I went to Dr Dejoseph after losing 40 pounds and just really being ready to do something about the loose skin around my neck! I had been to several plastic surgeons about 3-4 years ago, and while they were the top in their field, non of them really inspired me to pull the trigger (thank God, because after losing weight I would have had to redo my surgery). Dr. Dejoseph had been recommended by a co-worker who'd heard he was the best, and when I met him, I was impressed by his enthusiasm and obvious passion for what he does, and also that he only does facial surgery (he's not trying to be the jack-of-all trades: "I can do your face! I can do your breast augmentation! I can do your tummy tuck!" Also, he was very down to earth and I found it refreshing that he still has his original Italian nose--some surgeons I saw looked so over-operated on themselves! His staff people are amazing, and I just know immediately that THIS was the person I was going to try my face to! The reason for my cost is that I actually had 4 procedures: upper eyelids, liposuction under the chin, neck left and lower facelift.

I am 55 and chose to get a fractional CO2 laser treatment to my face to correct color changes due to sun damage as well as to smooth fine lines in places that seem hard to get to. I would do it again a skinny minute! It was about five days of crazy but after all was done, I can go without foundation and my face has smaller pores and smoother skin. I love Dr. Dejoseph. He is honest and caring and really cares about his patients. He even went back over an area of particular concern for me. Pain level was minimal because they offer laughing gas. The pain after the procedure was like a severe sunburn for a day or two. I didn't have a lot of peeling. It seems to slough off with rubbing but it's minimal and not very visible.

I was heavier when I was younger and went through menopause early. That left me with a bad combination of loss of collagen and loose skin around my neck and face. At 58, I decided it was time to do something about it. I went to see Dr. DeJoseph who recommended a mini facelift and a neck lift. I also did a laser resurfacing to remove a lot of sun damage. I was extremely happy with my procedure. My main concern going in was that it was not going to look natural. I had sagging skin after Jaw shaving surgery aka Korean VLine surgery. Dr DeJoseph recommended submentoplasty & a little submentolipo. I was awake during the procedure & had zero pain. I felt safe not being under anesthesia. There was very little swelling & bruising post surgery. The results are great! Dr DeJoseph is one of the few doctors in Atlanta that I trust and would recommend to friends & family. Additionally he's incredibly friendly and has great bedside manner, which is a pleasant change of pace compared to many of the top doctors in Atlanta

I have always looked young for my age but at 55, I wasn't getting those remarks any more. Dr. DeJoseph was kind and professional throughout my entire experience. I saw Dr. DeJoseph recently, for a mini facelift procedure on February 5th. This was a great experience. From the time we first met, Dr. DeJoseph was totally friendly and went out of his way to help with my concerns. Dr. DeJoseph has a very professional staff who made me feel at home, explaining to me the mini facelift technique and how it could help my situation. I found out about the doctor from someone I know well, who had also seen Dr. De Joseph. I would never have guessed she had any work done, so I knew this would be the office for me. My face was starting to look a bit droopy and much older than I felt, so when my birthday came around, I finally decided to treat myself. I love that my skin is now smooth and looks so refreshed. Not only do I look like I am well-rested, but I actually look years younger. My whole process was smooth and gratifying. My hope is that I can inspire someone else to do the same.

This past January, I saw Dr. DeJoseph for a lower facelift and mini neck lift. My daughter is getting married in July and so I wanted to get my neck done before the wedding. I originally found him on the Internet, watching his YouTube videos. Although Dr. DeJoseph was actually my 3rd contact, I immediately I found his office to be so helpful with everything; I loved the whole staff immediately. They were accommodating, answered all of my questions, and made me feel at ease. Overall, my surgery was easy, plus my recuperation was fast and almost painless. Three days later, I was able to head out of the house and was even at the movies. There was almost no bruising. Today, I think that everything looks beautiful and I am 10,000% pleased with my results. Dr. DeJoseph addressed all of my concerns, making my neck nice and tight. He always came to me with an excellent bedside manner, making me feel warm and cared for. I feel fortunate to have fond such a great surgeon.

Earlier this month, I saw Dr. DeJoseph for a mini facelift, mini neck lift, and laser eye treatment. Over the years, I have had consultations with doctors all over the country and have even had several other plastic surgery procedures. This was definitely the easiest recovery for any cosmetic procedure I have had. One of my friends originally recommended Dr. DeJoseph, after she had a procedure at his office. Her results looked amazing, so I immediately made my own consultation. All I can say is that I will never go to another doctor again. I am thrilled with my results. While I know I had a procedure, no one else does, not even my closest friends. Dr. DeJoseph does not overdo it. Today, my neck looks perfect and I have a straight chin line. Everything is just perfect. I have already recommended him to some friends. Dr. DeJoseph will certainly be my doctor going into the future.

