Hello all, i had surgeey over 200 days ago. I had many online consultations with my surgeon as to the kind of surgery best suited for me. I chose a TT plus additional lipo. Surgery went well. On arrival home i noticed a lump to on/below the incision to the right of my belly button plus nonsymetrical results on my hips. My surgeon said to give it time to settle and be patient. I since met my surgeon.my skin elasticity isn't great and that i need more surgery; a 360/back lift/lipo
Im a 35 yr female, 53 146 lbs. Ive had two children 10 years apart. After my last child I had full abdominoplasty, with lipo 360 and diastaisis recti repair. Ive had this bulge at the top of my abdomen that appeared 4 days post op. Im 7 months post op and I was hoping it was something my body could reabsorb. My surgeon wants to do surgeryHow can I tell if its a seroma vs hematoma vs ruptured sutures on my abdomen wall?
I had abdominoplasty on Wednesday, February 13th 2019. When I drink water, my upper abdomen, in the area where the muscles were sutured feels cold. Could I have ruptured my sutures? I coughed twice before this. I spoke with my nurse from my surgeon's office and she said if I would have ruptured the sutures I would be in pain, plus he puts in layers of sutures.
I have an older tummy tuck done many years ago. While getting a chiropractic treatment, internal sutures were ruptured and a palm size mass appeared on the side below belly button ultrasound show no hernia but instead ruptured sutures. Surgeon in my area says i can leave it if I wish. (I do not want to undergo another surgery) am I at risk for further sutures to rupture now that these have? I can live with the lump. It's soft and easily hidden anyways, I'd appreciate another opinion.
I'm 21 days post-op.I made 2 strong movements accidentally 6 days after my surgery and sneezed sometimes.Since the 18th day post-op after my Lymfedranaige I don't feel my muscles that tight anymore and it's more comfortable to laugh. Is it possible that I ruptured my muscle tightening? I don't feel pain,I do small things at home and I'm back to work.Since a day ago is my lower belly extremely swollen. Is it normal? Or is it a bulge? How can I tell if I ruptured my muscle repair?
I am 11 weeks post op tummy tuck . . Now a blister appeared on my incision in the centre of pubic area. It ruptured, then bled, then thick dark pink greasy looking fluid,Once that came out the layers of gauze i applied would soak through with clear yellowish fluid. . I am now left with a hole in the incision, deep enough to stick the head of a q tip in it.My surgeon seems to think I had a cyst Will this hole close up quickly enough? , Is this something more serious etc?
I'm 4 week post op from a tummy tuck, about to 2 weeks ago I strained my stomach muscles and had a bugle on my left side near. I asked my PS about it, he stated that it would resolve on its owe. However I noticed that it's getting worse when it comes to pain. Im worried I may have ruptured a internal stucture. From reading about this it looks as though the only way to fix this is to have surgery. If I didn't want too would I continue to have this pain?
I am 29 years old and two weeks post-op from an abdominoplasty with an umbilical hernia repair. I want to know if it is very common, or easy to rupture the internal sutures used in a tummy tuck and signs to recognize if so? Also, is it a good idea to restrict caloric intake to avoid weight gain during the recovery phase of a tummy tuck? Thank you.
