I have been contemplating a BA for many years to correct my asymmetric, mildly tuberous breasts. Consulted with my PS over a year ago, had to postpone surgery and now I am finally ready! Had my presurgical/final consult last week. Surgical date is this Thursday. Since I scheduled my surgery I have been more excited and confident than I thought I would be. Decided on 400/375cc Mentor Moderate + Profile silicone implants to be placed subglandular position due to the shape of my breast. I started thinking 300/325, but after much consideration and looking at pics on RealSelf and reading reviews decided on slightly larger implants. My PS and her assistant were extremely helpful in my final size decision. I trust their opinions and it was helpful getting additional insight. I cannot wait, I am extremely optimistic and look forward to my new, improved figure.

Congrats!!! I had mine almost 1 month ago and very happy with my decision. And wearing a top without a bra and having shape is the best best!

I have my consultation in a couple weeks. I am excited and nervous. So far, everyone I have told has been supportive. Although, my doctor was a little hesitant because of the history of breast cancer in my family. So, I am getting another mammogram this week to get a baseline. Good luck to you in your journey!

So Happy!

I had my BA today and I am thrilled with my post surgical breasts. I know it's early, but they are symmetrical, round and I now have volume in the upper pole area. I have some soreness, but have been moving around and controlling pain with meds. Most pain is at the incision sites(inframammary) and sternum. Other than that, I am so happy I made this decision. Loving my new figure!

How big were your breasts before? My surgery is on Thursday. I finally choose a 400cc. I am scared it will be too big. Currently I am a 32 A. I am 105 pounds and 5'1.

i was a 36B cup before surgery. I will not be measured until swelling goes down, right now I am wearing sport bras only. I would guess I will be in the D cup neighborhood. You are tiny, and you probably don't have a lot of breast tissue so you might be just fine. I had a good amount of breast tissue, so it definitely added volume. I am 5'4"' weighed 135 pre surgery. I ended up with 375cc on right, 350 on left to correct asymmetry. I love my results. I would suggest trying to walk around with rice sizers. I did for a week and decided 400 was a little too big for me. Good luck!

I am a 40 something, 5'4" curvy built woman with asymmetry and mildly tuberous breasts. From the moment I met Dr. Ekstrom I knew she would be the perfect PS for me. She is lovely. Incredible track record (has performed close to 2000 BA in her lengthy career) and came highly recommended by both my Internal Medicine and ObGyn. She is meticulous, realistic and results driven. Due to my more complicated case, she wanted to make sure I had realistic expectations which I truly appreciated. I selected 375/350cc Mentor Mod Plus profile silicone implants to be placed subglandularly with an inframmary incision. I had my BA yesterday and although it is very early, I am thrilled with my results. I have minimal post surgical pain, and my wish for balanced, symmetrical breasts with improved upper pole fullness have come true. She is not only an experienced, gifted surgeon, but an artist as well. Her assistant Kristen has been amazing from day one. Her patience with my hundreds of questions and assistance in selecting the perfect size were invaluable. I would highly recommend Dr. Ekstrom and her staff if you are considering BA or any other procedures.mshe has gained a loyal client for life.
