After hearing from numerous people about Dr. Jim Romano, I got up the nerve for a consultation. The humanity and artistry were evident - he takes delight in the beauty he sees will come.

I found Dr. James Romano on the internet way back in 2003 or 2004. I didn't even know that "nipple reduction surgery" existed until then. I was very impressed with the before and after photos on his website. I went in for my first consultation even though I didn't do the surgery at that time. I actually forgot to send him a thank you letter and I didn't have time to fly back up to San Francisco for the post op. That's why I am doing this review. You will be in good hands with an honest, compassionate and super talented surgeon. He will exceed your expectations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Dr. Romano - and yes I'm still going to get around to writing a thank you letter to you and your staff!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Dr R is definitely the best! He is on top of things even after the procedure. He would set me up with follow appointments, etc. I strongly recommend him.

I would recommend him, hes kind and he did a good job of fixing my tuberous breasts. Im just unsatisfied and confused with the little bit of size difference im experiencing, especially since he could obviously see it and discussed it with me...

So far he has been great. The consultation was very informative and his staff is very courteous and prompt. Inga always calls me back quickly and answers all my questions. She's great. I'll add more after surgery! Surgery went well. The staff at the surgical center were great. Everyone made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Surgery took 2.5 hours instead of 3 which is great. My follow-up appointment went well. Dr. Romano said I am healing quickly and answered all my questions. He and his staff are very professional. I am more than happy with my surgery and the professionalism of him and his staff. I would recommend him to all my friends and family and if I ever need (want) another surgery I would definitely see Dr. Romano again. I also wanted to add that Kathryn, the nurse, is awesome too. She called me back on a Friday night when I was worried about my stitches and always reassures me that I'm healing well. I'm really happy that I went to see Dr. Romano. He's worth every penny!!

Theory and Practice of Liposuction by James J. Romano, MD INTRODUCTION Liposuction was first introduced in Paris by Dr. Giorgio Fischer, a gynecologist, who used a suction machine to remove fat from some of his patients after performing a D&C. Four years later a French plastic surgeon by the name of Dr. Yves-Gerard Illouz was the first to utilize the technique in a purely cosmetic way. It worked well and was quickly investigated by a group of American doctors...
