Lost 150 pounds. @ age 60 too much loose skin, especially under chin, (big flap) a nd huge flaps under both upper arms. WOW! So inspired now, I am working out with weights building arms up, very motivated with the new me. Makes me want more! (More good health, more desire to stick with my program)!

My after pictures are very soon after surgery. I'm still swollen and sore (numb), but this gives you an idea.

It's the little things that you don't think of until you experience the moment. When I was -350+ I couldn't do a simple thing like file my toe nails. When I did loose the weight, I really appreciated being able to do those little things. As time passed, those chores became routine, but I was really annoyed with file motion, back and forth, back and forth, quick short motion, the skin on my arms would just flap back and forth, so very annoying! Well, I just filed my nails and after surgery from Dr Larry and me working the muscles, there was no wiggle! No flapping! Now I can where short sleeve shirts again! It's only been since Aug 14, and I feel like my arms are like 30 years younger. :) Can't put a price on that. So if your worried about the cost, when it's over and done, instead of driving that new car I thought I'd be driving, I'm Downgrading to a scooter, and paying the money to MYSELF! Ha ha

Just saw Dr Pollack today. Everything going great. Such a great support team. Makes me worry for people going abroad for their procedures. You need to have access to your surgeon. Very important as the healing takes months. Please consider these things when making your decision. My main goal was to form a relationship with my Dr. and staff. Here's some more pictures. My next surgery is end of January.

Hi folks! It is now end of Feb. After my surgery in August I healed and then 5 months after that on January 28, I had two more procedures done. Now I have some pictures for you. Again, I'm 60 years old, carrying 150lbs extra most of my life. I peaked at 360. I'm only 5'10. The chart says I should weigh 175. I carry 200well because of my chest and shoulders. I loaded airplanes all my life, and have always been pretty strong. When I turned. I smoked all my life, and was on all kinds of meds. Heart pills, blood thinners, sleep apnea, copd, oxygen, the list goes on and on. So now, five years later, after a very long and determined path, I have lost 150 lbs, 5years of not smoking, I am proud to say, I take only one pill every day. 40mg of fluoxetine, and that's because these surgeries prevent me from exercises that normally work for my depression. Anyway, my first procedure was face -(neck) and arm.. this surgery was for belly now. I feel like I had abs, but so much skin, makes the victory of losing the weight a little bittersweet. Here are some before pictures of my belly. The after pictures will also get here.
