Headed for the Big 60 and Fighting Hard- Celebration, FL

Dr Gregory is the rare combination of artist and technician. My outcome was natural and clean. My incision sites healed beautifully and even with the post surgery swelling, not one stitch came lose. I only took Tylenol (no prescription pain meds) for three days after the procedure, and did not have any real pain. After I returned to work (just 2 weeks after the procedure), two of my co-workers asked me for Dr. Gregory's contact information and are having the same procedure performed later this year.

50 Year Old Woman with Atrophied Skin on Lower Face and Neck - Orlando, FL

Dr. Greggory is an extremely kind, compassionate and skilled surgeon who came high reccommended from various sources. Believe me I did my research! He not only cared about what he thought looked good but was concerned if I was pleased with the results as well. I appreciate that he was just as helpful at my follow-up appointment has he was before the surgery. He definitely exceeded my expectations! I have already recommended him to several friends.

Terrific Dr! Happy Happy Patient!!! - Celebration, FL

He is a board cetified Plastic Surgeon, and has such a warm, sincere personality. He looks right at you when he talks to you, and I didn't get any sense that he was just selling me something, but that he really could visualize what he could do for me.

Treating Bumps After Filler Injection Part II

Treating bumps after filler injection, Part IIRichard O. Gregory, MDThis article is to complete the discussion started in Part I.Please read that for background. Many times precise injection using the smallest syringes and needles can help reduce the incidence of bumps after injection of filler. In addition I encourage my patients to use "micro massage" to blend or mold hyaluronic acid fillers for creases (not Voluma) thereby creating a pleasing contour and reducing bumps...

Filler Migration Versus Technique

Migration of InjectablesRichard O. Gregory, MDMigration of injectable material in tissue is a subject that frequently is discussed whenever an unanticipated result happens.Although there is undoubtedly migration into surrounding tissue this is sometimes given as a reason for the bad result when in fact the problem is more technique related.Add to this the influence of swelling, massage, positioning after treatment and it becomes a complex situation. It is obvious that there are...

Tissue rejuvenation by heat

Tissue Rejuvenation by heatRichard O. Gregory, MDThermiTight is radio frequency (RF) heating of the tissues by induction of very rapid oscillation of the molecular structures. In the process of heating, tissue reacts in a variety of ways depending on the type tissue as well as the rate and degree to which it is heated. Some lethal heating of cellular tissue causes apoptosis or a shriveling of the cells which the die and are absorbed or shed. Sublethal heating may cause the cells...

Juvederm Use (and Misuse)

Juvederm Use (and Misuse)Richard O.Gregory, MDJuvederm®, Hyaluronic Acid (HA), is Allergan’s filler approved in June 2006 for fine wrinkles and folds of the face. Any other use for it would be considered off label. Although it is not approved for any other use it is used widely (and safely) in other areas, but clearly this introduces other liability considerations. Although introduced in two forms, Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Ultraplus, the latter being more crosslinked in order to...

Male Cosmetic Surgery 2013

Male cosmetic surgery Richard O. Gregory, M.D. According to the statistics gathered by the American Society for aesthetic plastic surgery (ASAPS) the percentage of men having cosmetic surgery has remained about 10% for years. This is curious in that one would expect that as men discovered the advantages of looking younger they would be more inclined to have surgery or treatment. Indeed there is a trend for this to happen but as the cosmetic treatments increase overall the percentage...
