Ashlee Simpson finally talks about her plastic surgery

Ashlee Simpson finally talks about her plastic surgery
Beauty Cred on Oct 14, 2006

For some time now, Ashlee Simpson has refused to comment on her recent nose job, except to coyly smile and offer a wink at her dramatically different looks.

Her doctor, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon / superstar Dr. Raj Kanodia, will only confirm that he performs “closed rhinoplasty so that there are no scars.”

Plastic surgery is as common in Hollywood as quickie marriages, but Ashlee complicated things by inadvertently timing her surgery with the release of an issue of Marie Claire magazine that featured a photo shoot (old nose) – and an article in which Ashlee goes on and on (an on) about the need to love our bodies as they are. Now that we’ve all gotten used to the new nose (and what looks to be a new chin, too) and moved past the whole Marie Claire debacle, Ashlee is finally speaking out on the topic of cosmetic surgery – by warning people to carefully consider before doing it.

She recently told Britain’s More magazine: “If people want to get surgery, it’s a personal thing. But it’s not something anyone should rush into. Once it’s done, it’s done.”

Cosmetic surgery is a very private matter, most poeple do it for themselves and not to please someone else, it is about feeling comfortable in our skin and love our body even more. It gives us that long lasting excitement and happiness.

Ashlee Simpson has simply done what the Majority of celebs have done. -So, she once praised the joys of loving oneself for the natural looks that God has given to us. She then, apparently, changed her mind and made a personal decision to surgically alter her appearance. It IS Her mind (to change as she pleases), Her money (to spend as she pleases), Her face, Her life, etc. Seems that the fuss has pretty much died down (Thank God) and that those who have wasted endless hours debating this personal choice of a young lady, whom most will never even meet, is now past-history. Most of the debaters would do the same thing, if they had the chance or the funds to do it. Like the American Idol haters, who would jump on That band-wagon if only they were young enough or had talent enough. It is Ashlee's life. SO glad that the we have finally decided to get on with our Own. There IS a war going on in this world. -WHAT is REALLY important?
