I recently underwent a rhinoplasty procedure performed by Dr. Cote, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the post-op care, Dr. Cote and his team were exceptional. Dr. Cote listened attentively to my concerns and desires, and he helped me achieve the nose of my dreams. The results far exceeded my expectations, and I am incredibly thankful for his professionalism and expertise. My only regret is not undergoing this transformation sooner. I am a 30-something year old male and for as long as I've been able to grow a beard, I have had one due to my genetically weak chin, overbite, and under-chin fat. It has bothered me for years that I couldn't have a clean shaven face without sporting 2 or 3 extra chins. After reading many reviews in the Denver area, I decided to get a consultation with Dr. Cote at Faces First. Throughout the process both he and his amazing right-hand woman Julie made me feel comfortable while also providing straightforward solutions to my problems. After taking initial photographs, Dr. Cote used some photo manipulation to give a projected before and after comparison, as well as what the process would be and a quote for the service. There were financing options available, and I never felt pressure towards committing one way or another. In fact, I took a month or two to hem and haw and look at finances before calling Julie back and scheduling the appointment. Leading up the appointment Faces First was very helpful in giving me pre-op instructions, medications, and helpful strategies. They called a few times to check in and offer assistance in answering my questions, which was very nice indeed. Day of the procedure went off without a hitch. Everyone knew their roles and responsibilities which facilitated a smooth transition from intake and into post-op. Dr. Cote stopped by before my anesthesia was administered to check in as well as make some markings and measurements, also offering words of encouragement. After the procedure I was sent home with more care information, and was contacted by both Faces First and the hospital to check up on me and offer answers to any questions I may have regarding the post-op care and recovery. Today was one week out from my procedure, where I had my follow-up appointment for check on progress as well as remove my sutures. The whole office was so supportive and ecstatic to see that the results were already immensely better than expected. Dr. Cote came in to check on the healing process, check nerve numbness, and see how things were coming along. He remarked that the procedure was a stellar success and took photos right then and there, saying it'll get even better over the next month. I had a great experience with dr Cote for a Septorhinoplasty back in December 21 but continue to be happy with my result. He listened to the outcome I wanted and I had a very natural result. He schedules many post op sessions to make sure everything is healing correctly and even addressed some concerns with simple rasping. He has great bedside manner and was very informative during our meetings, if I had to chose again I would always go back to Dr Cote!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr Cote and his staff! Dr Cote is a brilliant surgeon! I had 4 botched surgeries over the course of 30 years. The left side of my nose had completely collapsed to where I couldn’t breathe at all. He was able to rebuild my entire nose from the septum up using cadaver rib and my own ear cartilage. I am able to breathe normally again after 30 years. My nose looks better than it ever did, this has changed my life! Thanks again for your expertise and kindness through the whole process. Nearing 9 months postop and I couldn't be happier! In April 2019, I had septo-rhinoplasty with Dr. Cote in addition to extensive sinus surgery with his partner, my ENT Dr. Cutler, including turbanite reduction and cavity drainage. I've suffered with chronic sinusitis since I can remember so surgery was suggested after all other resources were exhausted. Once set, I decided to enquire about Dr. Cote's cosmetic practice, Faces First, and I am so glad I did. I knew I was in great hands as I had seen Dr. Cote a few times for previous sinus infections and I knew he was double board-certified in Otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery. He is incredibly professional and personable and his expertise and skill produced my very natural best result. I developed a rather prominent dorsal hump during my youth and have wanted a straighter profile since then. He did exactly what I had asked. I feel now that my nose fits my face and I am very grateful for his work. Dr. Cote's assistant Liz was incredibly helpful throughout the process as were both Danelle and Darryl in reception. I also had the pleasure of having a microdermabrasion facial with Kimberly 5 weeks after cast removal. Both office locations, Denver and Lone Tree, are fantastic. With all I had done, I was back to work in 13 days. My bruising and swelling were minimal. Dr. Cote gave me Vita Medica's Arnica Montana caps which I started taking a week prior and I purchased more in addition as well as their external gel, Arnica and K. I also purchased quercetin and bromelain from the site. I do believe these supplements aided tremendously in my recovery, in addition to icing. I iced just as I was told, and a nurse in the recovery area suggested I fill gloves with peas which worked very well. (The operation took place at Harvard Park Surgery Center; I thought everything went well there and my anesthesiologist was wonderful.) The first 5 days were rough just as I was told they would be. Minimal pain but tons of sinus pressure. Dr. Cote warned me that the 5th day would be the worst and I do remember it being pretty unpleasant so I was appreciative of the info. I slept in a seated upright position for longer than I needed to (past 6 weeks) as I didn't want to ruin my results. Sleeping in that position was hard for me so I was grateful to be off work those first two weeks. My cast was removed 8 days after surgery. Liz did an amazing job, she was very gentle and thorough. I immediately felt better as I could finally breathe through my nose. And once I looked at the results, I thought I'd start crying. Yes, I was swollen just like I knew I would be, but I could already tell that it was perfect. Really similar to my morphs. I told some people that I was having it done and all have been impressed with my results. Some people didn't know I had anything done and I was grateful for that as I really wanted to have the most natural result possible. I've seen Dr. Cote a few times for postop visits and I believe he is happy with my results. I know I technically have another 9 months until final results but I feel so positive at this point and am already beyond happy, which is an understatement. Both the aesthetic and medical issues I was having have been remedied so my quality of life has greatly improved. I hope next week's postop visit goes as smoothly as the others. I had a rhino plasty, turbanite reduction in 2015. I cannot recommend Dr. Cote enough. Excellent work, very professional, not only can I breathe again but my nose looks amazing. I wish every picture could be in profile.

