“If You Want White Teeth, Britesmile is the Way to Go”
Worth It
Spent: $399 in Chicago, IL
Before I used britesmile, I was very skepetical on whether it would work or not since it's a commercial product. I also read up people's reviews and it was more negative than positive, which made purchasing it even more hard since it was $399! But, I decided to take the plunge and get it...

“Waste of Money - United Kingdom”
Not Worth It
Spent: $700 in UK
Complete waste of money and very uncomfotrable.
Clearly a moneyspinner for dentists but unethical I think. Tried to persuade me how much whiter my teeth were - absolutely no difference in my mind.

Not Worth It
Spent: $300 in Budapest, Hungary
I had my teeth whitened with Brite Smile in 2009. I had traditional tray whitening for the first time in 2005 and it really worked for me, my teeth looked much whiter after a 1 week treatment. I remembered though how uncomfortable it was so the second time I opted for the 1-hour treatment of...

“What to expect - New York, NY”
Worth It
Spent: $300 in New York, NY
For 300 bucks it was worth it. It didn't hurt, it took an hour and my teeth lightened 10 shades (so they said) but looked best 2 weeks after the whitening. I was/am a smoker It only lasted about 3 years. And now I need it again. I'm sure you could get a home whitening kit from your...

“Teeth Whitening Brightened my Smile and the Pain Was Minimal”
Worth It
Spent: $400 in New York City, NY
I had my teeth whitened twice. The first time was about 6 years ago. I did it again about October of 2009.
I really don't understand how people describe it as "excruciating" or painful. It's more annoying then anything else. The process of sitting there with a light in your...

Brite Smile: was it worth it?
Brite Smile Information
- BriteSmile (or Brite Smile) is a brand of professional teeth whitening that markets itself as delivering up to 9.3 shades of tooth lightening in about an hour. We're not sure why they throw-in the extra 0.3.
- BriteSmile Teeth Whitening is a gel (15% hydrogen peroxide with pH of 6.5) that is applied to your teeth. A special light source is directed onto the teeth to activate the gel and remove stains.
- At the completion of your one hour BriteSmile session, it may be suggest you wear a tray teeth whitening system for two weeks and up to six months after your in-office treatment.
- Every one responds differently to bleaching agents, but you're very likely to feel some level of extra tooth sensitivity after the whitening session.
- One other tooth whitening fact: your fillings and other dental restorations such as composite fillings, veneers, bonding, porcelain crowns or veneers will probably not whiten at all or evenly with your natural teeth.
