Dr. Melanie Petro is a most learned physician, the consummate professional who demonstrates a high degree of skill with those gifted eyes of hers. She is also a compassionate women who understands this to be both exciting and terrifying territory we have chosen to venture into. Currently I am utilizing botox, juvederm and voluma... absolutely thrilled with the results! With Dr. Petro's help and advice, I look good, more importantly I look like ME! I recommend her highly.

I went to see Dr Melanie Petro after reading about her online through reviews. I wanted to get filler and wanted to make sure I went to someone who knew what they were doing. First of all, let me say that Dr Petro and her office staff are amazing! Such a relaxed atmosphere and everyone makes you feel welcome. I have suffered with cystic acne on my chin area only for about 10 years off and on and had some scarring and discoloration due to the acne. When I went to see Dr Petro for filler, I asked for her opinion on what I needed to improve my "look". She said filler would be great but she felt I should do something about the texture and discoloration on my chin area and explained the Halo laser treatment to me. She said that would improve my "look" and I could do filler later. I appreciated her honesty and went ahead with halo laser. Let me say, it totally changed the look of my chin area! I haven't felt that great about my chin area in years. I received many compliments on how good my chin looked from those who knew me. It also helps with melasma and other spots which I have as well. I want to have the halo laser treatment once per year for maintenance going forward. The pain was minimal and really only was uncomfortable during procedure. I have since been back to Dr Petro for filler and go regularly now for my Botox injections. I cannot say enough about her and how much she helped me feel better about myself. She is not pushy and will tell you what she thinks you need and don't need. She doesn't try to "sell" you what you don't need. Call Dr Petro, you will not be disappointed.

I went to my doctor for the first time thinking I was getting botox to look and feel my best just before my wedding. She recomnended doing laser resurfacing to get the best result for my money. I felt I could trust her after just a few minutes of talking with her. She's was very genuine about wanting to help me feel better about myself. The treatment itself was a little more painful than I was expecting especially the first hour afterwards. I took some benadryl and slept like a baby. The next day my skin felt very tight and looked much worse than it felt. It was slightly tender when washing my face but nothing painful at all. By the 4th day my skin peeled and tge new skin appeared. I was able to wear make up again on day 6. I did this treatment just 2 weeks before my wedding and it was one of the best things I've ever done for myself. I felt beautiful with my new smooth and glowing skin. The outside mat hed with what I was feeling on the inside. I am now only 4 weeks out from having the laser done and I am amazed at my results. My skin tone is so much brighter and beautiful. My skin looks and feels smoother. I barely have to use any foundation now and it just goes on so much smoother. The dark sun spots are all gone and the wrinkles around my mouth that bothered me are so much softer than they were and are about 50-75% gone. I highly recommend this treatment to anyone who is considering it. I would and probably will absolutly do it again.

My motivation to do the Coolsculpting was the fatty scist on my neck. I couldn't help but do my stomach while I was there. To me there was no cons. There was very little that was uncomfortable. 48 hrs after the treatment and all I have had is a little swelling in my stomach and very little soreness on my neck and stomach. I guess the more fat the less side effects. Lol

I have a lipoma on my jaw near my chin and surgery to remove it was not an option because of potential nerve damage. Dr. Petro suggested I try Kybella and after one treatment I could see a difference. It was approximately 12 weeks before all of the numbing effect went away. Yesterday, I had a follow-up treatment, 5 months following the first treatment. I'm swollen and bruised but that is normal and it is worth it.

My motivation for HALO was to remove sun damage, minimize enlarged acne pores/pitting, help melasma, combat aging/wrinkles and boost collagen. I have tried Rhytec Portrait in 2009, erbium laser in 2011--both with "ok" results after 5 days of oozing and hiding. The HALO minimal downtime and duel lasers peaked my interest. Also being able to adjust the laser intensity was a positive. I wanted an aggressive treatment to "get my money's worth". I know for sure my doctor cranked up the intensity! But she also used triple numbing cream that was put on me for an hour prior. I hardly felt a thing but I knew I was going to feel the heat afterward. Icing is a must afterward.

Dr. Petro is amazing. I've spent hundreds of dollars on lightening creams, chemical peels, and I've even had a fraxel laser treatment done. None of them have even touched or lightened the melasma that is under my eyes and on my forehead. Dr. Petro recommended the Halo Laser treatment - a stronger setting in the darker areas, and a lighter setting on the rest of my face. Initially, I looked like I had a bad sunburn, and I was swollen for a few days. Two weeks out, I am so happy with my results. Although the spots are not completely gone, they are drastically lighter. This is the only treatment that has lightened the melasma! I am so pleased and am so happy to have found Dr. Petro.

During a routine visit with a dermatologist, I inquired about the best way to get rid of my smoker lines above my lips. I was told filler was the best way to do this. I was told 3 syringes injected into my lips would help make the lines less noticeable and that they were running a special that month of 550.00 per syringe. I knew nothing about facial procedures, but I knew I didn't want my lips injected. I told them I would need to think about it before making that decision. I didn't feel comfortable about this doctor's advice especially since they performed a full body exam, addressed my skin problem and talked about my smoker lines within 10 minutes max. After leaving the appointment, I went home and decided to educate myself about the best way to address my smoker lines. I found out alot of good information when I was directed to this site. I read everything I could and decided to find a good doctor in my area to get a consultation with. I did my homework and read reviews and checked credentials for each doctor. I finally settled on a doctor and made my consultation appointment through this website. I was nervous and excited to go to the consultation, however, when I entered the doctors offices, I was very impressed and relaxed. The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. My appointment started right on time. When Dr Petro came in, she listened to my concerns and explained different procedures with me and the pro and cons of each one. Dr. Petro spent about an hour with me and during that time, I was impressed with her professionalism, knowledge and compassion. I fully understood that the CO2 lazer would provide the best outcome I was wanting. I was versed as to what to expect before, during and after the procedure. I felt no pressure whatsoever to have the procedure done, like I did at the dermatologist. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Petro and her staff and the facilities. After sleeping on it, and discussing the doctor and procedure and what to expect with my husband, I felt very confident about having Dr. Petro perform this procedure. I had the procedure performed the next week and I am one week after the procedure. I am very happy with the results so far. I feel very blessed to have found Dr. Petro and look forward to using her and her facilities for future needs. If you are looking for a doctor to answer all your questions, inform you on the best procedure for your needs, have the best facilities and staff available, with exceptional reviews and have compassion for you, then you need to meet Dr. Petro. I could not get over how beautiful she is, but she is more beautiful on the inside. Updated on 11 Apr 2016: I wanted to correct the name of the lazer used during my procedure. It was not a co2 lazer, but a Halo lazer. Dr Petro was able to use the highest setting on me without feeling any excessive pain. All through out the procedure she kept asking how my pain level was and was I comfortable. I would certainly trust her to do this procedure again, if need be. I can really tell a difference in the lines above my lips, and feel like it was a success.
