My nose was never a huge concern, however it would prevent me from taking photos from the left side. I thought a septo/rhinoplasty could make it look more refined and help to unblock the nostril that I never had airflow from. Dr Shahidis team are all lovely and were so kind through the process! My consultation was great, Dr Shahidi showed me what he thought was possible and I loved the computer generated photo. He didn’t promise full breathing function, but said he would try to fix it! We decided on septoplasty and rhinoplasty where we would focus on alar reduction (very glad I added this on), dorsal hump reduction, tip refinement and slight narrowing of the bridge, as I had a diamond shaped bone which would pop out where glasses would sit. On the cast removal day, despite the swelling, I was thrilled with my results! I felt like I was not as swollen as I thought I would be, and was fine to be in public two days later, where no one would have guessed I was still recovering. Over the weeks, my swelling decreased and my real shape came through. I really love the result and despite the fact my natural nose was never bad, I really feel that this surgery has been life changing. I feel so confident with my nose and feel like it really suits me! Nose jobs are big procedures, and I’m happy that I went with a surgeon that I had full trust in. He delivered amazing results and is a very lovely surgeon to work with. Could not have had a better experience end to end. I am a interstate patient and met with Dr Shahidi in 2019 and then had to delay the surgery due to covid and my states restrictions. Had my surgery in July this year and could not have had a better experience. Had to fly in to Sydney for the consults which were booked in midday so I could fly in and out. Office is located close to airport which was convenient. Consult went well and Dr Shahidi is definitely an artist with his craft. So diligent and great eye for detail, I knew I was in the right hands, he also didn’t make me feel like my current nose was inadequate like I had felt at other surgeon consults. Dr Shahidi was very diligent with making sure your expectation was realistic and Dr Shahidi absolutely exceeded my expectations. My nose had a lot going on, a hump, droopy tip, uneven nostrils, one side was bent (from a sport accident). Had my surgery a few months after consult at the North shore hospital, excellent care by the nurses and staff, was kept lovely and warm whilst waiting for my surgery. I was very lucky and had minimal bruising, unsure if that was because of all the pineapple juice I drank, vitamin c I took it or that dr Shahidi is excellent at what he does. I was given more pain relief than needed and spent a few days resting post surgery. The results are incredibly amazing and it’s like I have a new nose. I am so grateful that I went with Dr Shahidi and would highly recommend. The experience was professional, high level, well organised and took absolute care in me. Releigh is also an incredible nurse with post care. Thanks so much Dr Shahid your incredible at what you do and am so lucky to have had a surgeon like him to perform this procedure.

Dr Shahidi is honestly the best that there is! Every single staff member he has on his team has been amazing throughout the whole process. Shahidi has helped build my confidence and I could not fault a single thing about my whole experience. He is worth every single cent and more!!!!!

The whole process with Dr Shahidi and his staff was absolutely amazing! They made me feel so comfortable with the whole process start -to finish. The office is absolutely amazing! All his staff are so sweet and make the whole experience very enjoyable. After my surgery they continued to check up on me regularly with my recovery as the few days after are very uncomfortable ! All in all I had the best experience possible with dr Shahidi and his team and am so glad I went with them for my rhinoplasty!

Being quite young when I went for my rhinoplasty I was obviously very nervous about the entire procedure. All staff members made the experience so good and I couldn't be happier with the finished result!

I couldn’t recommend Dr Shahidi and his team enough. I’ve wanted to have my nose done for years and years but I was always too nervous to go for it. Dr Shahidi and his team were so professional and understanding from the very first consultation, putting all my (many many) concerns at ease (especially doing it during a global pandemic!). I was also supported by their recommended psychologist Dr Shab throughout the whole process, and I can truly say as someone with anxiety, I do not think I could’ve managed the intense recovery process without her help. My experience with Dr Shahidi and his team was fantastic. I am currently 7 weeks post-op and the results thus far have exceeded my expectations. I sought treatment to re-shape my hereditary ethnic dorsal hump and correct my deviated septum that was subsequently worsening my allergies and affecting my ability to breathe through my nose properly. In the months leading up to surgery, Dr Shahidi referred me to see Dr Shab Mireskandari (clinical psychologist) for additional mental support. Dr Shab was brilliant. She helped me prepare for the physical and psychological changes I was going to experience with my new nose. In addition to providing support before and after my surgery, she taught me invaluable techniques to help ease my anxiety and stress. I can't thank Dr Shahidi, his team and Dr Shab enough. One of the best decisions I have made in my life!

I got my nose done by Dr Shahidi in May 2019. Dr Shahidi did such an amazing job on my nose and I cannot thank him enough. My nose is so beautiful and natural looking and I can also breathe way better then before. My experience with Dr Shahidi and his practice was 5 STAR. Ethical, professional, informative and supportive from beginning to end. Its been just over a year now since i had a sept/rhinoplasty and alar base reduction with Dr Shahidi. It took me quite a while to go ahead with my procedure, consulted with other surgeons as well along the way to make sure i was making the right decision for me and choosing the best for best possible outcome. I really wanted this done, but feared the worse ( my mind, what if i end up botched? uneven nostrils?nostrils on show? ) I wanted a natural result! Improvement that wouldn't be noticed? I couldn't have asked for a better result! I love my new nose. Its natural, well proportioned and much smaller. I have read in reviews patients referring to him as a "magician", now i know what they were talking about. Looking at my new nose, is really unreal. Its a new nose!, and functions well too. Very busy and extremely well organised practise. Entire team from receptionist/bookings/nurse are very easy to talk to, knowledgeable, supportive and patient. They all work very well together. Procedure took about 2hrs, recovery went very well, (i followed all their instructions and tips), quite a bit of swelling the first 2-3 weeks in my case but steadily subsided, social ready around 3-4weeks. After just a few months i felt the new nose belonged to me! Make sure you re ready. Give yourself time to recover. Choose the Surgeon that also wants to see you after the procedure is done.
