Hello! I’ll be sharing my breast augmentation experience with Dr. Taneja!
So, I originally called his Pasadena office around May 29th to schedule an in-person consultation for free. They gave me Sept. 13th, I took it.
After watching some reviews on YouTube, a girl mentioned having an online consultation done instead that costs $150, but that fee is applied to your overall surgery cost if you plan to go through with it. I already knew that I wanted this procedure done and was 100% set on having Dr. Taneja be my doctor, so I decided to give their office a call on June 2nd to request an online consultation vs in-person (due to the virus, they weren’t certain I would even be able to try on/touch sizers come Sept. anyways).
They had me email them this request and I received a payment form, small questionnaire, and photos request on the following day, June 3rd. I sent everything on over and I was surprised when I received a call from Dr. Taneja only two days later, on June 5th, at around 9:30 a.m.
We spoke and he suggested I go with 600cc overfilled to 650cc due to my height 5’8 and weight 150. I was a bit surprised hearing those numbers because based on the photos I saw, I thought 450-500cc looked good, but he said that those would be too small... I also have wide shoulders. He’s the professional so I said sure to his suggestion.
His consultant, Liz, called me that same day at around 6:30 p.m. to discuss the attachments she had emailed me, which were my quote ($4,499 for saline high profile under the muscle), an additional payment form for the remaining $350 that was due to lock in my date (deposit is $500), and some info on pre/post op, and implant insurance ($200 for 10 years). She told me that the soonest surgery date available was Jan. 13, 2021, so I took it... the sooner the better. That was it, I was booked.
I received a call on Monday, June 8, from a lady who was letting me know that the charge of $350 had been made to my debit card and confirmed my surgery date. I had mentioned to her that I wanted to be put on their waitlist so she put a note on my file.
I called the following morning, June 9th, to confirm if I was put into the waitlist since the funds had to be deducted from my account first in order to do so... I called at around 9:20 a.m. and was on hold for about 20 min., but I finally spoke to Claudia (soooo amazing!!!) and I mentioned wanting to be put on my waitlist because the sooner, the better and since I am teleworking right now, it would be perfect for me to recover from home. Well, I don’t know if I just got lucky or what but Claudia told me that there was a cancellation that morning for that Friday, June 12th. I immediately said yes, that I wanted it!
I have Kaiser insurance so I mentioned that to her and she said that they give their patients a hard time getting the medical clearance and labs so she recommended going to Advance Urgent Care down the street from their Pasadena office and that they could do everything for me for $150. I had heard that another girl with Kaiser had to be sent somewhere else to have two of her labs done so I knew I didn’t have time to run around from place to place since Claudia said I would have to get everything done that day. I called Advance and let them know I was heading over and once I got there, it took no more than 40 min.
I then headed to their Pasadena office to pay my remaining balance of $3,999 and also purchased my pre op bra $60.
I received a call from Advance on the following afternoon, June 10th, that my labs came back good and that the dr cleared me for surgery and that they were going to fax everything over to My Look. Liz called me on June 11th in the afternoon to go over my instructions and the do’s and dont’s and told me to check in at the Fountain Valley surgery center at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12th.
I literally spoke to Dr. Taneja one week prior and I would be having my surgery the following Friday... I was so happy!

As you can see... there was barely anything there before :( Nothing to fill in my low cut tops or bodysuits... sigh lol
Photos were taken the day of surgery in the morning.
Used to wear a 36C at Victoria’s Secret but obviously I wasn’t... more like an A cup.

A photo of me on my way to the surgery center... no bra and all flat..
Immediately after Dr. Taneja marked me up for 650 cc left and 660 cc right... excited!
As soon as I got back in the car only wearing my post op bra... you can already see the difference!!

Photo updates from day of surgery, 1 day, 2 days, and 3 days post op.
The bruising seen in day 3 in the cleavage area was never a dark bruise but a lift brown color and turned yellowish the following day... I feel like the arnica pills are helping speed up the process and limiting bruising...
I’m also applying stretch mark cocoa butter lotion once a day in the morning.

I went to my first post op check-up this morning at the Pasadena office and nurse Claudia was the one who assisted me. She ran her hands down the middle of my bruised cleavage and on the bottom, top, and sides. It did hurt but afterwards I didn’t feel as tense. She recommended that I apply arnica pomade to my bruised areas and that they would disappear within 2 days. She also showed me how to massage my breasts to help them soften up and drop. She adjusted my post op bra so that it fit me better and wasn’t digging into my upper abdomen, so it’s much more comfortable to wear! & I was wearing it on the 2nd clasp before, it’s now on the 3rd!! Lastly, she checked my incisions and removed the knots and showed me how small they are... she applied now tape and gave me the ok to take a full shower and get them wet and to remove the tapes within 7-10 days. :)

I’ve been so bloated the past couple days... I hate it! The norcos were making me constipated and although I liked them at first because obviously, they assisted with the pain and helped me to go to sleep, I no longer liked how they made me feel afterwards... so, I decided to stop taking them. On Sunday, 2 days post op, I started taking half a norco rather than one full pill and by Monday morning, I had taken my last one. It’s now Thursday, 6 days post op, and I feel much better. I had to take a laxative on Monday evening because the bloating was just too much. I literally looked pregnant and not only that, but my stomach was hurting and felt hard. I finally was able to use that restroom on Tuesday before my first check up and Claudia gave me more laxatives just in case. A girl recommended drinking coffee since that’s what helped her, so I did, and it did help me go! I was now only taking my antibiotics and muscle relaxers, but I’ve decided to stop taking the muscle relaxers as of yesterday, Wednesday, because I did see that constipation is a possible side effect. I don’t feel much muscle spasms anyways but I still get “morning boob” but I simply just massage them and they feel a bit better.
I’ve started applying arnica gel to my bruises as of yesterday afternoon, so I’m hoping I see a difference by the end of the weekend.

So yesterday 7/6 was my 3 week post op appointment at the Pasadena office. I was asked to complete a form with COVID related questions (similar or the same one that I completed on the day of my surgery) and my temperature was checked. Once I was called back, nurse Claudia checked me. She felt my boobs and explained that they were softening up nicely but that my right breast is sitting higher than my left and she showed me how I can massage it. She did mention that it can be due to my right hand being dominant. She checked my incisions and said that there were no more stitches and mentioned how my bruising has gone down significantly. I do still have slight bruising at the bottom left breast and swelling due to it but she mentioned just continuing to massage the area and it will subside in time. My next appointment isn’t until September and at which time I will see Dr. Taneja once again.
