I had the first Obalon Balloon placed yesterday, July 9th. The day before insertion I had to take one anti-nausea med and one antacid med. I had to stop eating and drinking at midnight and the next day, only minimal water with the medications. At 11:30am I was scheduled for the procedure....
AVOID!!!! Please do yourself a favor. Take the $6k you’d spend on these balloons and invest in a personal trainer and a meal prep company. These balloons do absolutely nothing. I lost weight on the balloons because I started going to the gym 2x a day and ate less calories. These balloons made m...
Weight loss is a challenge no matter how you do it! Obalon is a tool not a cure. My package came with a platform to help make permanent changes in behavior. It has live support groups, library videos on healthy living, a calorie tracker and a weight tracker. This is what you make it! I have all...

One of 3 balloons made it down. I wasn’t able to get the second or third down so I’d have to spend more money for future attempts. I’m going to skip it. I had no problem swallowing placebo pill of same size but had difficulty with the tube attached. Consider and understand if this happe...
I first did the orbera balloon and lost 50 lbs. I still had about 20 lbs to lose and then went on a medication that caused a little weight gain, so I wanted to lose 40 lbs more. I decided to try the obalon because it sounded simpler - you just swallow the balloon. Simpler isn't always better. ...
