Madonna is buying EMK Placental, why haven't I?

placenta creams for skin careThis afternoon my organic skin care guru friend gave me feedback on her latest anti-aging product: EMK Placental. Of course my response was "Did you say placental?"

Indeed, EMK uses human placenta in it's skin care products. The notion here is that the placenta has natural antioxidants, proteins and amino acids that encourage skin tissue growth and repair.

My friend called her results "like getting a facelift". I'm not sure I can get past the placenta thing. Just like I can't work past the human corpse that's used in Cymetra collagen lip injections. EEK!?

The whole placenta thing is a bit freaky, but I've tried EMK's product and shared it with some family members. It is amazing!! I hate skin creams and such, but this stuff soaks in instantly and within minutes I wouldn't remember that I put it on. It smells and feels great, so I don't think there is much to fear about where the key ingredients come from. I had a melanoma removed from my face and I trust EMK products like none other to help protect me from more skin problems. I get nervous about running low on my supply! My sisters tell me its MUCH better than anything she's ever bought from her esthetician in La Jolla, CA. I suggest you give it a try!

I agree with Mark. I've also heard fantastic reports of EMK products. Their site is very informative and reassuring about the process behind the creams. I understand the reaction to the source of the material - to start with anyway. But placenta is a product of life - literally. If it's not used in this way it becomes a waste product and science has only recently understood just what a rich source of healing and rejeuvenation we have been dumping in the dustbin. To me it's a million times more acceptable than anything taken from "cadavers" like the stuff used in collagen fillers. Or what about the toxins we convince ourselves it's acceptable to inject into our faces? I'm no expert but offer me the choice and I know which anti-aging strategy I'd pick.

I noticed there is only one type of prod. in the EMK line and I have an oily T-zone. Does anyone else have my same skin type that has used this prod.? How did it work for you?
