5 out of 5 stars Breast Lift with Implants

Breast Lift and Implants - Modesto, CA

Show More I had a fantastic outcome with my surgery, and no problems what so ever with my healing process. I was careful to follow Dr Wu's postoperative instructions and took the prescribed medications as instructed. Even though I may have felt like I could return to my normal activities, I did exactly as I was told, and I feel that made my results so successful. I had postoperative pain as was expected, but it was manageable with the pain medications that I was prescribed. I appreciated the detailed explanations and instructions that I was given at my consultation appointment, and Dr Wu is very thorough and takes time to answer questions.

5 out of 5 stars Mommy Makeover

38 Yr Old Mother of 4 - Modesto, CA

Show More Dr. Tammy Wu is by the far the best PS ever! She explained in detail the process and helped guide me in making the most informed decision. I decided to get the "Mommy Makeover" Tummy Tuck, Lipo and breast augmentation with lift. The results were incredible. The surgery had complications (hernia) and still my results were incredible. She has checked on me from the day of surgery, to today. Adhering to her aftercare instructions, I haven't had ANY issues. I was able to return to work 10 days after surgery with strict limits. I didn't need pain meds after the 3 day. My body has healed incredibly. No infections, problems. Just beautiful results. Dr. Wu is skilled, caring, detailed and always there for her patients.

2 out of 5 stars Breast Lift with Implants

Mid 20s, Petite, Gave Birth to Twins Full Term. Modesto, CA

Show More I had implants and supposedly a breast lift done. I have had so many problems. I am 27 years old and have always been very healthy. I should not be going through this much pain. I expected to be going through some sort of healing process that would take about 6 weeks. But apparently it doesn't look like i'll be healing any time soon. My quality of life has been zero right now and i have had to rely on everyone to take care of me. I cant even take my kids to the park anymore because I am in too much pain and am just too tired all the time. Every time I talk to her on the phone or see her in person, it seems she keeps trying to point the finger at me. She actually told me that I must be doing something wrong and whatever I am doing, i need to stop! When i had a big sore that popped up out of no where, she just told me to put non stick gauze on it and didn't even prescribe me with antibiotics. During that time i was in so much pain. Now i have a terrible infection and I'm 95% sure its because of my first big open sore that was about the size of my thumb print. I feel like she should have taken me seriously instead of just acting like it was from a little suture and was no big deal. I think an infection could have been avoided. Yesterday, when i saw Dr. wu, i asked her about this little black mark on my infected areola. I wasn't sure what it was. She told me it was a suture coming out. After seeing a second doctor for a second opinion, i was told right away that it was necrosis. Now a day later, and my areola is falling apart. So it seems Dr. Wu doesn't seem to know what she is talking about. Knowing what i know now, i think i definitely would not have chosen to do this surgery or possibly would have chosen a different doctor. I would have saved myself so much pain and money. I don't have tons of money, so i scrimped and saved everything i had, hoping for a happier and more confident self. Instead, my confidence has dropped to zero. These open sores are terrible. And it makes me wonder what went on in that operating room. Also I'm pretty sure i only got a skin lift instead of an actual breast lift. When i first went to her, she told me she was going to give me a breast lift and and anchor my breast tissue down. Everything sounded awesome so i decided to go for it. After making my first payment i was told by the office staff that it was not possible to anchor the breast tissue down. So i decided since it's not possible, than that must be how breast lifts are performed and decided to go ahead with the surgery. However, Im finding out otherwise. Now, i have more stretch marks than i ever had because the skin lift is not enough to hold the weight. So as you can see I am not happy with what i have had to deal with at all and have some major regrets. Anyway, i will update more later. By the way, I should now add that I'm pretty sure that Dr. Wu has found out about my review, so lately she has been taking extra care of me. So I will give her that and update my ratings. I just wish I wasn't so confused about the breast lift that was done on me. This is as of Saturday May 16th

Show More I found this site and went to Dr. Christa Clark, I liked her but she was too far from my home. So I have been interviewing different Dr. and came upon Dr. Wu. She graduated from Brown's University with honors and her credentials, on paper at least, seem very impressive.
