I had a thigh lift in Florida about 12 weeks ago. My right leg has a long, wide ugly scar. This suture line opened after the surgery. It makes me feel deformed. Is there anything that can be done. The scar is hot to the touch. I really need some help. I also have a huge protrusion at the end of my knee. Looks like my knee does a right turn. It was a seroma at one time. How long will the swelling last.
I had an extended thigh lift about 3 months ago. I have a bouncy lump that extends about 2 inches from my inner knee, up my suture line. I do not have pain at the site. Its more of an annoyance and I can visibly see the lump which is embarrassing. When I use a foam pad over the site under my faja, that seems to help but when I remove that pad to go to work, it is back to its original shape and size. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
A little over 3 months ago, I had a thigh lift and a scar revision. The scars from the thigh lift ended up being way lower on my legs, not along the panty line as promised. The scars seem to be very crooked and uneven, and bunch up in he back. Also, the c-section scar revision ended up being crooked on the left side. Im curious to what might have gone wrong and are these results fixable?
I had thigh lift surgery in Florida about 3 months ago. I have the following questions: 1. I had a seroma and the area around the seroma is still massively swollen, is that normal? 2. My suture line opened and now I have a patch of dry, kinda scabby white skin right in the center of the suture opening. Is that normal and is there anything I can do to help it heal? 3. I still have hanging skin in my upper thigh. Can it still be swelling or is it just a less than great result?
I had surgery January 18th. I have noticed as of Saturday morning the inside area looks dark and spreading. It is sometimes warm and it hurts around the area. Is this something to be concerned about?
Hi,I had a bilateral tigh lift on March 13. Abt 3 weeks ago I began to experience swelling in my right foot/ankle/calf. I have been fitted for compression tights and they have not worked. Legs are being elevated etc. We have ruled out clotting and vein damage. Is this normal? Should I expect this to go away? Dr seems to think this is lymphedema.
