth consult I had for breast augmentation, when I went in I just knew that he was the one. I am so happy with the way that my consult went, to scheduling the surgery, to how fast they were able to get me in, down to surgery day. I am not 4 days post op and I must say my breast look amazing! More amazing than I thought possible! Updated on 24 Jan 2020: 3 months post op. I am loving the way they feel and look. Occasionally I have some sharp sensation in my left nipple but that’s about all. My nipples were over stimulated at first, it hurt even a shirt touching them but now I’m about 85% back to normal sensation. I sometimes wonder if I should of did a lift to bring my nipples up higher but I’m thinking to just do that once I get them re done years down the road. Updated on 5 Feb 2020: YALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! The picture speaks for itself! I can’t even put into words the difference. I’m so shocked my before looked the way it did. Breast augmentation is the absolute best decision I have ever made!

Amazing results! Dr. McNeel's expert artistry restored my confidence in my looks.

Dr. McNeel has a wonderful bedside manner and set my mind at ease from the first consultation. He did not try to upsell me on any other procedures, and he was respectful and realistic when discussing my concerns. The day of surgery I felt supreme confidence in my surgical team. I loved that the surgery was performed at his own outpatient surgical center and not a hospital. Everyone was so friendly and professional and the surgery went smoothly, exactly on time, with zero complications. Dr. McNeel's expert artistry restored my confidence in my looks. I went from hating my body that had been destroyed by five pregnancies, to feeling empowered and regaining autonomy over my body. Finally: ABS. I have abs. I had worked out regularly, but the loose & damaged skin from pregnancy would not allow my hard work to show. Now I feel that my stomach reflects the efforts I put into staying in shape.

3rd Times A Charm

I’m 31, 5”3 155 pounds. Got my consultation back in Sep and decided to go with Ideal Implant 375 under the muscle. Today I’m 2 weeks out from my scheduled surgery date and I’m rethinking my size. Tomorrow is my pre-op and now I think I want 325 or 350, going to try on more sizes to be sure. Updated on 21 Dec 2018: Hello. I’m 4 days out from my surgery and I’m super excited. This will be my 3rd BA (first 2 not done by Dr. McNeel) and I have so much faith in Dr. McNeel !! I’m reluctant to post my before pictures because I feel like a monster. These pictures are what I was left with after my second breast implants were removed. Updated on 21 Dec 2018: Dr McNeel and his team are amazing. I ended up with Left: 335cc and Right: 360cc Ideal Implant. Dr McNeel called me later that night after surgery to check on me. And 2 different nurses called me today (next day) to check on me. So far everything is great just ready to see my final results. My first post op is Friday Dec 28. Updated on 23 Dec 2018: So today I’m 3 days post op and for the most part I’m feeling good. A little sharp pain near my incision and a little tender under my armpit. My appointment isn’t until Friday so hopefully this goes away by then. Trying not to take the pain meds but it’s still hard for me to get comfortable and sleep at night.

Drainless Tummy Tuck - Right Decision For Me

The most calming surgical procedure and recovery experience ever. The build up, the surgery and recovering has been so smooth. Very little pain and discomfort with this drainless tummy tuck. I felt so safe in Dr. McNeel's hands and confident that my results will be as expected given his experience. Updated on 29 Jul 2018: Thought I'd add some pictures. Updated on 29 Jul 2018: Mother of three children and was tired of people asking if I was expecting. Wishing I could feel confident in the clothes I wear and not have to always wear baggy clothing to hide my tummy area. So TT was my only option. My PS told me tummy muscles ended up being 7cm apart! Updated on 4 Aug 2018: Almost at the one month mark. I'm starting to see my waistline now. Also started thinking about what exercises I can be doing to maintain my new bod! But I know I have to wait at least to the 6 week mark before working out, but I'm raring to go. Oh well, I have my 4 week checkup on Wednesday so will see what my PS says about it. Happy healing ladies :-) Updated on 12 Aug 2018: I saw my PS last Wednesday, who says I can start wearing a spanx compress garment during the day and wear the other one at night. I can finally wear clothes that can show off my new slimmer self. I have to continue using the tape over my scar which he says is healing great. I go back in six weeks. Still swollen, especially around the mons area, which I was hoping would have gone down by now, but guess it all just takes time and need to be patient. Until next time, happy healing ladies. Updated on 18 Aug 2018: Starting to see the real results and hubby is too!. I'm loving the new me. I have no doubt I made the right decision. I find the more active I am the more swollen I get by the end of the day. Still sleeping in my compression garment and by the morning the swelling has gone down. Still puffy in the mons area. Scar is looking good as well, the tape is doing its job well. Until next time, happy healing ladies. Updated on 6 Sep 2018: Two months down since my tummy tuck procedure. Feeling more confident in my clothes now. The area above my belly button is still very tender to touch and it still hurts to sit up at times. I've started wearing bras without underwire so no wires digging into me, feels much more comfortable. My boobs look more defined now that my tummy is out of the way!! I go back for appointment in two weeks. Hopefully will start scar treatment then. Anyways just thought I'd give an update. Until next time, happy healing ladies. Updated on 19 Sep 2018: 10 weeks post op, 10lbs lighter and 5 inches smaller in the waist. I'm loving my new body. Its nice to try on and buy clothes that show off my actual style instead of wearing baggy clothes that try to cover up what I didn't want people to see. I went to see my surgeon today. He's happy with the way I'm progressing and even took my 2 month photos. I go back again at the 4 month mark to take my after pictures. He gave me the go ahead to start working out if I want to. I can also start scar therapy after the 3 month mark but need to decide on what to use. Apparently it has to have silicone in it for best results, so if anyone has any suggestions please comment below. I'm still a little swollen at the top of my abs and down the center of my stomach but still wearing my compress garment at night, so hopefully in the long run the swelling will finally go away. Anyways its getting late, until next time, happy healing ladies. Updated on 4 Oct 2018: Still maintaining my weight and inches! So no more tape for me. I've started using scar away silicone gel on my scar. Let's see if there is any difference in a month or so. It does feel weird to not cover my scar after 3 months of the tape protection. But it also feels good to feel normal again. I've also started working on my abs as I think most of the swelling is gone down now, especially around my mons pubis. It looks so much better. It does feel a bit puffy though under my breasts, so I guess I just have to wait a little longer for the swelling to completely disappear! Posted some more pics. Until next time happy healing ladies. Updated on 26 Nov 2018: I had my last visit with my surgeon last week. He says everything looks great. My scar is flattening out nicely. No need to return unless I need some other work done! But I'm happy with my new look. I've started working out at the gym as wanting to maintain my figure. I'm now down 15 lbs from before the surgery, but thats mostly because i am doing more exercise and eating better. I appreciate my body so much more. Anyways just wanted to give an update. I've attached a couple more pics. Until next time, happy healing ladies.