Dr. Cote is fantastic!! I would highly recommend this practice. His professionalism and good nature keep me coming back. The front office staff are very friendly and are more than willing to answer any questions you may have regarding treatments and procedures.

Initially, I was nervous, but Dr. Cote and his knowledgeable staff made me feel comfortable by answering all my questions. The surgery and recovery time was shorter than I expected, and my close friends have all complemented my new and improved nose. The difference isn't huge, but to me it is a noticeable improvement. I couldn't be happier with my nose surgery results.

I have been a patient of Faces First for many years and have had rhinoplasty surgery, botox, mixto and IPL treatment of my legs. I absolutely love my rhinoplasty results and am happy to report that along with improving my looks, my breathing is also greatly improved. My son who had his nose injured several times due to playing contact sports also had rhinoplasty surgery with Dr. Cote, not to improve his looks but to improve his breathing and correct a severely deviated septum. Dr. Cote goes above and beyond to listen, treat and care for his patients. His surgical skills and bedside manner are outstanding.

I am 41 years old and underwent radiation to my right cheek/neck region for cancer 2 years ago which caused accelerated aging on the right side. I am high risk for complications from any procedure on my face as a result. Dr. Cote and his team have expertly and cautiously been guiding me through treatments to help repair the damage (and address the usual aging issues a 41 year old woman has????). He felt Skin PRN with PRP would be gentle enough and low risk for complications. I had Skin Pen with PRP done today. Dr. Cote also injected PRP under my eyes to address dark under eye circles and into a badly damaged area on my right jowl area. The process was simple. EMLA (numbing cream) applied all over the face to numb for the procedures. Then one easy blood draw to obtain the PRP. Next, PRP injections under the eyes and into my right cheek. I have to admit the under eye injections were painful (and I have a high pain tolerance). Then onto skin pen. The PRP is applied on your skin and the skin pen is run over the top of it. The Skin Pen was not painful. I definitely have swelling under my eyes similar to the swelling I had when I had filler injected under my eyes. A bit of swelling in my right cheek as well. Mild stinging feeling On my face and tight as the PRP has dried on my skin. I left with the PRP drive on my face and instructed to sleep with it and not touch my face or apply anything until morning. Was given a hyaluronic gel to apply in the morning after cleansing. So far no bruising but I did take Arnica tablets and bromelain tablets five days prior to my procedure. Definitely glad I did not have to go back to work. If you washed the PRP off right after the procedure and did not have the under eye injections I think you would be fine to go right back to work ( but why would you want to wash off his liquid gold on your face). Updated on 26 Feb 2016: So significant swelling under both eyes and on my right check all from the PRP injections. This is typical for me as I have impaired lymphatic drainage from radiation. My forehead is quite red as she treated it with 2 passes of the Skin Pen. I definitely would not go to work this way but I am an atypical case due to my radiation history. So far I am relieved that my damaged skin has handled the procedure. Now I just need to ensure all the swelling resolves and I don't get a soft tissue infection (which I am at a much higher risk for because of my damaged lymphatics on the right side of my face). I am hoping to serve as a "N of 1 study" to show that those of us who have survived cancer and the ravages of treatment can safely undergo these procedures to correct some of the damage. BTW- I paid $1500 for 3 Skin Pen/PRP treatments.l including the injections. Updated on 2 Mar 2016: So went back to work on post- procedure day 4. Only a tiny bit of bruising and swelling remain. Now need to wait 3 weeks to 3 months for final results. Updated on 5 Mar 2016: So today is 9 days post procedure. I definitely see some improvement in my forehead lines, under eye wrinkling and peri-oral wrinkles. Unfortunately, no change in the area of radiation damage yet. I did some reading in the dermatology literature that recommends avoiding antiinflammatory medications for two weeks after collagen-induction therapy as it may reduce results as it is the