I had been thinking about getting my nose done for years but I was always too worried to go through with it. After being rejected by another surgeon who said my nose was "fine" I found Dr. Bartlett. He honestly listened to me and was very realistic with what he could do/hoped to do, but explained it was dependent on the internal structure. His explanations about the anatomy of the nose really put me at ease. I could tell he is an expert and my fears of ending up with a collapsed nose or not being able to breathe all went away. He has an extremely calming presence. I love his bedside manner. He was very reassuring on surgery day. Since my surgery, he has continued to be available, answering all my questions and squeezing me in for appointments whenever I feel like I need to see him. I'm very happy with my results so far. My side profile is so cute and I still look like me! My nose is similar to what it was before, just smaller and better. He isn't like other surgeons that give you a photocopied button nose and I love that about him. I really can't say enough good things about Dr. Bartlett. I'd recommend him to anyone. And his receptionist has always been nothing but professional and patient. Great experience and I can't wait to see how my nose continues to improve over the coming months!

I am so thrilled with my experience with Dr.Bartlett. I recently came to Him for septoplasty and Asian rhinoplasty. I have always been insecure about my nose, and wanted to get cosmetic surgery to fix it. But was hesitant, as I wanted to find a skilled surgeon who specialized in Asian rhinoplasty . I expressed to him what look I was looking to achieve. I wanted him to make considerable changes , but still preserve my ethnic qualities. He listened and set realistic expectations. I am only 1.5 week post op and I am thrilled so far! I can’t wait till it heals and I can see it’s final result! His office assistant Noreen is amazing, and truly caring and genuine. Dr. Bartlett is so skilled and professional, and truly has your best interests at heart. I look forward to my next post op appointment in 6 months!

Just like many others who seek reviews to base their very difficult decision of who to select for a surgeon when undergoing a complex surgery like rhinoplasty, I have been curious what my post surgery review would be and hoped I would be able to leave no less than 5 stars! That was a high expectation, this I knew, but when spending a chunk of savings on something I’ve wanted for most of my life, I had hoped it would be possible and alas… the day has come! 5 stars to Dr. Andrew Bartlett and the administration/reception but only because there isn’t an option for 6 or more!! From start to finish, upon my first phone call to the office, my consultation, my intake day at the surgery centre to my post surgery cast removal, I have been beyond thrilled with my experience! I was initially going to see another very popular surgeon here in Vancouver but after having 2 consults with that surgeon and not feeling 100% sure about it, I was recommended Dr Andrew Bartlett from a lady who happened to have seen his work time and time again. I myself had never heard of him and had heard of the surgeon I had 2 consults with extensively so I wasn’t sure what to do but I thought I should go with the ladies opinion because she worked in the medical field and had seen a lot of Dr Bartlett’s work behind the scenes. I am so glad I listened to her! From the moment I met him I could feel his genuine care and attention to detail that I had been seeking on previous consultations with other surgeons but had yet to experience. We agreed to go with a less is more approach as I did not want to change my front view as much as I wanted to straighten my deviated septum and remove the dorsal hump and basically make my nose a more symmetrical and feminine version of what it already was. He took a good amount of time during the consultation to show me two computerized results and printed them out for me. I felt that when he was assessing the inside and outside of my nose he actually addressed areas and concerns that other surgeons were not even mentioning, another surgeon had even told me they couldn’t guarantee my nose would be straight after. Dr Bartlett put me at ease by telling me my expectations were reasonable and that he was confident that he could straighten it, this is what finalized my decision! The day of the surgery, I was greeted by the friendliest nurses and support staff I could have imagined and Dr Bartlett came in again to tell me a little bit about what he would be doing during my open surgery and to review my expectations once more. I was then brought into the surgery room and although I was extremely scared about what I would experience upon waking up after surgery, I was confident I was in the right hands and drifted off to sleep under anesthesia. When I woke up the staff was taking good care of me and never left my side, Dr Bartlett had arranged my bf to pick up my medication and to come pick me up, the nurses let me relax for a good hour or more and I was totally taken care of until I was picked up. The next day dr Bartlett emailed me to see how I was doing and then checked on me once more before my cast removal day which was quick and painless and though I was extremely nervous, when I looked in the mirror I was beyond pleased to still see myself but just a better version, I still recognized myself but I looked better and everything we talked about was exactly what he delivered! There we no surprises and even though I’m still swollen I am so happy with my results, it’s only been a week since surgery and I have had almost no pain, like 1/10 on the pain scale the entire time, I had slight bruising around the eyes which is to be expected but nothing at all what I’ve seen on other people. It’s almost unbelievable, my bf and my mom both say my nose looks perfect now and I have had so much fun looking at myself from different angles and imagining what it will look like in the months to come.I wish everyone could have an experience like mine, it took me years to decide and I’m thrilled to say I made the best choice!

