SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY

I just had my third drop. It's been such an eye-opening experience. You have to truly want to change your life and work for your results. I knew I was stuck in my habits. I knew I needed to change. I lost control of my habits and I needed help to change. The team was patient and kind. They have been with me through this all. They call to check on me and make sure I'm feeling well. My coach holds me accountable but gives me grace to learn new habits. If you really are ready for a change, you can do this. It's hard. It's so hard on some days. But my eyes are on the prize of getting and saying healthy. The staff helps me along and always answers all my questions. It's going to be so worth it in the end.

Hey there, just checking in to see if you would be willing to share an update on your journey.

Sure! I found my team to be great. After going through this process, however, I would never recommend it. The balloons are a tool towards weight-loss, but they are not a miracle. You still have to put in the work. You have to completely change your eating habits and hit the gym. I thought they would teach me to eat less. They do not. Your body gets used to them and they're just another disappointment. But - I hit the gym. I lifted weights. I cut carbs (no bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, or other starchy veggies). I revamped my life. I have lost 87 pounds total but not because of the balloons. I did it because I wanted to change. My doctor helped me understand that cardio is great - but not for weight-loss. Lifting weights burns more than twice the calories, as does swimming or walking in water. You have to go to the gym at least 4 times a week for at least an hour each time. It can be exhausting but it is worth it.

My advice? Do not waste your money. Start saving and put money towards a vacation or something you really want. Once you hit your goal of weight-loss, go on that vacation or whatever you know you will work towards. This was the biggest waste of money and a very hard lesson for myself. You have it in you to lose the weight. I thought I didn't and I would and could never. I was wrong. You really have to want it. There is a facebook page you can look up. You'll see countless stories of failure. Best of luck. I wish you the best.

I just added an update. My journey was a waste of money with the balloons. I lost weight after they were gone because I stopped eating carbs. No rice, pasta, or potatoes.... No starchy veggies. Limits on everything - no sweets.... But I also did not do high fat like KETO. I eat salad and lean chicken / turkey. I don't eat anything garbage and while I miss it, I feel better. I also go to the gym 4 days a week and lift weights on weight machines for over an hour each time I go.
Sono Bello was great. They were really nice, but the product is not worth anything.

It did nothing but stretch out my stomach. You have to make all the changes and start lifting weights. I've lost all of my weight on my own. These balloons are a huge waste of money and complete garbage. I wish I could get my money back. I've lost a total of 93 pounds. NOT BECAUSE OF THE BALLOONS. I stopped eating carbs and started listing weights. I lost most of my weight after the balloons were gone. Please don't waste your money. I firmly regret it.

I agree. I did a trial study with the balloon and was given the “real” balloon. Weight loss was slow, the amount of discomfort was almost unbearable. I started out 209 lbs. The lowest with the balloon was about 192 with strict dietary restrictions. I only keep the balloon for 14 or 16 weeks. Once it was out, no effort mattered....I gained the weight back and some. Two to three months out, I was up to 218. You have to be true to yourself with this costly procedure. I would not waste my time or money if you are not 110% committed to lifestyle modification. Meaning completely changing your diet, following through with counseling (to encourage behavior change), and exercise. I should have thought longer and harder.
