I had a mini facelift 7 months ago to correct prejowl and lax skin. I'm was fit and 40 with no jowl and no sagging neck. The mini facelift ended up not touching my prejowl sulcus and I had no physical appearance change which was very disappointing. My lax skin was fixed, but I'm not sure I would have done the procedure just for that at this point in my life. It was a big surgery and expensive. Now I still have problem that continues to worsen. How do you fix prejowl sulcus/mandibular ligament?
I had an umbilical hernia repair July 2021. This was completed without mesh and using stitch only. I have some slight loose skin on my belly following two pregnancies. I was looking at getting HIFU and radio frequency on my stomach. Are there any issues getting this post umbilical hernia repair? Ie; can it dissolve the stitches somehow? Also, should you wait until you are back to desired weight post pregnancy? Im 7 weeks post partum. Im 37, non smoker, have always been a normal weight.
I have had a bit of filler but it did not seem to do much with the long line and orange peel look on chin. My Dr tried a small amount of Botox in chin but even that did not do much. Do I need to do something else like tightening treatments as my lower face does feel like its lost elasticity. Any suggestions would be wonderful! Thanks
I am in my mid 30's and I have some slight skin laxity in my cheeks that is causing the start of nasolabial folds. I've had consults and I am not a candidate for surgery or fillers (facial volume loss is not my issue, nor is bone loss) but micro-needling RF treatment was recommended. However, I've read that isn't suitable for people with rosacea or broken capillaries. What better alternatives are there?
I'm looking to address loose skin on the abdomen and general crepiness of the skin there and on the buttocks. My derm suggested Sculptra and microneedling, but I'm curious if other treatments made for tightening (ultrasound, radiofrequency) would be better. I'm 38 yo and thin so just want to focus on skin texture and elasticity, not fat reduction.
Hello, I am 39 years old. I have always had loose skin under my eyes. Only noticeable when I smile. I have had them since I was young. What can I do to improve or tightening the skin under my eyes?
