Pulling sensations a year after my tummy tuck revision

Question

I got a full tummy tuck done with muscle repair. I ended up not liking the results so I went back and had a revision done and was put under. He did have to raise my scar ( I guess he didn’t want to redo my belly button) but now that it’s been about a year since I’m having weird sensations in my belly button if my scar below is pulled on it pulls on the skin in my belly button to where I’m scared it’s going to rip all the scar tissue open ? Can that happen??

After a year you are fully healed from surgery.  I encourage you to begin by visiting with your surgeon for an evaluation and to discuss your concerns.  Gentle stretching exercises done consistently may help alleviate the tugging feeling you described.

Once patients are healed up, they are not going to fall apart after surgery.Final results after a tummy tuck I usually seen at about six months. Scars can take a year to a year and a half before they stop changing. Changes in skin sensation can continue for a couple of years.
