“Started Treatment - Little Fixes - California”
Not Sure
Spent: $3,500 in California
It all started with me having a little gap between my front teeth that I wanted fixed because food gets stuck in there. It's a pretty small gap ...big enough to put a piece of paper between it (useful when I didn't have floss).
My dentist told me he could fill in the gap but it...

I’m 44 and I just started Invisalign yesterday. So far, so good. They are pretty comfortable. I haven’t had any pain and haven’t had to take any Advil even though the dentist recommended it for the first day.
The only minor inconvenience I have noticed so far is having to...

“Loving It - Newport Beach, CA”
Worth It
Spent: $6,000 in Newport Beach, CA
I did invisalign for a few different reasons... One being that as a kid I didn't wear those horrid cheap plastic retainers they give you after braces. Two because my friend had just completed her treatment and her teeth looked fabulous! Three because I was on a weight loss make myself look...

Worth It
Spent: $4,300 in North Wales, UK
I have been wanting to get braces for a number of years now. However when I was younger, I never had the confidence to go ahead and have traditional braces. This did not bother me too much until in recent years and I have now come to regret not getting my teeth sorted out. I now work full time...

“Videos posted today, and got 10 attachments...”
Worth It
Spent: $5,300 in Puget Sound, Washington
Got my first trays today, and it went much better than I expected, based on comments I had read here and other places. Trays went on easily and pop off just fine (though I have long fingers and some decent nails!). They just felt tight, and after about 7 hours were aching like I remember feeling...

“So Far So Good - Washington, DC”
Worth It
Spent: $6,180 in Washington DC
Before I got invisalign I did a two year research about braces and invisalign. It started when I got my 4 wisdom teeth removed on march 2010. Then I had one porcelain crown placed. And did whitening with zoom. Then dedicated myself 6 months to look for the best dentist to put me on invisalign...

Invisalign: was it worth it?
Invisalign Information
- Invisalign Braces (commonly spelled "Invisaline" and includes Invisalign Express and Invisalign Teen) correct crooked or crowded teeth, overbites, and gaps
- Invisalign is a teeth straightening alternative to braces which are less noticeable.
- Invisalign requires you to wear a series of clear plastic orthodontic trays called aligners which are custom fitted to your dental needs. Invisalign does not require metal wires or brackets. Since the Invisalign aligners can be removed, it’s easier to brush teeth than when wearing traditional braces.
- Your Invisalign results can be influenced by compliance in wearing the aligners, your doctor's experience in dealing with difficulties that can come up, and by the degree of movement your teeth require
- The cost of Invalign braces is based on a number of factors, but the average price reported on RealSelf is approximately $4,500. See all Invisalign price information here
