I actually enjoy the overall appearance of my face for once. Finally!

I had my nose for 39 years. It was fine, but I was tired of it. I researched for years trying to find the doc who would change my face and then I met Dr Clark. He is professional and confident. The consult was extremely detailed and thorough. I booked my surgery that day. The actual surgery part was fine, but let me just say, recovering from surgery is a process, especially when it's on your face. There's a series of swelling that happens for MONTHS, and it's trippy to look in the mirror and not recognize the face you see. They tell you the healing of the rhinoplasty can be a year. Believe it. I'm posting this 5 star review 10 months after surgery because my nose and chin continue to look better. Dr Clark delivered the results I wanted and then some! I actually enjoy the overall appearance of my face for once. Finally! Updated on 13 Jan 2022: Don’t forget that the swelling can cause strange emotions at times. Give the swelling a chance to disappear before making a final judgment ! Updated on 13 Jan 2022:

Revision Rhinoplasty and Chin Augmentation: I'm just protecting my nose like it's made of gold right now!

So I got a primary rhinoplasty from another doctor in 2005. About 2 months post-op my nose suffered a trauma that caused a piece of cartilage to become loose and twisted in the center of my nose. It distorted my nostrils and caused a very odd profile. My columella was droopy and you could see inside my nostrils. At first, I didn't have the heart to endure all this surgery stuff again, but soon life got in the way and 15 years later I finally addressed the problem.I decided to find a nearby doctor that specialized in revision rhinoplasty. My expectations were extremely low, to be honest. I just wanted to breathe better and not have dents in my nose. I chose Dr. Richard Clark in Sacramento, CA. He recommended that since I have a "weak chin" I should also get a chin implant. At 41 I have been feeling as though I'm developing jowls, so I opted to have the augmentation in conjunction with the revision. I had my surgery 11 days ago and am worried about the chin because of the swelling, but my nose so far has exceeded my expectations! I'm just protecting my nose like it's made of GOLD right now! Updated on 7 Apr 2021: Just kinda logging what I'm going through here. I'm very nervous about the chin implant. I can't lie. The swelling makes my face look strange and I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to move my mouth normally. My nose is swollen so it's wider than I want it to be. It's frightening to look at yourself and not really look like YOU! I know it's gonna all be ok, but I'm scared right now ????! I have to relearn how to talk and find my new good photo angles. Updated on 14 Apr 2021: Most of the swelling is down at this point. My black eyes are gone, and while I love the shape of my nose, it still feels very wide. I saw Dr Clark today and he told me that he made my nose even more narrow than it was previously, which I'm really excited about. I never thought I could have a petite, straight little nose. I decided that I wanted to remove the chin implant. Dr. Clark recommended that in wait to fully see results because it apparently takes a very long time for the swelling to go down, but I am choosing to proceed with the removal. Just going to put my personal feelings down here and hopefully they'll help SOMEONE who may be on the fence. Trust me when I say , you think you don't like your face till it doesn't look like your face. I miss my chin. The nose and the chin being different turns me into someone I don't recognize, and even if the whole world thinks it looks better, I still feel uncomfortable looking at myself and not recognizing who's looking back at me. Chin augmentation is a pretty long healing process. My mouth is altered from it. Talking is a struggle. You don't smile the same for a while. My bottom lip is sucked into my mouth when I laugh or smile. I feel as though I look like my face was partially paralyzed. The reason I SHOULDN'T have done it is because I actually liked my chin before. If you like your chin and it's proportionally "off", then leave that chin alone! I want to state that I'm SUPER HAPPY with the side profile I currently have, and can't wait to see everything when the swelling goes down! Dr Clark did such a good job! Updated on 5 May 2021: I paid for anesthesia and Dr Clark removed the implant for me in less than 1 hour. Besides the swelling all coming back and my mouth becoming more dysfunctional, it was pretty painless. I'm still looking a bit strange and my mouth is crooked, but I'm very happy to be moving closer to my old chin. Updated on 14 May 2021: So I'm not sure why, but my nose has been moving to the left side and is now extremely HARD and twisted and I'm PANICKING. I'm a bartender in a strip club and at 41 Im surrounded by 21 year Olds and I feel like I'm hideous. My mouth is still not working correctly and this fat, twisted nose is really messing with my head. My chin is still swollen which doesn't help. I wish I had the luxury of recovering in private, but I need my job and my job needs me.

I had a rhinoplasty done by doctor Clark on March 13. I was in love with the side profile right away but I felt like an avatar from the front. It’s been just over a month now and it’s looking great! Dr. Clark did a wonderful job and spent a lot of time on me during our consultations. I wanted write this review for anyone freaking out over their nose right away like I was and tell them it’s probably swelling and it will be ok, my nose is still changing every day for the better! Updated on 22 Apr 2019: I just wanted to add this before and after because this is my favorite part about my new nose! My nose was so crooked that it looked huge from one side and totally fine from the other giving me a really bad side and good side, now I feel comfortable from every angle.

