Im little over 1yr tummy tuck revision. pretty sure im going through menopause. Ive gotten my period 2x a month, last 3 months. W/that said ive gained 5-6lbs. I do not feel well. My stomach is distended/bloated. Nothing fits well. Yesterday (mon) noticed a light redish bruise. Today (tue) i saw Dr for kenalong injection. he said i may have pulled a suture. After the injection the bruise is darker. Could this weight gain make a suture pull/rip the repair? This is my 3rd, i cant do any more fixing
I had a tummy tuck over a year ago and in the healing process, I kept getting seroma. After having it drained 4 or 5 times, I finally had a drain put back in. Got that drain removed and then it still felt like something was inside there. The PS told me that its just the way my body healed. But It just doesnt seem right to have to have this hard ball feeling in my stomach right over my bladder for the rest of my life. It has the feeling of a 1st trimester pregnancy.
I got a full tummy tuck done with muscle repair. I ended up not liking the results so I went back and had a revision done and was put under. He did have to raise my scar ( I guess he didnt want to redo my belly button) but now that its been about a year since Im having weird sensations in my belly button if my scar below is pulled on it pulls on the skin in my belly button to where Im scared its going to rip all the scar tissue open ? Can that happen??
3/2022 I had TT w/o muscle plication as my surgeon said I had only one finger width separation of abs. I wish I was flatter and that I looked less wide from the side. PS said that though my separation is minimal he can redo TT to include plication and slightly invert the muscles in the midline. Will this cause problems with my posture or affect my ability to use my core muscles properly? Is it likely to make me look thinner and flatter from the side? 5'4 135lbs 22% bodyfat for reference TY
I has a mommy make over a few years ago and lipo last year but my belly button never went back to normal it bothers me a lot and I did get aggressive lipo . I dont have much skin and my abdomen is hard underneath. Is my belly button fixable
I'm 1 year Post Op of a Tummy Tuck with muscle repair and liposuction to 3 areas. I'm generally very happy with the results, and the scar has healed and faded really well. I'm just disappointed that I have this indentation, therefore a slight tummy overhang. It doesn't look much, but I had hoped it would be flat. Is this normal, or is there something that can be done? Many thanks. Jacky
I had a successful tummy tuck with full muscle repair a year ago. Everything was great until I noticed lower belly bulge at around 6 months. A second PS opinion believes my MR is still intact but the fascia around it is weak and has been stretched out. What is the best way to reinforce weak fascia in a lower tummy tuck revision? PS suggested side horizontal stitching in the fascia as well as MR retightening?
hello, I had a tummy tuck last year, would you agree this needs a revision? What type of revision? I am so bummed that my stomach is still touching my thighs! Also that my stomach isnt flat. I had inquired about fdl cut and surgeon said it left an ugly scar and that he was sure he could take care of my concerns with the underboobs I had, with a reg extended cut. Do uthink this is something maybe just lipo would solve? If I needed to redo the whole cut would I have enough to go above BB?
Had a tummy tuck in 2020 it was horrible. The mounds area is protruding and hard and the lower left pushes forward too. In 2021 the same doctor was fixing it but he only attempted to fix the right side not the left side that was bulging. It looks slightly worse. The dr also attempted an upper stomach scar revision during tummy tuck and again in 2021 which is far worse than original. Its depressed and thin, cant feel tissue under scar. Did the blood circulation get destroyed by the revision?
Hi! One year ago I had an abdominoplasty with DR repair and umbilical hernia repair (no mesh). Although there is great improvement , I feel as though the area above the belly button protrudes more than it should. I was told there is little fat so it could be weak tissue or just how my organs lay. I am consistent with doing Pilates to increase core strength. Is this something a revision can fix?
