Q: How are the markings done before liposuction?
A:
Most physicians do their marking in a standing position.
The areas to be treated are marked, by first circling the entire area, and then according to where the bulges are, with several concentric circles, almost like a topographic map, with the highest area in the center of the circle. The location of the incisions are also marked.
