Choosing a Dr.- Dr. Ashjian was recommended to me by another Dr. , he along with two other Plastic Surgeons. I had gone to a few different consultations before meeting Dr. Ashjian. I left those other consultations feeling unsure. One Dr I had even seen twice! And still did not feel comfortable and was starting to feel discouraged. Finally my consultation appt with Dr. Ashjian had arrived, it was amazing how comfortable I felt with him and when I left that first visit, I knew this procedure was finally going to happen and he was the man for the job. Dr. Ashjian came across very normal and natural. He didn't have some commercialized presentation. His observations and words were real and honest. He took his time with me during my two consultation visits before surgery. He answered my questions fully and didn't give me the rushed short version. I was finally feeling excited about this big decision. I too did my research on the procedures I was looking to have done and also on Dr. Ashjian. I was relieved to find only positive things about him. Surgery & P.O.- I had surgery 5mnths ago. Everything went well. My awesome results are a testament to his skills. I had surgery on a Wednesday, he stopped by my hotel room on Thursday to check on me, then I was on my way home to recover. I have been extremely thankful that my body has responded well to this procedure, but I am even more thankful to have chosen the right Dr. Dr. Ashjian staff was great as well. Very nice and personable. I enjoyed the kindness of Katherine and being able to relate with Erica. The only thing, maybe if there were an assistant for his office manager. It seems like a two person job. It is a little hard to get through sometimes when there is only one person your able to speak to. Which makes for a terrible morning for a frantic patient=-p

I love my doc so far. He does speak very fast and move very quickly but I'm sure that's because his schedule is jam packed. He is very informative and has a kind disposition. I liked him as soon as I met him. I will update this as I get closer to the final result.
5 out of 5 stars Breast Reconstruction
From the very beginning I felt very comfortable with Dr. Ashjian and his assistant Erica. All my questions were answered and the plan was set in motion! Surgery on Feb 4,2014 for a bilateral Breast Mastectomy. It didn't go as planned but I still have confidence that my final surgery will be the outcome I hope for! Revision scheduled for the late October, early November. A little tweaking needed and also my right breast nipple! I like the fact that he sees patients in two locations. Encino Breast Care Center, and his Glendale office - 240 S Jackson Dr, Glendale, Ca 91205 Suite 109 I Reccomended him to anyone who needs body plastic surgery... Amazing results!
