How long does nerve pain last from Vaser lipo? I had done this year and its lingering. Ive heard it can take as long as 16 months in one example to subside. Its a non stop pins/needles sensation. It hurts mainly when anything rubs against my skin. Thank you
Hello, I am considering Vaser Lipo to my abdomen and flanks. I am a 42 yo male in good health, and considering a board certified plastic surgeon who has experience with this technique. I am reading conflicting information online about the potential for permanent nerve damage following Vaser Lipo: some sources say it is less invasive and therefore safer, and others say that the energy / heat from Vaser poses higher risks of permanent nerve damage. Can you help me assess this risk? Thank you.
I have read conflicting material about laser lipo and if it is safe to use on the jawline and lower cheeks. Specifically, I have read some surgeons will not do because of the risk of damaging nerves that line the jaw area, but others see little risk and offer the option to contour the jaw. Any thoughts?
Since this is a less invasive liposuction technique, is there a safe way to remove subcutaneous face fat deposits avoiding nerve injury? My lower third of the face is puffy and I wonder if the marginal mandibular branch of facial nerve can be avoided by the cannulas since its deeper than subcutaneous fat. I've seen few surgeons saying its a safe procedure around cheek area and I asked 2 surgeons if it would be possible to remove face fat and they said there are safe spots to do so, is this true?
I finally had Vaser Chin Lipo 6 days ago after researching it for well over. Year. I chose a reputable Plastic Surgeon who removed 100cc of fat below chin and a little below my jawline. I feel like my mouth is not right. My smile is not wonky but so cannot do a toothy grin like before and my bottom lip folds in when laughing or yawing. I am so so worried this will be permanent nerve damage? Thanks in advance of your help.
Both arms suffer from: -Constant numbness: armpits-elbows -Pulling sensations when reaching or pulling -Occasional bursts of sharp pain -My hands get pins & needles very quickly if I apply any pressure/bend at the elbows or hold my arms above my shoulders -Irritated when exercising (running, etc.) Surgeons told me: nerves would heal themselves, be patient. Treated me with multiple PRP sessions & heat over 2yrs. Is this permanent? Can the damage be seen on an MRI? Are treatments available?