I am so happy that I decided to take this leap of faith and go ahead and get rhinoplasty. I've never really liked my nose because I hate the way it spreads when I smile as well as the bulbous tip. I also felt that I need a bridge. A coworker told me that if I was interested in any type of plastic surgery I should check out RealSelf. After that, I started following the rhinoplasty post as well as looking for doctors to consult. I went to about four consults before deciding On Dr. DeJoseph. He is located in Atlanta and the surgery center is right next door to the office. He was very patient and listen to my wants and concerns about my nose. Then he told me what he could do so that a would have a conservative change without loosing my ethnic appearance. We decided on a bridge, bring in nostrils so they don't flare to much when smiling and a more refined tip. Also No cuts on the outside of the nose. Dr. DeJoseph is a Facial Plastic Surgeon and ENT. I do have breathing issues so he did inform me that once he is inside of the nose he always checks for deviated septum etc., and would repair at no additional cost! I thought that was great because during my other consultations I was told that it would be an additional charge. The procedure was originally quoted at over $8000, but if you pay your deposit within I think 7 days than you receive a 10% discount; so that how I ended up paying $7302... The staff in the office as well as the surgery center are extremely nice. Dr. DeJoseph talked to me after the procedure was over and later that night, I received a call from the office and I also received 2 calls from the surgery center. They were very attentive! I do not live in Atlanta so I am staying at a hotel for the week until my splint is off. I also had to hire a transportation service to take me to the surgery center than back to the hotel. Updated on 1 Oct 2016: The swelling in my face is almost gone and the bruising around my eyes is pretty much gone. I haven't taken any pain medication since Day 2. For those of you that maybe on the fence about Arnica; I do believe it has helped me a great deal with bruising and swelling and allowed it to stay at a minimum. I started taking the Arnica pellets 3 days before surgery and added the Arnica gel along with Bromelain/Quercetin(taken on an empty stomach; help with bruising, swelling and inflammation) the day of the rhinoplasty but after the procedure. I still continue with these items faithfully each day. I also use a neck pillow at night for sleeping. I sleep on two pillows plus the neck pillow. It has help me to stay elevated while sleeping. Splint comes off Monday! I can't wait to see my new nose!! Updated on 3 Oct 2016: Well this is my new nose! I am so happy and wish I would have done this a long time ago! Dr. DeJoseph gave me the same nose but a smaller version, just as I ask!! I wanted my nose to still look natural while keeping my ethnic appearance. I have a bridge now which is something that I'm going to definitely have to get used to, before that the area was flat:) The bridge really makes other features more striking(lips, smile, eyes and cheek bones)....my tip is more refined and not as bulbous as before and my nostrils/nose doesn't spread as much when I smile! The left side is still a little swollen along with the tip. Only cut was placed on the columella, so no scars!! I have 1 more week off work so I will spend time getting use to my new nose. I can't believe this nose is mine! My next appointment is in 6 weeks November, but I will also post more pics this weekend with make up on! Picture 1 and 2 new nose Picture 3 old nose Updated on 16 Nov 2016: So I had my 6 week appointment on November 14th! Dr. Dejoseph says nose looks great! Perfect! He Loves my profile....Still some swelling. He says it's going to really look great after 1 year when the swelling is gone.....it's really been a confidence booster! And looks so Natural. I take pictures of myself all the time! The one thing I was paranoid about was my upturned tip. This is no longer an issue! Tip dropped after about 2 weeks!!! Next appointment in March(6 months). Healing Process So I am no longer taking Arnica. Just trying to eat as healthy as possible. Back on my multivitamins...no more sleeping elevated....currently, I only use the Saline Nasal Spray a couple times a day to keep nose clean(dr. Said to keep this up)....ohh yes! I do use the Biore strips for my nose once a week! Also I wear contacts lenses during the day and glasses at night, but I haven't started wearing my glasses again since the surgery. I think I'm going to wait till after 6 months just to be in the safe side. Don't want any indentions on this $7000+ nose:) so glasses can wait! Has anyone been able to tell!?? Remember, I told no one about my procedure! So far the only person that was able to tell was my mom. She says my nose isn't flat anymore! She likes it. One of my friends ask me when a group of us were out if I had surgery on my nose....I said no!!....and the other friend said it looks like I just contoured....of course, I went with it:):) Updated on 5 Jun 2017: So today I saw Dr. Dejoseph. He said my nose looks great and he along with staff were more excited than me! He said my nose was perfect and profile is exceptional! I'm so happy! I will see him again in 12 months. I love my results and completely trust Dr. Dejoseph. As far as my healing process: he said my nose will only look better as the swelling continues to go down and the nose continues to take shape. Sometimes I still have a little swelling in the mornings and when I drink alcohol, which is not often. I wear my glasses at night when I'm home from work and have not had issues with indentions but initially I did not start wearing my glasses till after 4 or 5 months. I am so happy I did this. No one knows about my surgery except my mom. People know there is something different but can't figure out what. I received compliments before but now, i get tons of compliments on how pretty I am even from complete strangers. It's amazing what happens when your facial features have balance. My confidence has soared...I can't stop looking at my face! I absolutely LOVE IT!! Thanks Dr. Dejoseph!
