I recently heard about the efficacy of ematrix for early acne scars. My scars are semi early (around 6 months old) and I would like to try ematrix to treat them. There aren't alot of ematrix providers in my area so I would like some more info so I can choose a reliable provider. For active acne + acne scars on the forehead of asian skin what settings of ematrix would you suggest? What ABC level, # of joules/pins, overlap % and # of passes would you suggest?
I am 43 years old. I have struggled with acne my whole life. Mild mostly with pores that continue to get clogged no matter the quality of the products I use! I have been treated medically... it just returns. I also have severe melasma. My skin is a hot mess. I'm getting my third ViPeel next week. Melasma improved mildly. Now I would like to get eMatrix to address the uneven skin texture, but I still have clogged pores and a couple of painful cysts... status quo. Will eMatrix work for me?
Hi have ice pick acne scars in both of my cheeks. I visited two Laser clinics and both referred me to different treatments. One recommended Profractional Laser with Micro Laser Peel and the another recommended the eMatrix sublative treatment. I am 25 year old Asian women (light brown skin tone). Kindly direct me which would be the right option for better results for my skin tone. I have attached the before photo of my cheek.
I'm looking to improve the texture of my skin. I want to reduce pore size, get rid of a few ice pick acne scars on my nose, remove sun spots and minor wrinkles, and tighten skin. I'm 32 and my skin looks fine, but I'm trying to get a jump on keeping my skin youthful. Also, I have a scar underneath my nose from a lip lift that I would like to improve. Which would be a better fit for me, the Sciton laser or the E-Matrix?
Is the energy from ematrix is absorbed more by the deeper tissues than the more shallow tissues? I've seen pictures online that show that ematrix's energy is triangular, while the energy from lasers resembles the shape of an inverted triangle. I've also read multiple studies that suggest this same conclusion. So does ematrix actually work better for pitted scars than non pitted ones?
I had 3 tx with the Syneron RF Sublative; 1/month in Dec to Feb. I am extremely concerned as the wrinkles around my eyes and over all skin texture is much worse after the treatments. Looks like my skin has been damaged by the laser. In the mornings, my eyes are puffy and swollen. Hard to see from the pictures the extent of how bad the it is, but the change has also been noticeable by others. What can I do to fix the damage? Do I need an aggressive tx such as erbium laser? Please help!
