I’ve wanted this procedure for years so I am so happy I got it done yesterday. I had 2 vaginal births which destroyed my vagina. In 2015 I had prolapse repair surgery which helped with a lot of the problems I was having but I knew it wasn’t going to address the sexual function issues I had. So I started researching doctors who specialize in rejuvenation. I stumbled across Dr. Reed on realself and loved his before and after’s. The whole process with his office was quick and easy. The nurses and Dr. Reed provided exceptional care and made sure that I was at ease. Dr. Reed clearly explained everything to me as it was happening so I felt comfortable and not anxious. The nurses were so kind and attentive to me throughout the whole procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Reed to everyone. I had a vaginoplasty and perineoplasty yesterday. My pain is controlled pretty well but I have this constant nagging feeling that I need to have a bowl movement. Otherwise I’m okay.

Day 2 is going well. There is lots of soreness, swelling and minor pain. My perineum is very stiff. I think that is causing most of the discomfort. The ice packs help a lot though.

Did it help tighten things up in the end? Im contemplating a vaginoplasty. My husband’s friend said I felt loose down there, so now I’m obsessing over it.

Swelling and another problem ????

This may be TMI but I’m being completely honest about my recovery. While the swelling is getting better, I now have a huge hemorrhoid. I’ve never heard anyone mention this side effect in their reviews so just beware. I’m still taking my muscles relaxers and toradol as prescribed plus icing the area. Also I’m using tucks pads... a lot of them. Anyways, the pain and swelling is manageable. I have one area on my labia which concerns me but I’ll ask about that on Monday at my post op. Appointment.
