I wasn't sure if I wanted to take the time to write a negative review (I never have before) but I feel it's important to warn others of the repercussions due to being too hasty and trusting when it comes to filler. I am still dealing with the after effects of being overfilled at Naficy over a year ago. This isn't a critique on the skill of the injector, but on the lack of transparency about educating on pros/cons and different options and saying no when necessary.
From my understanding, now having learned a lot about this process, the best injectors analyze your face, tell you what they think would be best for you specifically and always start small and with less. They also ask you what you concerns and goals are and match you with the most suitable treatment for you. This was not the case with my experience at Naficy. I came in and didn't know much about the different types of filler for the undereyes. We ended up using the most expensive and long-lasting filler and started with 1ml per side which isn't typically recommended for the undereye area where you want to start with 0.5ml per side (something I now know). She also put some in my cheeks which may or may not have been needed and wasn't my initial goal at all. Not knowing that over a month or two the filler would expand because it's hydrophilic (something that should have been shared), I asked to come back 3 weeks later. At the next appointment she chose to inject an additional 1ml (and several hundreds of dollars) into my cheeks and undereye area. This is where an injector who is looking out for your best interest would tell you no you don't need more or to give it more time. If they felt more was needed, certainly another 1ml wasn't necessary. Fast forward a month or so later and my mid face looked over-filled and wide and I just didn't totally look like myself. Since, I have had to go through multiple sessions of dissolving and refilling elsewhere and have yet to fully resolve this issue all because in my first experience getting filler, I was overfilled (and oversold).
It's important to do your own research and understand filler and its effects (like filler lasting way beyond the 1-2 years they tell you) but it's also important to be able to trust that your injector has your best interest at heart over the monetary value they can get from you just because you trust them and don't know any better. I didn't feel genuinely thought of or cared for in my experience and it's been super frustrating ever since.
Just some food for thought for all those thinking of getting filler. It's not something to take lightly. DO YOUR RESEARCH and who your injector is matters. Go to an injector who is known for a less is more and unique to you approach. That's probably not going to be at Naficy. Injectables are a cash cow for plastic surgeon's offices and it's pretty much a back-to-back revolving door. You feel rushed and pressed for time which never makes for an ideal experience where you will be heard and all of your options will be explained fully. That's no way to deal with something as sensitive as your face.

I take some responsibility here as I should have done more research on my own regarding filler and the different reactions and effects it can have. However, you hope that you can put trust into the injector to have your best interest at heart and to take care of you. Instead, I barely received a consultation and filler was spoken of very casually - "it's temporary, it only lasts 1.5-2 years" (false - filler can last way longer than that), "it's reversible - you can dissolve it if you don't love it" (not really - it's very hard to dissolve all filler especially a thicker one like Voluma. The dissolving enzyme can also dissolve your own natural HA which you may never grow back - it's the injector's best guess when injecting the dissolving enzyme into the face).
I will never come back to your office for any treatment. The only great injector you had left last year or early this year (I wonder why...). Out of all my experiences at your office (I came back to get the filler dissolved on 2 occasions), she provided the most knowledge, care and skill. Everyone else did not take the time and carelessly either filled or dissolved my face which has left me still recovering and trying to remedy what I lost. It's no surprise when you book 20 min slots back to back with other patients. Patient-specific, consultative care isn't the priority when you're booking who knows how many people per injector per day.
Injecting and aesthetic beauty really is an art. Unfortunately I didn't book with the right artist. Lesson learned. For those who see this review and comment section. Research the specific injectors not just the office. Look at before/afters of their work and make sure they have extensive experience and knowledge in the areas you're interested in. Look at reviews. Get referrals. It's always worth both the wait and the cost for the best. Trust me as I didn't do that here and I'm paying for it now. Thankfully I've booked with an experienced MD in aesthetics who uses ultrasound in their practice. Another thing to look into and is emerging in this field - thankfully.
