I saw Dr Gidon a few weeks ago for a consultation for Fraxel. I paid $100 for the consultation which is applied to the cost of the service should you move forward with it. She was very detailed oriented, asking me about my routine and my skin concerns. I suffer from rosacea and she offered up a new prescription for me which is working out quite well. The staff are very approachable, even with Covid but they take appropriate per cautions and she personally checks your vaccination documents. I decided to go forward with a half face fraxel session (my forehead is fine) and went this morning. The nurse was lovely but I can’t lie it hurts! Obviously too early to tell but will update. Dr Gidon came in to ensure I was fine, they also gave me a 20% discount, clear instructions for post care. Her practice is focused on cosmetic dermatology but I did not feel any pressure to purchase anything and was simply informed of their current 20% off promotion. Updated on 17 Oct 2021: Well its been 5 days and I would say I’m 90% healed just a bit red and some flakey skin, note I have very sensitive skin. As of today it can be covered by makeup, I can already see improvement so I’m pretty happy. I would say you need to plan for 5 days of down time. I was very nervous after reading some reviews on here and mentioned this to the nurse who did my treatment. She mentioned that poor results are usually due poorly trained/inexperienced practitioners and second hand equipment which is not being properly serviced and does not come with follow up training. So be very careful who you go with. Updated on 22 Oct 2021: I’m still healing, redness, dry skin at outer edges of my face and small breakout on my chin. The good news is a can see definite softening of lines. At this point I’m completely comfortable going out WITH makeup on. Will continue to go heavy with moisturizer.

I highly recommend getting Fraxel with Dr. Gidon. I've had Fraxel for both my face and neck. I wanted a treatment that could reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and improve my skin tone and texture -- and with Fraxel, I was so happy that I was able to notice these changes! I would only get Fraxel done at Dr. Gidon's office because I am so confident in the abilities of her very experienced technicians. Definitely worth pursuing!

I'd been wanting to improve the crepey skin and fine lines under my eyes. I'm so glad that Dr. Gidon suggested micro-needling with PRP injections because there has been a noticeable improvement! I think that the visible benefits of this treatment, and all of my treatments with Dr. Gidon, are augmented by only using the most high quality skin care products -- and I purchase these from her clinic (Neo-Cutis, Universkin, Skin Better Science, and Teoxane, among others). Maintenance is important, so use the best products! I definitely recommend this treatment and these amazing products.

I was so impressed to see the unbelievable measures Dr. Gidon and Gidon Aesthetics has taken to ensure that patients and staff are safe and protected during COVID times. Before you even walk into the office, the safety protocols and screening is evident: You are greeted at the door by a staff member equipped in a mask and face shield. You clean your hands with sanitizer and your forehead temperature is taken as you answer screening questions. You are given booties to cover your shoes. The waiting room is empty and impeccably clean. Plexiglass covers the front desk. I felt so comfortable in the treatment room because of the masking, cleaning, and extra safety precautions Dr. Gidon has taken.

My rosacea cleared up by at least 80% under Dr. Gidon's care. I went to her seeking an IPL treatment, which I'd done in the past. However instead of just selling me expensive treatments, she explained I needed to get my breakouts under control with a prescription before IPL would work, something other dermatologists did not do. 6 months later I looked like a new woman. I then got IPL at her clinic and it was worth it. This kind of respect for patients is priceless and is what will keep me going back.

It makes so much sense! PRP (platelet rich plasma) has been used for years by injured athletes to accelerate their healing process. So of course PRP should be used for the face! I've had this procedure several times and it is awesome. It's nice to know that it's your own blood, so it's natural. Your blood is drawn and then spun to isolate the plasma (highly concentrated). Then the liquid is microneedled into your skin so that that the PRP can penetrate into the skin. PRP helps with fine lines, skin tightening, and stimulating collagen, among other things. Thumbs up! :)

I highly recommend getting a regular chemical peel at Gidon Aesthetics and MediSpa. It is so quick and yet so effective. It helps make my skin look smoother and younger looking. It helps with skin discoloration and lines. Definitely worth it!
