Dr Hasan was everything I needed him to be with the procedure and as a Dr. He was laid back, realistic, provided the information that most people don't want to hear and gives you the facts. This is important for me as I don't want false promises or to be misguided with an expectation. He answered all the questions I had and gave me exactly the look I was going for, however I did a lot of research before going in so I knew my realities and had reasonable expectations. There's been a lot of negative comments about Dr.Hasan regarding recent incidents and the one that hit the news about a patient passing away but what that info doesn't provide you is the patients true condition during surgery, anything she left out information wise etc etc and after meeting Hasan and having the surgery I am able to say I would go back to him again if I ever decided to go through with more PS. Being that he specializes in dermatology gave me more confidence in my procedure as he knows skin and will know how it's supposed to look and feel and what surgery, implant, procedure etc is best for each body/ skin type. I had my doctors changed a few times at this clinic and I was apprehensive when I was last changed to Hasan but I kept an open mind and I'm glad I did. His bedside manner can come off a little uncaring and rushed but you have to consider these Dr's are busy and you need to ask straight forward questions and know yourself before you go in so that you can get specific and quick answers from them. They don't have all day to talk you into a procedure, if you want to get it done then come in knowing that and be prepared. The after care and follow up is the only part I can say needs a little work. But again it's not the Dr's fault as I believe that is the responsibility of the nursing staff. The doctor is just there to do his job, make sure you're not infected afterwards and move onto the next. As for the nursing staff and the clinic that's a whole other story. I'll begin with the coordinator who was pushy to book the procedure and get the money, was never available when I called or emailed but somehow was always around when she needed info from me. Then there was the first nurse I encountered on my pre op day. She was not very informative, spent most her time on the phone, couldn't answer my questions and seemed to work more for the clinic than the Dr as she kept pushing me into purchasing lymph massages and garments prior to speaking with the Dr. With my procedure lymph massages shouldn't even begin until at least 4-7 days after surgery yet she was trying to talk me into buying a 5 pack massage which would have had me starting them the day after surgery due to my timelines and being an out of state patient. Also I had to buy a binder for my stomach and a support bra, which neither was indicated to me prior to the surgery and I was advised that everything I needed for surgery would be included in my quote. After this nurse I was rushed off to the blood work nurse who was one of the two nurses I had a good experience with. While getting blood work done I received a call and a text from.Dr Hasan ' s nurse asking where I was and if I was coming in for pre op, I was already there! They yell your name up and down the hallways and dont keep track of their patients at all. It's just chaotic on the nursing/ clinical side which makes the whole clinic feel like a circus. However the Dr's are all contracted out and don't get to pick the nursing staff. To this I don't blame them for and can see the frustration on most of their faces with the staff they are having to work with. So in short, the doctors are probably all qualified and skilled at what they do. Dr Hasan was a great doctor and I have nothing negative to say about him and would recommend him. The staff at vanity are a gong show of unprofessionalism and I think if it were plausible Dr Hasan would do much better in a private practice without the coordination and involvement of Vanity.
