Ian Lonergan, DO - Account Suspended

Dr.Lonergan gave me what I have been asking God all my life: a smaller nose. I thank God for Dr. Lonergan’s talents, skill and hands. I’m two weeks post rhinoplasty and I feel overwhelmed with gratitude. The swelling continues to subside and my self-esteem continues to grow. I pray for the best for Dr. Lonergan for he has an extremely positive impact on my life. Thank you. I could never repay you for what you have done for me!

Went in for my consultation and I decided to proceed with liposuction and fat transfer for bbl. I have thought about it for more than a year now! Thankfully, Dr. Lonergan and the staff made me feel at ease with the procedure; he was very thorough in explaining everything I needed to know before I made a definite decision. Surgery in 3 weeks (Oct 2018); pre-op completed, bought my compression garments and other necessities... I’m ready!! I will report back often during my journey to a better contoured body!

Amazing! Very good at what he does. Botox made easy to understand and took what results I was looking for and made them into what I can afford and keep up with in the future. Will definitely refer friends and family to him for future beauty needs.

Dr Lonergan is a FABULOUS , WONDERFUL and extremely caring & talented doctor. I was his patient 6 years ago , gave a five ?????????? rating and a high recommendation to a friend who definitely used his services. I wish at this point in my life I could afford a revivision in my breast augmentation ( which he didn’t do ) but that day will come eventually. His entire staff are caring , compassionate professionals . I would give anyone his name for any cosmetic surgery they need .

Iam writing this review because of you guys. I have read countless stories that has helped me! Thank you!!! I had lipo on my back, abdomen, flanks and inner thighs (not too much there as the skin is loose). A total of 5 liters taken. I consulted with Dr. Ian Lonergan a couple of weeks ago as he did my prior tumnmy tuck in 2011...life happened since then (menopause) and I found my weight drastically changing for the worse, especially in my abdomen... I worked out three/four days a week and nothing changed...ugh. Anyway I went to the surgical center yesterday and I must say EVERYTHING was sweet! I had about a hour wait from the time there (vitals) until I saw the doctor. Dr. Lonergan came in before surgery and marked me up, then the anesthesiologist and lights out. I woke up to my boyfriend's voice saying he was waiting on me lol! Dr. Lonergan left my incisions open and just a little leakage yesterday. About 3 a.m. after going to the bathroom 5 times is when I had to change my garmet 2xs (bloody mess) but no pain! I slept like a baby! It's morning and I have been up and down thr stairs (3 flights), I have a little discomfort when getting in and out of the recliner. I haven't taken any pain meds, bot even Tylenol, but have taken my arnica tablets and antibiotics every four hours. I have some swelling, and during my multiple garmet changes, I did see some change in my abdomen. My boyfriend said that I was delusional/searching, but I see and feel a difference already. I will post some photos today after my much needed shower and you guys can tell me. I really thought that I would be down and in pain, but so far all is good. Dr. Lonergan called me last night to see how I was feeling and to make sure that I follow up in a week! Updated on 1 Jun 2018: Ok. So yesterday a lot of discomfort due to the incisions I guess trying to heal. My compression garment from Medico felt like it was sticking to me making getting up and down a chore. Otherwise still no pain pills. Updated on 2 Jun 2018: I am no longer draining fluids... just SWOLLEN!!! I was out of the house all day and I feeling every stitch in my garment... I haven't taken anymore photos because I am waiting on progress!

So far excellent. My surgery date is now just days away; March 15th at 9:30am and I couldn't be more excited. I am getting 550cc saline implants, under the muscle. I went in for my preop appointment on March 6th where I got to try on sizers and fell in love with 550cc. My plan is to avoid that boobie greed I have read so much about by getting enough the first time, plus i want this to be my one and only surgery. On the day of my preop appointment Jennifer; the only one working made me feel so at ease and showed extreme patience as I went back and forth with sizes. She did it ALL including blood work, taking pictures, answering phones, taking care of another client and still remained sweet and attentive, LOVE her. She measured me at 14.5cm, I showed her my goal picture and she helped me land on the best size to achieve that result. My fear well better yet worry is that since Dr. Lonergan was not present for the preop he would have a different opinion since he measured me at 12.5cm at my consultation. Jennifer said coming up with different measurements happens and I should be fine but just in case ordered in addition to what I wanted a sizer and 425cc. She gave me instructions for what to do on the night before surgery, told me to purchase a Bali double support bra 3820; I bought two. Updated on 17 Mar 2018: Day of surgery comes and I'm a ball of nerves. I met the two anesthesiologist Dr. Emerson and Dr.Brooks both were kind as I told them my fear of getting the tube down my throat. (Yes, my big fear was not being cut open it was the tube. Lol) I digress. They kindly explained that i would be asleep and would not know it had been there except for a scratchy throat afterwards. Scratchy was an understatement, to me I sound like Patty and Selma from The Simpsons. I digress again lol. Soon after Dr. Lonergan comes in and I am ecstatic to see a familiar face. He talked to me about the size I chose 650cc and how he could do an overfill on the implant but, would make a safe determination on what was best during surgery keeping my goal, end result, and safety all in mind. Makes sense to me. I ended up with 600cc and I am in love. He then made markings and asked if I had anymore questions to which I had none. I was ready. Nurse Nancy came in and gave me a cocktail, not a fun one it consisted of 3 Tylenol, 1 Oxycotin... and some other things... sorry I forgot. It was to help with pain after surgery. She also started an iv drip with my antibiotics and medicine that made me sleepy. Anesthesiologist returned and asked if I was ready to rock? I said lets roll... i fell asleep. When I woke up had a feeling as if I drank too much. Don't remember much. Dr. Lonergan called me that night to check on me and I asked about the bandages which he said I could remove after 24hrs and have a shower. He told me to call the office to make my follow up which I did and that's for monday at 6:30. I'm so pleased with everything. He and his team are the best.

After gaining 50 lbs with each pregnancy and working hard to lose the baby weight, I was not happy with my proportions. I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but not my pre-pregnancy shape. I did a lot of research and decided that liposuction of the abdomen, flanks and back with fat transfer to the buttocks would help me get my body back. Many providers call this the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure. I did more research into choosing a surgeon. I decided to work with Dr. Ian Lonergan of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Wilmington, Delaware. I could not have made a better choice. Dr. Lonergan and his team are exceptional. He is knowledgeable and honest. He made it clear that I would have a contoured and sculpted shape, but I should not expect to come out looking like Kim K. I appreciate his cautious and caring manor. I am very happy with my results! Can't wait for the swelling to go down and see things get even better. (writing this a couple days post op)

Dr.Lonergan has a very caring,and easy going personality. In my experience (and I have been a patient of the office for 16 yrs!) he goes over procedures and sizes per your own frame in depth. It's a quality not many plastic surgeons possess. Most want you to do more so you spend more, he really has the patients best interest in mind! I would recommend Dr.Lonergan and staff over any surgeons out there. Lastly, it is truly a family! They treat you like a member of their family.... that's important when your taking that first big step into augmentation of your body. I fully trust Dr and staff as my family! I love them all for guiding me to the best "enhancement " for me. Please give them a call and see what I and many others see.

The girls who work in Dr. Lonigan's office are very professional and very good especially Juliet and Marietta. They are very competent and know what they're doing. I would highly recommend Dr. Lonigan and his team.

He was so concerned with doing my procedures because of my past circumstances were. I had a kidney transplant two years previously. He was so thorough in making sure my health was not going to be a risk. I am so happy with the outcome and how caring the WHOLE ENTIRE office was... I would highly recommend this practice :)
