Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) has been used for hard and soft tissue regeneration. These are some applications that have been published in the scientific literature:

- Treatment of diabetic foot ulcers Face-lift surgery (rhytidectomy), because of the hemostatic properties of platelet rich plasma
- Cosmetic facial surgery induced hair loss, as for sideburns
