Please reply. I am not sure what this abnormality is at the corner of my mouth at 3 months post SMAS FL. My swelling is mostly completely resolved and I have been left with this on one side. It is not only unattractive but also asymmetrical. PLEASE! I ask all Surgeons for their professional opinion on this because I hate looking in the mirror as it reminds me of the corners of the Jokers mouth...
I am three months post surgery from a SMAS lower facelift. My neck had very little improvement and I expected a better result. As time goes on, my neck skin gets looser. I took very good care of myself post surgery. I am not overweight or a smoker. I am very disappointed. Can my neck be improved?
Does massage after a facelift help, or does daily massage cause laxity earlier than if I don't do anything (other than moisturizer and sunscreen)? I am 3+ months post facelift and very happy with the result. I want it to last as long as possible. Thank you.
I'm 3 months post op for SMAS lower facelift and Upper and Lower's eye surgery. I've healed nicely but have an area that is pink or flush all the time with several broken capillaries. This area is high on my cheekbone. It's much worse on 1 side. Is this from tension of sutures or poor circulation? I'd like to do V Beam or laser to correct but how long should I wait?
I am just short of 3 months post SMAS facelift. I had an incision under my chin and around my ears. So far, healing seems to be going well; however, I now have tightness when I lift my head to look up at things AND I can see my platysma muscles (like vertical bands) when I stretch my neck back. Is this a normal part of the healing process? Will it resolve in time? If not, what can be done to correct this?
I had a SMAS facelift about 3 months ago, In the past three weeks, I have been experiencing ringing in my ears, especially on the left side. I asked my PS about this (he is very reputable) and he said he never heard of a facelift causing this. Has anyone else heard of this? Could it be something with the nerves in the area? Any help or suggestions would be deeply appreciated!