Very happy with the level of care and communication I’ve received. Healing from a septorhinoplasty doesn’t happen overnight, and I appreciate Dr. Bartlett responding personally to any questions or concerns during recovery. The admin assistant was very helpful and kind to me. I am happy with the results, and my nose is looking better and better as it heals.

I have been contemplating a septorhinoplasty for a couple of years now. I had a deviated septum, a dorsal hump, and a droopy nasal tip. Over that time, I met with 3 different plastic surgeons. My goal was to improve my breathing and remove the hump. One surgeon provided me with very little reassurance and didn’t take the time to answer my questions. The second surgeon wanted to completely change my nose and alter the overall look of it. The final surgeon I met with was Dr. Andrew Bartlett. Not only did he allot a significant amount of time to answer my many questions, but, what was most convincing for me, was his realistic and natural approach. Instead of wanting to completely change my nose to a superficial-looking, petite, ski-jump button nose unsuitable for my face, he agreed with keeping my nose as natural as possible. Meaning, we agreed to remove the hump, meanwhile he also suggested lifting the tip slightly. I met with him a few times prior to my surgery as I was nervous. Finally, I went through with it and I couldn’t be happier with my nose. Not only can I breathe better, but I feel more confident. The hump was an insecurity of mine and now that it is gone, I can stand a bit taller. Dr. Bartlett was reassuring, tentative, and understanding throughout the entire process. He listened to my concerns and desires. I am happy I went through with the septorhinoplasty. More importantly, I am grateful for Dr. Bartlett – he improved my breathing and boosted my self-esteem. I highly recommend Dr. Bartlett. He has changed my life! As a bonus, his receptionist, Noreen, was extremely calming and kind.

Dr. Bartlett is an amazing, thorough, and talented surgeon. He operated on me for revision rhinoplasty. My nose before was tubular and the tip was collapsing, it looked somewhat "plastic." However Dr. Bartlett has done an excellent job, my nose is now very natural-looking, triangular at the tip, and more symmetrical than before. It was a complex procedure and quite the challenge to take on my case. I can't thank him enough as I am so happy with the results, it has been one-year post-op. Dr. Bartlett and Noreen (reception) are both a delight to visit, they are easily approachable, and accommodating. He promptly saw me when I had the slightest concern. Aftercare is as important, I feel Dr. Bartlett has an interest in my healing process and his care is very personalized. He is realistic and truly invested. The surgery and the results went beyond what we anticipated. Really grateful and happy with his work! Thank you!

Dr. Bartlett has been fantastic since the first day I met him. There was a cancellation and I got to get my surgery done 1 month before schedule. I am currently 1.5 years post op from a rhinoplasty and I love my nose. He listened to all my concerns and answered all questions. He is knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Definitely would recommend as he put me at ease during the entire process.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! I had a complicated health issues due to post complication rhinoplasty about 20 years ago done by another surgeon but Dr Bartlett kindly accept to do this surgery to fix it. Dr Bartlett is an amazing surgeon! I am so pleased that I finally decided to fix my septum deviation by this great surgeon.I had septorhinoplasty reconstruction surgery with him about 6 weeks ago and I am recovering with much improved functions and more balanced esthetics. I can breathe well, I can do my work out without any issues and no more morning headaches. My nose also looks very nice and balanced. His office staff is very helpful and thoughtful.

Dr. Bartlett is an amazing person and surgeon! He was very attentive during appointments and made me feel heard during the consultation. I had a previous rhinoplasty done by another surgeon that needed re-doing basically and left me with a lot of scar tissue keeping me from breathing properly. I had an easy consultation with Dr. Bartlett who created a shape to my nose he felt was realistic as well as cosmetically pleasing for me.When I had more questions about possibly changing what would be done he was always available to talk within a few days of my request. He never ignored anything I said and he made sure I would be happy with the results (which I am) I am about 6 months post-procedure, but I felt like a brand new person about 1 month after. Dr. Bartlett and his office manager Noreen made me feel very comfortable in every visit to the office, making sure I was well educated on the process and what I was agreeing to.The surgery was quick and easy and I knew exactly what to do pre- and post-op to keep my nose healthy and my body happy.
