I could not have had a better experience. Started with a virtual consult and concluded with a Quad Blepharoplasty and Endoscopic Brow Lift and CO2 laster. Dr. Zoumalan's entire staff was lovely and unpretentious, the surgery could not have gone better and his kindness was only outshined by his skill. On day 2 post-op I had a mild complication that I had been forewarned about -- eyeball swelling (Chemosis) and he immediately jumped into action and prescribed additional steroids, which resolved the issue in less than a day.

After doing research on different doctors and a after a few consultations, I decided to have an upper and lower blepharoplasty by Dr. Zoumalan. I am 110% satisfied with the result and the process, I could not be happier. When I look in the mirror I feel I see the eyes that I saw 15 years ago again. Dr. Zoumalan is incredibly professional, thorough and friendly with great bedside manner. The staff was also fantastic. And what I really appreciated was the follow through to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect after the surgery. And after talking to some of my other doctors about it I also found out that Dr. Zoumalan is the doctor that THEY refer to their patients seeking the same as well! As far as I'm concerned, this is the only doctor you should see if you're considering this type of procedure. A+++

Made a huge difference in eye hollowness. Doctor is an oculoplastic surgeon and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyes! There was definite swelling for a couple of days (which is normal) but it went away, and have had no concerns since then. Even filler and no lumps or bumps or puffiness.

Dr Christopher Zoulmalan and his staff are amazing. I suffered a bells palsy episode 20 years ago which weakened the Eye brow and lid muscles on the left side of my face. My eyes were becoming increasingly asymmetrical as one side drooped (Ptosis) and the other side --brow and lid raised to compensate for the droop! Ugh! Dr. Zoulmalan was very kind and sounded so competent and confident which was reassuring to me because having something done on my face, especially around my eyes, was scary! He did everything he said he would do and I am very happy with the outcome. -- he even loosened the muscle on the right brow to increase the results! He took the time to explain everything and also to make sure I had realistic expectations. I even had this done the week before Thanksgiving and he came into the office Thanksgiving morning a week later for my one-week post op appointment --- which especially appreciated because I live 50 miles from his office and there was no traffic that morning!!! .... oh and did I mention he is a perfectionist??!!!! Originally, I thought I had ptosis which caused my left eye appear to be much smaller than my right eye. So I found Dr. Zoumalan on Realself. His staff is really nice and immediately, they set me up for a skype consultation. It went well, I booked the surgery right away. The day before the surgery, I went in and Dr. Zoumalan did a careful measurement of my eyes, then he told me I don't have a ptosis, what I need is an Asian double eyelid surgery to remove some extra skin. I was so shocked at first, but he is REALLY gentle and caring. I decided to trust him and told him I want to have an epicanthoplasty as well to open the inner corner of my eyes ( this is a popular procedure in Asia countries). He said he is not comfortable with leaving a scar around my eyes, but he would try his best to remove the excess skin to reduce the distance of my eyes. The day of the surgery, I am very lucky to be the first patient. The staff even offered me a mint cake given me empty stomach. I did't feel much pain during the surgery (I have high pain tolerance though), the hard one is when he was doing some anesthesia and it hurt a little. After a while, I heard he saying, " This is perfect. This is perfect." (He is cute:D) I was of course really glad to hear that and he knew how stressed out I was, so he tried his best to calm me down and I appreciate that. I had a rhinoplasty scheduled with another doctor which happens to be his friend, he then made a call to tell my rhino doctor to be gentle with my eyes with the general anesthesia. (So sweet!) At first, I thought my eyelid is too large (due to the swelling), it didn't feel that natural for the first month, Dr. Zoumalan told me to be patient and wait for at least three months. And it did come down a lot! I absolutely LOVE my results! It looks so natural to me and everything has been healing well. He even managed to open the inner corner of my eyes without leaving any scars! What can I say? I couldn't be happier! I am always going to be grateful for finding Dr. Zoumalan and for going through this journey with him. He made such an impact on my life. Thanks, doctor! I have included a before/after photo, the top two are my previous eyes. It looks worse actually, I felt like I can't really open my left eye all the time. Hope my experience helps! Dr. Zoumalan is really an eyelid expert.

Nice doctor - took tons of time to analyze my face and features. Very pleased with results. Had botox on forehead and juvederm in temples. Had swelling for about 4 days and looked a little disproportioned :/ but love the results now.

The procedure itself was simple and lasted one hour and twenty minutes. I woke up and had no real pain, it felt like something was in my left eye poking me a little. I immediately took Tylenol with codeine and went home. I started icing 20 on 20 off the entire day except when I fell asleep at night. I wasn't tired or groggy, I didn't sleep at all that day following surgery. I had help assisting me with getting the ice and Tylenol because you don't want to strain and getting up so often and laying down to ice is strenuous. I used peas and corn. The corn was lighter In terms of Weight and I preferred that. There wasn't any pain... It was annoying because you have to have your eyes shut to ice and rest them and you can't watch tv or use your phone much so it is boring. That was the hardest part! After two days I felt like my eyesight was normal and it took 11 days for the numbness under my left eye to go away. I'm a few weeks out and still swollen and the bruising lasted a full two weeks. It looks good already even with the swelling and wayyyyy better than the bags I had before. It was easy in terms of pain level, hard in terms of boredom and hiding the black eyes.

It has only been 2 weeks after my surgery with Dr. Zoumalan and I am so thrilled with my results! My eyes look amazing!!! So much better than what I had expected---and my expectations where very high. It took me more than a year to research for the right surgeon and I had consultations with the best doctors in London, New York, Seattle and Los Angeles, but after the fist consultation with Dr. Zoumalan, I knew he is the right surgeon for me. He is a perfectionist at what he does and his staff is so professional and friendly. Everyone makes you feel comfortable, welcome and at ease. I had a lower bleph + fat repositioning done by Dr. Zoumalan last week. Throughout the process, from consultation through postop he has been amazing! He's been very informative about exactly what to expect, and has made me feel completely at ease. His office checked on me daily for the week after my surgery to ensure the healing was going properly. One eye had no bruising at all, and the other (which had more fat repositioned) has some slight bruising, but little swelling and no pain. I didn't even have to use the pain meds he'd proactively prescribed, let alone generic Tylenol. I've been contemplating this procedure for years, and I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger. I'm over the moon with the results, and just wish I'd done it sooner. I would highly recommend Dr. Z!

I found Dr. Christopher Zoumalan after searching through many doctors located in Los Angeles CA. I was looking for a doctor that did VERY natural lip injections and also other filler injectables. I was looking to even out my top lip and also fill in the dimple of my chin. Dr. Zoumalan did an amazing job making my lips symmetrical again and keeping them very natural as well. I am a model so it was VERY VERY important that it wasnt "too" much. He was also able to fill in the dimple of my cleft chin and its honestly so perfect! I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect! So happy to have found Dr. Zoumalan! Not only does he do amazing work he's such a nice person and he genuinely cares so much about his patients. I will be a patient for life. :)