Chin Augmentation/Implant

Result better than what I envisioned. I recently had chin augmentation surgery with Dr. Richard P. Clark in Sacramento CA. In my initial appointment with Dr. Richard P. Clark we discussed how the surgery was to be performed, what to expect after surgery, and also designed a realistic estimate of how my chin was to look by altering before pictures taken in office the same day. Dr. Richard P. Clark and his staff, Mirna and Jolie were all very helpful and professional and I can confidently state that I chose that best place to go through with chin augmentation surgery because of how knowledgeable and attentive everyone was. Currently it’s been a few weeks after surgery and most of the swelling has faded. The scar which is in an area under the chin precisely placed were it be the least visible is also hardly noticeable. I’m very pleased with the result of my chin implant surgery and even though the result is very dramatic it is also very natural looking and has definitely been a confidence booster.

Great doctor

I did rhinoplasty with Dr. Clark twice. Changing the nose was a bit scary for me. When Dr. Clark suggested rotating my tip up i was too scared to go too high. I decided to make it go up just a bit. i really didnt want too look like michael jackson nose. After a year of initial surgery i realized I really should have listened to Dr. Clark in the first place ! i went in the second time and I am extremly pleased with the result. He really knows the NOSE. He knows how to make your nose to fit your face and look nice and pretty. When the surgery day arrives the staff in the operating center including Dr Clark are very caring and attantive . also the two ladies working with Dr Clark are very warm and friendly. I feel i made a great choice when I decided to go with Dr Clark for my rhinoplasty!

I had a really good experience

Dr Clark is an amazing doctor that created a new beautiful nose for me. From the first consultation I trusted him completely. He talked in details about my nose transformation and photoshopped it for me as well - so I’d have an idea of how it will look like. After the surgery he was very communicative , I could reach him by phone always if I needed help. He is funny as well. I had a really good experience and can’t thank him enough

Always hated my nose but not anymore!!

Each and every one of my visits with Dr. Clark was pleasant and thorough. I cannot say enough good things about him. I knew he was the right surgeon for me from the moment I met him. I had not one but two over an hour consultations with him (only because it took almost a year to get the funds all together) which is just unheard of anywhere else. I found this so reassuring and settling. All of my questions were answered so that I felt completely comfortable choosing him and moving forward with my surgery. I trusted him whole heartedly which made the whole process so much easier! I had my surgery at the end of November 2016 and as I expected, I was thrilled with my results the moment the splint came off! A few months later I did develop a little extra cartilage/scar tissue on one side so we elected to do a minor tip revision which was just done at the end of October and I LOVE MY NOSE! It obviously has some more healing to do but we are both confident that it will turn out just as we both envisioned it would! If you are thinking about having a Rhinoplasty, look no further, you have found THE ONE! Thank you Dr. Clark and Staff!

Every Girl Deserves a Pretty Nose - Including Me!

Hello! I have been stalking this website for years and now it’s my turn. I’m so excited to begin this journey through the cosmetic world and hope for a big change. I’ve suffered through 2 decades of breathing problems and low self esteem and I’ve always thought that rhinoplasty/ septoplasty was the answer to all my problems. I guess I’ll find out soon! Updated on 9 Nov 2017: I’m so excited for next month! I’ve been messing around with plastic surgery simulator apps. Updated on 7 Dec 2017: Post op day2 Updated on 8 Dec 2017: So drugged up on pain meds can hardly type but here is post op day 2. Going to get packing removed tomorrow. Dr. Clark spent 5 hours on me in the operating room! That sounds crazy, but also gives me hope for a great turn out.  My whole face feels swollen from lips to forehead...so I’ve been living on OxyContin the last few days, getting lots of rest!! He said there was a load of issues that needed to be fixed that wasn’t apparent during my pre op appointment. Updated on 12 Jan 2018: I’m beyond ecstatic about my results! Dr. Clark really transformed my face. Here is 32 days post op. I notice little changes everyday :)

Wonderful results!

I had been self conscious of my nose since I injured it as a child and am so glad I went to Dr. Clark! He is an artist that spends ample time and effort with each of his patients. He reassured me every step of the way, answered all my questions, and did lots of check ups in the early stages of healing to ensure proper recovery. The swelling and bruising was unpleasant but now 8 weeks post-op I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Looking back at the pre and post-op images I can't believe the transformation and how similar it looks to the predicated images. Wish I would have done this for myself sooner. Thank you Dr. Clark!