inflammatory response that is spurring new collagen production. Dr. Cote didn't mention that to me so not sure how important it is but I did stop my daily curcumin and ginger suppleness as a result and won't take any ibuprofen. Updated on 5 Mar 2016: I was able to resume retin-A and vitamin C on day three. As long as I use a humidifier every night, my extremely dry skin has been able to handle almost daily application. My skin is also noticeably softer, smoother and my pore size has decreased. Updated on 19 Mar 2016: So three weeks out now- the earliest I should be seeing any results and I'm not seeing anything yet. The early improvements I appreciated on day 9 were likely related to swelling and have disappeared. The PRP injected under my eyes was to help diminish dark circles and I'm not seeing results there yet either. It's still very early in the process and I need 2 more treatment before I can make any final decisions. Scheduled for my second treatment in April. Updated on 28 Apr 2016: Second round today went pretty well. I waited 8 weeks in between treatments. I have only noticed a subtle difference overall after one treatment. I don't notice any difference yet from the PRP injected under my eyes to conceal dark circles. Dr. Cote told me today it may take up to 8 weeks to see improvement in the undereye circles. The MA had difficulty drawing my blood for the PRP but I am a hard stick. I have to admit the price of PRP is maddening to me as it is your own serum they are simply drawing, spinning down and applying to your face. It should be cheap! Regardless, as my radiated skin handled the last treatment so well my esthetician felt comfortable doing a more aggressive treatment. I believe she used 1.5-2mm needles depending on the region. I had less bleeding but still significant redness (like a severe sunburn). I also had mild swelling on the radiated side of my face. It took about 7 days for the redness to completely fade after my last treatment. People commented that I looked like I had "gotten a little sun". As I did after the first treatment, I worked a half day on Thursday and took Friday off to heal. I'm optimistic that I'll see more significant improvements after treatments 2 and 3! Updated on 29 Apr 2016: Still quite red with a bit of swelling (I didn't have the PRP injected this time so no bruising and much less swelling overall). VERY dry. Washed my face and put the hyauronic acid/peptide gel on that was provided followed by Skinmedica TNS moisturizer. Sitting next to my humidifier this morning. Updated on 29 May 2016: So I'm now 3 months out from my first treatment and a month out from the second. I have to say I am THRILLED! The area of wrinkling from radiation damage in my jowl area is about 80% improved. Please note- part of the improvement in this area is due to Restylane silk injections and 6 units of Botox too . (The Botox in the area made an HUGE difference BTW). The improvement under and around my eyes is all skin pen though. I am up for my last treatment in 3 weeks. I am so thankful to Dr. Cote for being willing to experiment on my "risky skin". He's injected PRP, filler and Botox into the damaged area and it has worked!!! Updated on 11 Jun 2016: Last treatment done on Thursday. My Aestetician Tina went ahead and did the deepest 2mm treatment on most of my face (except forehead). She feels the skin on the radiated side of my face is nearly equal in appearance now! My skin tolerated the deepest treatment exceedingly well. I have some very dry/peeling patches in the damaged areas. I had extra PRP left over this time so applied it every hour or so after the treatment until it was gone. Will likely just do annual treatments now unless I decide to do some isolated treatments just to the jowel area I am so self-conscious about. I have to say the Botox to the jowel area made a significant difference in the wrinkling when I pucker or talk. I will definitely be repeating it! I'll post final pics of this experience in 6-12 weeks. So far--- expensive process but WORTH IT!???? Updated on 25 Feb 2018: In reviewing this experience I don’t feel the PRP is worth the cost. I feel I received the same or better results from filler injections (for both my eyes and radiated area) and I’m not sure the topical application offers any benefit. That being said, I do continue with the microneedling without PRP every 6 months as I feel it improves overall texture and fine lines. For the advanced aging in the radiated area I’ve seen great results from a combo of a TON of filler, microneedling and Botox!
